I can't say for sure if there has been any real attempts to secure a bake by an anon. On one hand, an anon could have grabbed the dough but had their bred locked, or it's simply their team attacking and disrupting the board via split breds - this lends credence to the baker whose bred continues (look, anons! The fake baker got BTFO).
Start keeping track of the notables today as well as the handoffs, you'll notice the notables will retain the same formatting no matter which one of them is baking. And like you have mentioned before, the baker alone will eat up 70+ posts while his team will eat up another 100 or so posts and that's just including the consensus building shills and not the spam/other types of shills. So in any given bred you're looking at half if not more of the bred being exclusively shills.
They were very active when the animefag baker persona first showed up, and despite animefag throwing tantrums and purposely spamming his own bred to consume as much as the bred as possible the BVs for some reason decided his bakes should stay up and all others should be locked.
