'STEP UP BILL' Bill Gates urged to give evidence to Ghislaine Maxwell investigators about ties to Jeffrey Epstein by victims’ lawyer

BILL Gates has been urged to come forward and give evidence about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein - as it's revealed he bought homes near the disgraced financier and one of his billionaire pals.

Lawyer Spencer Kuvin, who represents nine Epstein victims, told The Sun that Gates should volunteer any information about the perv or his pals that could help in the Ghislaine Maxwell investigation.

Gates and the billionaire pedophile first met each other in 2011 - three years after Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting an underage girl in Florida - and met on numerous occasions

"The issue I have is a similar issue as with Prince Andrew," Kuvin told The Sun.

"Why are you taking business meetings with a person like that? I question anyone's moral character who chooses to take business meetings with someone who's exhibited that kind of behavior and admitted to that type of behavior.

"With Bill Gates, his wealth and investigatory powers, I find it incredibly hard to believe that he would not have known the full extent of the allegations that have been brought against Epstein here for that.

"And yet he continued to take meetings with him. It just shows poor judgment."

Gates has always denied witnessing any wrongdoing during any of his meetings with Epstein. Prince Andrew has also denied any wrongdoing.

While records show Gates flew on Epstein's notorious Lolita Express in 2013, Gates claims he didn't know who the jet belonged to.

Melinda Gates was reportedly disturbed by her then husband's relationship with the wealthy Epstein way back in 2013, telling friends how uncomfortable she was in his company and that she wanted "nothing to do with him", the Daily Beast reported.

The business magnate announced last week he and Melinda would be parting ways after 27 years of marriage.

Kuvin added that the timing of the divorce, the process of which is believed to have started in 2019, by Melinda, around the time of Epstein's arrest on sex trafficking charges "does seem suspect".

He is now calling for Gates to come forward to authorities and hand over any information he has about Epstein and his associates to prosectors in the Ghislaine Maxwell case.

Jailed Maxwell, 59, denies all wrongdoing and has pleaded not guilty to sex trafficking and other charges over her alleged role in procuring four teenage girls for former lover Epstein to abuse between 1994 and 2004.

Kuvin said: "Remember there's an ongoing investigation regarding Ghislaine Maxwell.

"So if Mr. Gates, has information that could assist in that investigation, I would say he should step forward.

"Just like I have said with respect to Prince Andrew, Mr Gates should come forward and volunteer any information he thinks that could help in that investigation.

"And I think that that more people need to be looked into, not just Bill Gates, not just Ghislaine Maxwell, but I've always said that this was a much larger network of people that need to be held accountable for their connections to Jeffrey Epstein."

"We know historically that numerous other people that and took meetings with Epstein after his conviction, we're just slowly peeling away the layers of this onion of the numerous individuals, high profile individuals that continued with their social and business relationships with that scene after his convictions.

"There are academic institutions and business individuals that were continuing associations with Epstein after his conviction in admissions about what he'd done to young girls."

The Sun reached out to representatives for Gates.

Previously, Gates has said: "I met him [Epstein]. I didn’t have any business relationship or friendship with him..

"I didn’t go to New Mexico or Florida or Palm Beach or any of that. There were people around him who were saying, 'Hey, if you want to raise money for global health and get more philanthropy, he knows a lot of rich people.'

"Every meeting where I was with him were meetings with men. I was never at any parties or anything like that. He never donated any money to anything that I know about."

>I wish a dingo would have taken my baby, then I wouldn’t have anything to do with Prince Andrew any more.

BBC cuts Prince Andrew joke from RuPaul’s Drag Race

Joke in Australian version at expense of Queen’s scandal-hit son deemed not suitable for British audiences

The BBC is embroiled in a bizarre row about censorship, the royal family and drag queens after editing an episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race to remove a joke about Prince Andrew.

The national broadcaster is currently showing episodes of the new series RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under on its iPlayer streaming service but edited out a comment made by a drag artist dressed as Queen Elizabeth II, apparently in the belief it could offend UK audiences.

Viewers of the original Australian broadcast saw performer Anita Wigl’it, dressed in full drag as the British monarch, ad-lib the comment: “I wish a dingo would have taken my baby, then I wouldn’t have anything to do with Prince Andrew any more.”

The BBC decided British viewers should not have to listen to the remark, made in a segment of the show where performers compete to make crude comments, and deleted it before the episode was broadcast in the UK.

A spokesperson for the BBC confirmed the change but did not elaborate on exactly why the comment was deemed inappropriate for British ears: “The BBC occasionally makes edits to acquired programmes in accordance with UK audience expectations.”

Prince Andrew has had a reduced public profile since his disastrous BBC Newsnight interview last year about his relationship with the deceased paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, stepping back from all of his royal duties. The prince has repeatedly declined to travel to the US to discuss the case with American authorities but insists he has done nothing wrong, despite US prosecutors declaring him “uncooperative”.

The BBC has struggled to judge the tone of its coverage of the royal family in recent months, with its decision to dedicate all its broadcast channels to the death of Prince Philip attracting a recordbreaking number of complaints. At the same time, the broadcaster also received a smaller – but still substantial – number of complaints from viewers who felt the coverage was not sufficiently reverential towards the royal family.

A second in-character joke by Anita Wigl’it about Prince Philip, filmed before the Duke of Edinburgh’s death, was also shown in the original broadcast but deemed inappropriate for British audiences by the BBC.

The edits to Drag Race came at a time when the BBC’s director general, Tim Davie, is battling with a government trying to stamp its authority on the national broadcaster, with Conservative MPs accusing the BBC of being unpatriotic and failing to promote the union flag in its publications. Davie was also accused of curbing leftwing comedy programmes that have been unpopular with leading Tories.

Drag Race Down Under was filmed in Auckland earlier this year and features contestants from Australia and New Zealand. It is the latest international spin-off of the booming Drag Race franchise, joining the BBC-produced British version, which has been a hit for the national broadcaster.

Strangely, other Drag Race Down Under jokes about the royal family did make the BBC broadcast, including one in which the drag character of Elizabeth II said her advice to Meghan, Duchess of Sussex was “don’t piss me off – and wear a seatbelt”. British viewers were also allowed to watch a drag queen about to don Queen drag declare: “When somebody turns 100 I write them a letter – and when somebody turns 16 Prince Andrew writes them a text.”

launched by Bill Gates in 2006, TerraPower, in partnership with GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy, believes it has found a way to make the infamously unwieldy energy source a great deal nimbler — and for an affordable price. The new design, announced by TerraPower on August 27th, is a combination of a "sodium-cooled fast reactor" — a type of small reactor in which liquid sodium is used as a coolant — and an energy storage system. While the reactor could pump out 345 megawatts of electrical power indefinitely, the attached storage system would retain heat in the form of molten salt and could discharge the heat when needed, increasing the plant’s overall power output to 500 megawatts for more than 5.5 hours.“This allows for a nuclear design that follows daily electric load changes and helps customers capitalize on peaking opportunities driven by renewable energy fluctuations,” TerraPower said. Dubbed Natrium after the Latin name for sodium ('natrium'), the new design will be available in the late 2020s, said Chris Levesque, TerraPower's president and CEO.
