I remember in the early 1980's, front page story in WSJ reported, found a way cure AIDS by removing-processing-replacing a patient's own blood. Too long ago to remember what the process was but in my pea-brain it reminded me of some kind of dialysis. Never saw it reported any where else, and never say any follow up.
