Yes, I vaguely remember either the process used heat or light… so it could be. The WSJ article did say it had been recently tested/tried on AIDS patients at that time, and it worked.

Sorry to hear that. Please also let her know if she had been on birth control pills and did not wait a year after stopping the pill before conceiving, the chance of miscarriage is higher than normal. The body needs time to allow hormones to get back to normal after the pill.
