19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Sirach 10;12-19
The Beginning of Pride is when one departs from God, and turns their heart away from their maker.
For Pride is the Beginning of Sin, and he that hath it shall pour out Abomination; and therefor
The Lord brought upon them strange calamities, and overthrew them utterly.
The Lord hath cast down the thrones of the proud princes, and set up the Meek in their stead.
The Lord hath plucked up the roots of the proud nations, and planted the lowly in their place.
The Lord overthrew countries of the heathen, and destroyed them to the foundations of the earth.
He took some of them away, and destroyed them, and hath made their memorial to cease from the earth.
Pride was not made for man, nor furious anger for him that was born of a woman.
They that fear the Lord are a sure seed, and they that Love him an Honourable plant.
They that regard not the Law are a Dishonourable seed
they that transgress the commandments are a deceivable seed.
