The time HAD to be now. Any sooner, and we could not all communicate this way. It's now possible to know that there were MANY that were woke as you were. And, although Soc Media were Clown Spy ops, they didn't count on it bringing wokefags together. Up to that point, was easy to Conspiracy theory shame, and silence the loudest voices. This was not possible until this level of the Info Age. On the other hand, in another ten years, /they/ would have complete control. This was a very small window of opportunity. And, consider what stars had to align; the right Patriot Generals and Admirals hitting their peaks at just the right time, POTUS popularity peaked just before running, Info Age perfect timing, a high level of Americanism throughout the country (Hussein caused that though). Other stars aligned too. This was the ONLY chance to take /them/ down. I can't imagine turning on the news and hearing nothing but how prosperous our species has become and how quickly we are advancing. It will be glorious.
