I disagree. The way I look at it, the things happening around us are real and effect our lives, whether we are aware or not. We deserve to know what is effecting out lives, so that at least we can make an informed decision about what we can do about it. If we can't change it, at least we can change the things in our lives to mitigate the harm done.
