Mostly they watch Tik Tok BS because it affirms their fanatical beliefs! I’ve asked why would you trust the government or doctors, and then the pull up some article from NYT, “Who should you believe, a conspiracy or the leaders of Science and government”. Any truth I post is immediately fact checked. I asked them, “at what time in your life did you have to fact check everything?” They don’t understand it Only happened when fake news was spewed by the Clintons and establishment. HRC’s famous line, “a vast right wing conspiracy” caught on.

Yes, the cognitive dissonance is what scares the so much, I told my brother “cognitive dissonance is good for you, don’t worry it will pass”. It’s like their mind has these locked doors, “don’t go there, it’s scary”. It’s a struggle for truth daily and in our lives. Fortunately I’ve only wanted the truth, good or bad it don’t matter to me. But the delusions in our lives have been very strong and it’s frightening to challenge them and break them down.

I personally didn’t care about Trump, as long as it was not HRC, I didn’t know about him but eventually halfway through the debates I started to support him. I’ve had many moments of cognitive dissonance and the only thing that saved me was asking questions.
When Trump tweeted “Obama spied on me”, I said in mind, of course he did, but why do you have to tweet it? I then thought, “no this is good, he’s telling the world the truth they’ve never heard”.
And then I had my question on the way he talked, I heard from spirit, “we need this change”!
I turned off the TV a month and a half after the election because depression was starting to set in, it immediately lifted all states of anger. I still do not watch it.
