Police praise 'heroic' shoppers after supermarket stabbing attack.
Police have praised the bravery of shoppers who intervened to confront a man who had stabbed several people in a "random attack" at a Dunedin supermarket this afternoon.
"We believe this was a random attack."

Why is this immediately labelled "random attack" when a later report stated that the person was in hospital and under police guard, and - get this - YET TO BE INTERVIEWED?
Our country's leaders are quick to label this as a random attack.
