Anons,
This Anon sat in the yard on Sunday and re-read my favorite book of the Bible, Matthew. This gospel, to me, crackles with the most raw energy and authority. This might be an irrelevant thing to say, but it feels as though Jesus's own words have much significance right now for our struggle. Revelation gets tossed around a lot these days, but to me Jesus's words and message were paradigm-shifting and rattling to the power structure back then, and I believe they are so today. The Pharisees and money-changers never fell from power, just because Jesus rebuked them. They "killed" him and continued on. But the message still haunts us. Most choose not to hear the message, but it's loud and clear to me. We are still captive in Babylon. Narrow is the path that leads out.
