President Barack Obama uttered the N-Word to illustrate how racism still exists in commenting on the Charleston massacre, leading Monday's latest developments in the story.
'It's Not Just A Matter Of It Not Being Polite To Say N*gger In Public '
The commander-in-chief used raw language to make a clear statement on the state of racism in 2015, while appearing on comic Marc Maron's podcast Friday, as the duo discussed a number of issues stemming out of a white supremacist's shooting of nine black people in a Charleston, South Carolina's Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church last week. He told Maron, "Racism, we are not cured of it and it's not just a matter of it not being polite to say n*gger in public that's not the measure of whether racism still exists or not." The country's first black president said that "societies don't, overnight, completely erase everything that happened 200 to 300 years prior," and that hard feelings over slavery cast "a long shadow and that's still part of our DNA that's passed on."

In three days, on December 23, 2008 the family of Donald Young, his mother Norma Jean Kendrick and sister Lorraine Young along with his brother(s) will mark the sadness of one year to the day that their son/brother was discovered brutally murdered.
In that year the Chicago Police department has refused to our knowledge, to actively investigate the involvement of Jeremiah Wright and Barack Obama in his death. Barack Obama has been protected and sheltered by the Chicago Police Department and the office of Mayor Daly. This even though four days after Donald Young’s murder, individuals in Chicago openly posted on message boards in Chicago that they “hope the relationship between Donald and Barack Obama does not make Obama involved in Donald’s murder.”
To Mrs. Kendrick and Lorraine, I promise you I will continue to press for the appointment of an independent prosecutor and investigator into the murder of Donald. There is far to much that has been said that clearly calls for Jeremiah Wright and Barack Obama and even Michele Obama to be investigated and despite this, all have been given a free pass by Chicago Police and authorities.
My heart and prayers are with you through this difficult anniversary. I encourage anyone who wishes to relay a message to the Young Family to do so on this post.
