We are in an inflation crisis and the Fed doesn't want to take responsibility for being the reason gas is only going to get more expensive.
Biden doesn't care about the economy or he'd focus on fixing rates and cutting printing. When this "shortage" goes away price won't drop.
If we had a shortage why is Oil still trading at an extremely low price? Because oil isn't the problem, inflation in commodities and gas prices is.
What a fucking joke. Our government would rather make excuses than adress issues. Oil futures were NEGATIVE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER IN HISTORY in 2020.
That means you would get PAID to buy oil. We filled the reserves to overflow. We aren't in a shortage. Don't fucking kid your self. This is all an excuse to ignore the larger problems at hand which will cripple are economy.
My prediction: this inflation which is blamed on a shortage will be turned into a shitty argument for more spending on "environmentally friendly/renewable energy" type things. It'll really just pump stocks senators hold while the fed keeps buying up shit bonds from corporations.
