James T. Harris of KFYI speaks with Arizona Audit Liaison Ken Bennett to understand why the audit is being conducted and how it works.
Ken explains that33K ballots had no Presidential vote recorded by the Dominion machines.This is in a race “won” by a 0.3% margin (10K votes).He also notes that approximately 90% of the 2.1M ballots were mailed. The audit is looking for any ballots that were uncounted, mail-in ballots without folds, with machine-filled-in bubbles, printed on unofficial paper, or without proper alignment marks, and any envelopes that are missing signatures. He mentioned that they are also checking on ballots that have not been accounted for e.g. returned ballots.
Ken hopes the audit will be about 1/3 complete by the end of the week.

Inconsiderate Jews Continue To Be Alive Against Palestinians' Wishes
JERUSALEM—Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip fired rockets toward Jerusalem this week, sending a clear message that they would like all the Jews to die. In spite of this clear message, inconsiderate Jews in Israel continue to be alive.
"Seriously– It's insanely rude," said Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. "We have been very clear about our dreams of driving Israel into the sea until every last Jew is dead, but they refuse to compromise with us. How can one answer such impoliteness, except with more rockets aimed at Israeli civilians?"
President Biden has reprimanded Israel for being so mean, calling for them to compromise with the Palestinians. "Look folks– shalom and all that. C'mon! Don't be so rigid! Don't be so stubborn! What Hamas is asking for ain't that hard! Do all of you Jews have to stay alive all the time? That's just not reasonable!"
Israel responded to Hamas rockets with airstrikes, which critics say is a slap in the face to Palestinian leaders who wish to shoot rockets in peace.

Biden Worried Gas Shortages May Hurt Carter’s Chances Against Reagan
WASHINGTON, D.C.—As fuel shortages cause long lines at gas stations across the country, President Biden admitted he was worried that this may hurt Carter's chances against Reagan in the upcoming election.
"Listen, it's a real problem," said President Biden to his bathtub, which he had mistaken for his press pool. "People need gas. All the Latinx and poor kids need gas– even the white kids. I'm just worried President Carter may not get reelected. Reagan's comin' on pretty strong."
Solutions proposed by Biden include building some sort of an "extra-large pipeline" to carry more gas into the country or making everyone exchange their automobiles for bicycles.
"We have to do something before Reagan catches Jimmy Carter in the polls!" said Biden.
White House sources report Biden is "fully committed" to solving the gas problem, and that he knows it's 2021 and he's the president.

"Occidental Petroleum" Says Federal Leasing Ban Would Hurt U.S. Oil Growth

(Reuters) – U.S. oil and gas producer Occidental Petroleum Corp said federal drilling permits are moving forward in the Permian Basin shale field following a federal pause this year, but a longer-term ban could hurt U.S. oil output.
Producers are likely to continue to be able to secure permits on existing federal leases, but Chief Executive Vicki Hollub said on Tuesday she was concerned about the possibility of a federal moratorium on new oil and gas leases going forward. The Biden administration is reviewing the federal oil and gas leasing program.
“That would be bad for our industry. It would be bad for the United States,” Hollub said on an earnings call with analysts. “It would put our country in a position where we would likely have an even tougher time increasing production above where the United States is today.”
Occidental is one of the biggest U.S. shale producers but is setting ambitious climate targets and trying to turn its low-carbon unit into a profitable business.
Though shareholders want to know more, it is “not yet able” to detail the potential financial returns from its low-carbon unit, Hollub said.
Occidental reported a first-quarter loss after market close on Monday that beat Wall Street expectations. But shares traded down 7.4% to $24.67 on Tuesday afternoon.
Despite a better outlook for chemicals and midstream, shares fell due to “the slower pace of reduction in the company’s net debt position,” said Peter McNally, analyst with Third Bridge Group, who added, “The balance sheet has been the critical issue since the acquisition of Anadarko Petroleum in 2019.”
Occidental has struggled to pay down debt amassed in the $38 billion deal. It cut debt by about $3 billion last year but in the first quarter reduced net debt by about $279 million, according to regulatory filings.
