"Gas Run Has Begun" - Fuel Stations Run Dry Amid Hacked Pipeline

Gas shortages are being reported in the Southeast of the US amid the recent cybersecurity attack that temporarily shut down one of the largest pipelines in the US.

Colonial Pipeline Co. Chief Executive Officer Joseph Blount said the company was in the process of restoring its systems but wouldn't resume fuel shipments until the ransomware had been removed, according to Bloomberg.

At the moment, Colonial Pipeline is manually operating a segment of pipeline between North Carolina to Maryland and expects a complete system restore by the weekend. However, gas shortages are already being reported across North Carolina to Florida to Alabama.

On Monday, North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper signed an Executive Order declaring a state of emergency, temporarily suspending motor vehicle fuel regulations to ensure adequate fuel supply supplies throughout the state.

WLOS' Caitlyn Penter reported gas shortages in North Carolina.

Wildfires Rage In Arizona; Southwestern US Faces Megadrought

The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has warned against a megadrought approaching dangerous levels in the southwestern US. Wildfire conditions have been ripe across the region as Red Flag Warnings have been sprouting up from California to Texas.

Arid conditions in Arizona appear to have sparked a duo of wildfires burning in the state, forcing thousands of folks to flee as firefighters struggle to contain the blazes.

One of the fires rages just south of Prescott National Forest, located in north-central Arizona. Mandatory evacuations orders forced thousands from their homes in Minnehaha, Fort Misery, and Horsethief Basin, while Crown King was placed on alert Sunday. The fire has been dubbed the Tussock Fire.

"There is significant danger to you, gather necessary items and go," read a Facebook post operated by the Arizona Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The Facebook page continued to say the Tussock Fire is "approximately 3,500 acres; 0% containment."

The second wildfire is approximately 2,560 acres and stood at 35% contained as of Sunday evening. The fire is called Copper Canyon Fire and is burning 3 miles northeast of Globe in Gila County, located in the state's central part.

GOP Chair Dr. Kelli Ward: If Maricopa County Election Routers Were Shared with Law Enforcement the Election Could Not Be Certified

Arizona GOP Chair Dr. Kelli Ward released a video update on Monday morning on America’s Audit. Dr. Ward went on to explain “the big router lie” by the Maricopa County officials.

Maricopa County had 2.1 million votes in 2020 and therefore required a large system to handle them and therefore the county would need hardware routers for the election. The routers would never be used for data storage because they could not support the amount of information.

Maricopa County insisted last week they could turn over the routers because they are shared with law enforcement.

Dr. Kelli Ward explained in this video that if an election is to be certified its routers should not and could not be shared with law enforcement. This is not allowed.

Earlier today Joe Hoft at The Gateway Pundit explained that routers show where data was sent and when it was sent and that is why Maricopa County does not want to turn over the routers.

Florida Authorities Find No Wrongdoing in Handling of Epstein's Controversial 2008 Case

Epstein purportedly committed suicide in 2019 after being arrested by federal authorities for suspected sex trafficking, for which he was subsequently convicted posthumously. However, this was not the first time he was charged, he struck a contentious plea bargain in 2008 with Florida prosecutors.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) has concluded that there is no proof of illegal wrongdoing in the state's handling of its investigation into the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, a series of summaries published on Monday showed.

The findings were presented by the Office of Executive Investigations of the FDLE and saw investigators specifically look into Epstein's 2008 plea deal, his time in Palm Beach Sheriff's Office (PBSO) custody, and claims that Epstein engaged in sexual contact with young women while on work release.

The financial mogul had been permitted to plead guilty to a state charge and spend most of his 13-month incarceration on "work release" after an undercover investigation of his alleged misconduct with underage girls began in 2005.

The documents found “no evidence” of criminal activity by officials involved in the investigation, prosecution, or punishment of Epstein, though the inquiries discovered that he was given “differential treatment” while in PBSO custody.

The authorities found that it was "possible" that Epstein had sex with young women while on work release, but no proof was found that would warrant a criminal investigation.

According to the plea deal terms, a federal non-prosecution arrangement required Epstein to plead guilty to state charges and a work-release clause allowed him to stay up to 12 hours per day, six days a week outside of jail, instead of being sent to state prison. The financier was also registered as Level 3 sex offender, which indicates an individual has a high risk of offense repeat, although he was never enforced to personally check in with the authorities every 90 days.

"No evidence was developed to indicate that undue influence by Epstein or his defense counsel contributed to either the PBPD’s (Palm Beach Police Department) or the SAO’s (State Attorney’s Office) assessments of their proposed charges against Epstein,” one of the documents reads.

Investigators also inquired at whether Epstein's work release agreement should have required a court order, but determined that he was eligible without one, as long as he met the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office's requirements.

The FDLE also found "no evidence" that former Palm Beach State Attorney Barry Krischer "colluded with Epstein’s defense counsel in order to provide Epstein any benefit related to work release or jail placement," according to the filings.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis demanded in August 2019 the FDLE take over a criminal investigation into Epstein and conduct a "preliminary inquiry into … irregularities surrounding the prior state investigation and the ultimate plea agreement."

The abovementioned investigations did not assess the efficiency of federal agencies. In 2006, the FBI launched its own investigation into Epstein, which resulted in an indictment the following year.

Former federal prosecutors had "poor judgment" but had not violated the law in negotiating the deal, the Justice Department said back in 2020.
