Too easily done if they were even to boot from a flash drive, those are scanned data off of cloned drives, you clone a drive bit-by-bit…
To both either try to delete the files so there are no installed OS logs.
That should really show also if they boot off a cd/flash to prevent detection… How is a file deleted if a machine isn't being recorded as active during the time period of deletion?
