Milk of amnesia is propofol. That's what they give you for minor surgeries and medical procedures

such as a colonoscopy. Versed is different. Versed is like valium, but you literally forget everything

that happens after it takes effect. Had it once (before a colonoscopy, no less), and I'll never do

it again. Scary how much you lose.

My nurse recommended it because I was anxious (actually was my issue at the time), but

never again. Propofol, however, I've been under 4 or 5 times by now and that doesn't bother me. I typically

wake up during whatever procedure I'm going through anyway, apparently a result of my liver

conditioning.
