So charges Rep. Kat Cammack, a Florida Republican, who has laudably made this problem an issue.

Rep. Kat Cammack, R-Fla., sent a scathing letter to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg Wednesday for trying to “silence” conservative views on his platform while allowing human smugglers and cartels to “openly” operate on the social media site.

The Florida freshman, fresh off a visit to the southern border, accused Facebook and other social media companies of perpetuating the border crisis by providing a means for drug cartels and coyotes to post paid advertisements that encourage migrants to cross into the United States illegally.

“Facebook’s role in the crisis at the border is urgent and must be addressed immediately,” Cammack wrote Zuckerberg in a letter first obtained by Fox News.

She’s right. I wrote about what she describes in her letter and materials last April 6 here, and I can see that in her materials, she cites the same Facebook page, Inmigrantes Centroamericanos, that I did, where I went through it post by post.

Facebook makes huge money from this kind of advertising made by human-smuggling rackets, and their role is vital. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is openly pro–open borders, so it might just be intentional.

As I cited in my piece, from the research of the Federation for Immigration Reform, Joe Biden put out some radio ads to dissuade migrants from patronizing cartel human-smuggling rackets, but the vast majority of would-be illegals don’t get their information from radio; they get it from social media. That’s the root cause that Biden border surge czar Kamala Harris is still looking for.

And it’s not just human-smugglers, promising “100% safe” illegal journeys breaking into America on Facebook and other social media. It’s the cartel drug crime operations, too.

In the aftermath of Derek Chauvin’s guilty verdict over the death of George Floyd, Black Lives Matter (BLM) terrorists have been busy threatening governments all across the country to pay them cash “reparations” as restitution.

In BLM’s view, it is only appropriate for all black people to get free money from American taxpayers because a doped-up Floyd suffocated himself to death from all the fentanyl he took prior to be arrested for attempting to use counterfeit money at a Minneapolis convenience store.

It is somehow white people’s fault that Floyd effectively killed himself, and that means governments now have a duty to hand out “direct cash payments” to BLM in order to make things right.

According to the terrorist group, “organizers and family members of victims of police violence are careful not to label his conviction as anything more than a step in the direction toward justice.” In other words, now it is all about the money.

BLM’s Minnesota chapter says full-scale reparations is the only way to atone for Floyd’s self-induced drug overdose, which to them is evidence that America is engaged in generational institutionalized racism.

“It’s about direct cash payments,” said Trahern Crews, a spokesperson for BLM Minnesota. “Reparations is cause for a cessation, which means stop killing them, or stop harming them. That’s not stopping, so we don’t get a chance to heal.”

Online child sexual exploitation sting leads to two arrests and three arrest warrants

CURRY COUNTY, Ore. — Following a month-long investigation, Curry County Sheriffs arrested two men in connection to child sex crimes.

The investigation was carried out by detectives from the Curry County Sheriff's Office and a task force which is composed of Oregon State Police and the Brookings Police Department. The task force has been investigating child exploitation crimes and conducting operations to intercept adults online who seek out children and intend to meet them in person for sex.

On May 12, deputies and detectives with the Curry County Sheriff's Office, alongside OSP and Brookings Police, arrested two men who arranged to meet in person to engage in sexual intercourse and deviant sexual intercourse with a person they believed to be a child under the age of 16.

The two men in custody are 71-year-old Robert Chester Wittren and 47-year-old Dominique Jason Mclean and both reside or have temporary residences in Curry County. Both men are being lodged at the Curry County Jail for the crimes of Online Sexual Corruption of a Child 1st degree, Online Sexual Corruption of a Child 2nd degree, and Luring a Minor.

The investigation also yielded another three adult males in the Southern Oregon area between the ages of 21 to 71 that engaged in sexualized chat, including sending pornographic pictures and videos to a person they believed to be a child. Probable cause exists and arrest warrants are forthcoming for these three other adult men. Upon their arrests, the Sheriff’s Office will issue another press release.

Hope Valley Man In Federal Custody On Child Porn Charges

It's the third recent arrest for Christopher Leherissier, 36.

HOPKINTON, RI — A Hope Valley man was detained in federal custody after his arrest Wednesday on child pornography charges.

Christopher Leherissier, 36, allegedly downloaded child pornography while on bail related to previous arrests on sex crimes, one of which involved an alleged attempt to meet up with a 14-year-old girl.

Prosecutors say Leherissier in 2020 used the Kik social media app to communicate with a person he believed to be a young teen, but that the person was actually an undercover detective. During months of online chat, Leherissier allegedly sent sexually graphic photos of himself and asked for photos from his intended victim. In July of that year, Leherissier allegedly drove to a location where he believed he would have sex with the girl. When he arrived, he was placed under arrest. His smart phone was seized and it allegedly contained child pornography.

Leherissier was arrested again in October 2020 after a Rhode Island State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigation alleged that he transferred child pornography using a DropBox account. Police conducted a search of his home in Hopkinton and seized numerous electronic devices. They say they found graphic images including pre-pubescent girls.

Two Men Arrested and Charged with Stealing, Selling Sensitive Air Force Data

Two men were arrested on suspicions they illegally acquired and sold thousands of U.S. Air Force technical orders and aerospace data to domestic and foreign customers for a profit.

Law enforcement officials arrested Sarfraz Yousuf, 43, of Miramar, Florida, and Marc Chavez, 53, of Trabuco Canyon, California, over their alleged involvement in the scheme, the Department of Justice announced Wednesday. Each was charged with one count of theft of government property.

According to an affidavit provided to Military.com, the men each ran separate businesses out of their homes. Yousuf obtained and sold 1,875 stolen technical orders documents detailing operations, maintenance and schematics of equipment to Chavez between 2015 and 2020 in exchange for at least $132,280, according to a filing by the U.S. Attorney's Office in Santa Ana, California.

In one instance in June 2020, Yousuf, who worked for Summit Aerospace, sold 34 Air Force technical orders to Chavez, including one containing overhaul instructions related to a "Rate Gyro Assembly Flight Control" for $2,170, the affidavit states. The assembly is part of a flight control system that stabilizes an aircraft's altitude in the air.

Air Force spokeswoman Ann Stefanek referred questions to the Department of Justice. The DOJ did not provide further comment when asked when the Air Force was alerted to the breach and whether the service was able to reclaim the data.

The Air Force breach was discovered while law enforcement officials were investigating a U.S. Navy employee's unlawful sale of government-controlled technical drawings to a Newport Beach, California, company. That employee, civilian engineer Mark Fitting, 54, of Berlin, New Jersey, pleaded guilty in December 2020 to one count of aiding and abetting the distribution of stolen government property and one count of conspiracy. He was employed at a Navy facility in Philadelphia, according to the DOJ.

The investigation found that the Newport Beach company, Newport Aeronautical Sales, was unlawfully obtaining Air Force technical orders from a Yahoo email account that belonged to Yousuf, who went by the alias "Mandy," according to the DOJ.

In one of the earliest emails, dating back to 2015, "Mandy" corresponded with someone at the company to tout his access to Air Force documents.

Regavim: The Israeli Faux Environmental Org Converting US Donations into Palestinian Evictions

Funded largely through tax-deductible donations from the United States, Regavim petitions the Israeli government to evict Palestinians under the guise of protecting the environment.

OCCUPIED WEST BANK — In the village of Khan al-Ahmar in the occupied West Bank, dozens of Bedouin families are at risk of losing their homes and becoming refugees again by July. While it is the Israeli government and military that are enacting the demolitions and evacuations, their efforts are largely driven by a pro-settler nonprofit supported by American charities.

While it is masked as an environmental organization, Regavim’s work involves petitioning the Israeli government to demolish structures and pursue evictions for Palestinians and Bedouins under the guise of protecting “Israel’s most precious and scarce resources: land reserves, water, air quality” — though much of the organization’s focus is on occupied Palestinian territory. Regavim’s most recent targets have been the villages of Khan al-Ahmar and Susya, located in Area C of the West Bank, which is under total Israeli military control. Israel rarely approves building permits for the indigenous people in Area C so the majority of Palestinian and Bedouin construction there is deemed illegal.

In collaboration with nearby Israeli settlements, Regavim has petitioned the Israeli Supreme Court to demolish hundreds of buildings in Khan al-Ahmar since 2009. The Israeli government has continuously delayed the displacement, causing Regavim to repeatedly file petitions in order to speed up the evacuation process, the most recent being filed in November 2020. In response to Regavim’s latest petition, the High Court gave the state until July to demolish Khan al-Ahmar. Regavim did not respond to a request for comment.

A settler organization funded by taxpayers

Regavim was founded in 2006 by Bezalel Smotrich, a former member of Israel’s parliament and head of the Religious Zionist Party.

“[Regavim has] managed to make serious inroads into the Israeli political system,” Cody O’Rourke of the Good Shepherd Collective, a nonviolent grassroots resistance movement in the West Bank, said, referring to how Smotrich’s political party was able to secure six seats in March’s election.

“The Israeli military has to respond to Israeli politics,” O’Rourke continued. “So, having their co-founder now in the Knesset, they’re able to put the sort of pressure on the Israeli military and on the Israeli civil administration to push these people off their land.”

CDC says vaccinated people can take masks off indoors and outdoors

People who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can safely resume life without any restrictions, according to long-awaited federal guidance released Thursday.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), if you are fully vaccinated — two weeks past the last required COVID-19 vaccine dose — you don't need to wear masks indoors or outside, and you don't need to maintain physical distance.

"The science is clear: if you are fully vaccinated, you are protected, and you can start doing the things that you stopped doing because of the pandemic," the CDC said.

Essentially, for vaccinated people, life can begin to return to normal.

The new guidelines do not apply to health care settings, correctional facilities or homeless shelters, the agency said.

The CDC said fully vaccinated people should still wear well-fitted masks where required by laws, rules and regulations, including on airplanes, trains and public transportation.

The update comes as the agency has been criticized for being too slow to react to changing science, overly cautious and even contradictory in its recommendations to the public.

States across the country have been easing restrictions and reopening businesses as local vaccination rates increase, despite the CDC and federal health officials who continued to urge caution.

Health experts said they feared the agency's overly conservative approach could result in fewer people getting shots, if they failed to show the benefits of being vaccinated.

The agency relaxed some of its rules for fully vaccinated people last month, but still advised wearing masks indoors in most public settings, and in many outdoor places.

That guidance included an elaborate color-coded chart for various activities that was widely mocked for being confusing and contradictory.

The agency's recent guidance on summer camps was also panned as being overly restrictive.

The CDC said masks should be worn at all times, even outdoors, by everyone, including vaccinated adults and children as young as 2 years old.

Israel shuts Ben Gurion Airport to incoming flights; US airlines start canceling

Amid dangers posed by ongoing rocket fire from Gaza, arriving planes diverted to Ramon airport near Eilat; departures continue from Ben Gurion; US airlines begin canceling flights

In a bid to minimize the exposure of civilian air travel to rocket fire from the Gaza Strip, Israeli air officials said Thursday that incoming passenger flights would be diverted from Ben Gurion International Airport near Tel Aviv to Ramon Airport outside Eilat in the south.

Palestinian terrorists have fired waves of rockets at Israel over recent days, with some of the projectiles slamming into the central region of the country, where Ben Gurion Airport is located. No rockets have hit the sprawling terminus.

Under the new plan, passengers will disembark at Ramon, which opened in 2019. The empty planes will then fly to Ben Gurion to take on new passengers, and then depart from Ben Gurion to their destinations abroad.

The decision is meant to broaden the air corridor taken by passenger flights in and out of the country and to minimize the numbers of passenger-filled planes on the ground at any one place in order to lower the chances that rocket fire from Gaza will hit a plane.

Freight aircraft and private planes will still be allowed to land at Ben Gurion, an Israel Airports Authority spokesman said.

The development came as US airlines began canceling flights to Israel due to the rocket attacks.

United Airlines, American Airlines and Delta Airlines all said they were canceling flights to Tel Aviv, The New York Times reported Wednesday.

Tuesday flights from Newark and Chicago, as well Wednesday flights from San Francisco and Newark, were dropped by United Airlines. In a notification titled “Middle East Unrest,” it said it would waive change fees for flyers who had booked seats on planes either to or from Israel up until May 25.

American Airlines canceled a Wednesday flight from John F. Kennedy Airport in New York to Tel Aviv as well as a return flight on Thursday. It said in an update titled “Civil unrest — Tel Aviv” that it would waive cancellation fees under certain circumstances for those booked on flights until May 25, according to the report.

Bennett backs down from anti-Netanyahu gov't as Jewish-Arab riots grow

Bennett caved to pressure from the Right and decided that he will not form a government with Mansour Abbas, citing the recent violence.

Yamina leader Naftali Bennett surrendered to pressure from the Right to not form a government with Ra'am (United Arab List) head Mansour Abbas on Thursday, telling Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid the idea was off the table.

Lapid, who has a mandate to form a government until June 2, called a 9 p.m. press conference to respond.

Bennett cited the recent spate of violence between Arabs and Jews in mixed cities.

"I am removing the change government from the agenda," Bennett said. "A change government, with the makeup planned cannot deal with the problems in mixed cities. These are things that cannot be done when relying on Mansour Abbas."

Bennett said he was working on forming what he called a wide unity government with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, New Hope leader Gideon Sa'ar, Blue and White chairman Benny Gantz and Lapid. He said he opposed going to a fifth election in two and a half years.

Sources close to Bennett said he was pessimistic that such an agreement could be reached.

One idea raised by a source close to Bennett in a private conversation on Wednesday was a three-way rotation in the Prime Minister's Office: First Bennett for a year and a half, then Netanyahu for two years and then six months for Sa'ar.

Earlier Thursday, Bennett's number two in Yamina, MK Ayelet Shaked, called for bringing the IDF into mixed cities to restore order. Bennett endorsed the idea, knowing that it would prevent a coalition with Ra'am.

Abbas said in an interview with Army Radio on Thursday morning that the violence in the mixed cities should not end chances of forming a coalition that has the support of Jewish and Arab MKs. He told interviewers Udi Segal and Keren Marciano that he stopped coalition talks, because they would be inappropriate in such a sensitive time. But he said they would be restarted immediately after the escalation ends.

"I am not giving up on future cooperation," Abbas said. "It could be that these incidents emphasize the need for true partnership with understanding, initiating together."

Abbas went further, saying that a partnership of Jews and Arabs was "a goal in itself" and not merely "an instrument to something else." The Ra'am leader said "protests are legitimate" but must be done within the law and without harming anyone.

In an interview with Channel 12, Abbas said he would not rule out supporting direct elections for prime minister.

Election integrity revelation: Detroit bragged that use of Zuckerberg funding ‘created a new normal’

The Department of Elections reported that what it was most proud of in its allocation of its $7.4 million grant was that it "allowed us to hire more quality staff because we were able to pay them more."

In Detroit's report on the $7.4 million in grants it received from the Center for Tech and Civil Life (CTCL), a voter advocacy organization funded by Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, the city said that a new normal had been created with how the election was run in 2020.

"We created a new expectation for the public, because we significantly increased the number of ways [a] voter can vote," reported the city's Department of Elections in the CTCL grant report, obtained by Just the News through a Freedom of Information Act request.

"We have created a new normal in terms of how voters expect to vote in the City of Detroit," reads the report. "The funding structure established must be preserved for future elections. We are requesting grant funds for the current year."

The grant reporting form includes a questionnaire. One of the questions is: "What did you do with the CTCL COVID-19 Response grant funds that you're most proud of?"

Detroit responded that the grant funds "allowed us to hire more quality staff because we were able to pay them more."

The city reported that more than three-quarters of its CTCL grant money ($5.6 million of $7.4 million) was spent on the category "Poll worker recruitment funds, hazard pay, and/or training expenses."

In response to a question asking what Detroit would be able to do if its annual election budget was permanently doubled, the report said, "We are requesting additional Grant Fund assistance for the 2021 election cycle."

According to the grant report, Detroit spent $160,000 on ballot drop boxes and $200,000 on non-partisan voter education. While the total of all three CTCL grants was $7,436,450, the report from Detroit rounded it up to $7,440,000 in its allocation of funds.

The former Florida tax official who was originally at the center of a federal probe that led to GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz being investigated on sex-trafficking allegations is expended to plead guilty and enter a plea deal in the matter before his next trial date.

The former official, Joel Greenberg, is set to appear in federal court Monday, according to The Hill newspaper.

Top California Democrat and Think-Tank Titans Slated to Attend Chinese Communist Diplomacy Event

Event comes as officials warn China has ramped up influence efforts

The Democratic majority leader of the California state senate and officials from some of the United States's top foreign policy think tanks will speak this week at a forum organized by a group with close ties to the Chinese Communist Party.

The China Public Diplomacy Association, a group founded by China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will host the 2021 China-U.S. Public Diplomacy Summit in Beijing on Friday. The association, which has received little attention in the West, is led by several officials at Communist Party front groups. Robert Hertzberg, the majority leader of the California Senate, is slated to speak on a panel at the summit, as are scholars from the Brookings Institution, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Wilson Center, the Asia Society, and other prominent U.S. think tanks.

The forum comes as American officials sound the alarm about Beijing's foreign influence efforts. CIA director William Burns has warned that the Chinese government has ramped up its propaganda efforts by cultivating links to educational institutions and think tanks. The China-backed Confucius Institute, which is a member of the China Public Diplomacy Association, seeks to influence American students on college campuses.

"Every think tank, every university, every lawmaker, and every corporate executive should realize that meetings like these are influence operations orchestrated by the Chinese Communist Party intended to slowly undermine America," Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.), the top Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee, told the Washington Free Beacon about the summit.

Burns testified at his confirmation hearing on Feb. 24 that the Chinese government uses myriad front groups "to advance its soft power and pro-China propaganda through cultural and educational programs at U.S. academic institutions."

Burns spoke of his own experience as president of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, which he led from 2015 until his confirmation as America’s top spy. Burns told Rubio at his confirmation hearing that he ended Carnegie's relationship with a group called the Chinese-U.S. Exchange Foundation over concerns about its influence activities.

Douglas Paal, a top China scholar from Carnegie Endowment, is listed as a panelist at the summit.

The forum will be held in person at Renmin University in Beijing and streamed live on the internet. The itinerary does not say which American speakers will attend the event in person and which will attend virtually. One panelist, Daniel Schrag, will speak on a panel via Zoom, according to a spokesman for his think tank, Harvard University's Belfer Center. The other think tanks did not respond to requests for comment.

John L. Thornton, the global co-chairman of the Asia Society and the namesake of the Brookings Institution's China Center, is scheduled as a keynote speaker at the event, as is Stephen Lakis, the president of the State Legislative Leaders Foundation. Daniel Victor of the Brookings Climate Change Initiative and Jerrold Green of the Pacific Council on International Policy are also listed as panelists. Craig Allen, the president of the U.S.-China Business Council, will also speak at the forum.

Another panelist is Robert Daly, the director of the Wilson Center's Kissinger Institute on China. In May 2018, Rubio called on the Wilson Center to disclose that a participant in its event on China's influence efforts was a member of the United Front Work Department, a network of agencies and Chinese Communist Party apparatchiks that Beijing uses to influence Westerners.

Hamas Attacked Israeli Airport With Brand New ‘Heavy Rocket’

On May 13, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hams Movement, announced that it had attacked Ramon International Airport in southern Israel.

Abu Ubaida, a spokesman for the Palestinian faction, revealed in a statement that the Israeli airport, that’s located 220 kilometers away from Gaza, was targeted with a new heavy rocket dubbed “Ayyash-250”.

The new rocket was named after Yahya Ayyash, chief bombmaker of Hamas and the leader of the West Bank battalion of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, who was assassinated by Israel in 1996.

According to Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades spokesman, the new rocket has range of more than 250 kilometers and is armed with a heavy high-explosive warhead.

“We place the Ayyash-250 rocket in service and tell the enemy: your airports, and every point from north of Palestine to its south is within range of our rockets, and here is the next deterrent weapon flying in the sky of Palestine towards every target that we define and decide with the help of God,” the spokesman said.

Israeli sources confirmed that the rocket landed in the vicinity of Ramon International Airport. No losses were reported. However, the airport was closed.

A few minutes after the attack on Ramon, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades launched rockets at the Israeli capital Tel Aviv, the towns of Beersheba and Netivot as well as military bases in Tel Nof and Nevatim.

Palestinian Fighters Shelled Iron Dome Launcher, Radars East Of Gaza

On May 13, Palestinian factions targeted several components of the Israeli military’s Iron Dome air-defense system with rockets.

In the afternoon, the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, fired a barrage of rockets at an Iron Dome missile launcher situated near the town of Nir Yitzhak to the east of the Gaza Strip.

Nearly three hours after al-Quds Brigades’ attack, the military wing of the Hams Movement, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, shelled two EL/M-2084 detection and tracking radars of the Iron Dome east of Gaza with rockets.

Following the two attacks, a number of impacts and interception were reported. Nevertheless, no details were shared by officials in Israel.

Philippines Flags ‘Incursions’ by Nearly 300 Chinese Militia Boats

MANILA—The Philippines on Wednesday reported what it said were incursions into its exclusive economic zone (EEZ) by 287 maritime militia vessels from China, in a further sign of cracks reappearing in a relationship after a period of rapprochement.

“This incident along with continued illegal incursions of foreign vessels sighted near Philippine-held islands have been submitted to relevant agencies for the possible diplomatic actions,” the task force on the South China Sea said in a statement.

The Philippine foreign ministry has repeatedly complained to China in recent weeks about a “swarming and threatening presence” of Chinese vessels in its EEZ and has demanded they be withdrawn.

The Philippines has recently boosted its presence in the South China Sea through “sovereignty patrols,” in a show of defiance that critics say has been lacking under its pro-China president, Rodrigo Duterte, who has drawn domestic flak for his refusal to stand up to Beijing.

There was no immediate response to a request for comment from the Chinese embassy in Manila.

Experts say China’s fleet of fishing boats and coastguard are central to its strategic ambitions in the South China Sea, maintaining a constant presence that complicates fishing and offshore energy activities by other coastal states.

Chinese officials have previously denied there are militia aboard its fishing boats.

Duterte caused a stir last week when he said a landmark 2016 ruling by the Permanent Court of Arbitration that went in the Philippines’ favor in a dispute with China was just a “piece of paper” that he could throw in the trash.

The tribunal also ruled that China’s claims to almost the entire South China Sea, where about $3 trillion worth of ship-borne trade passes each year, had no legal basis.

Defense and security analyst Jose Antonio Custodio said Duterte’s comments “cancels-out” the tougher tone being taken with China by his top diplomats and defense chiefs.

“We don’t have unity in messaging,” Custodio said. “That is encouraging China’s actions.”

Crisis: Border Patrol Arrests Convicted Criminals; Heroin and Fentanyl Trafficking Soars, Pakistanis Nabbed at the Border

If you listen to Democrats and their media enablers, all of the individuals and groups illegally crossing the border are seeking asylum or just a better life. They’re escaping storms. They’re coming to the United States to do “jobs Americans won’t do.”

At least some of them are convicted criminals. Many are drug traffickers.

The U.S. Border Patrol Laredo Sector has made multiple arrests in the past 24 hours. Records checks of two of the individuals revealed serious criminal histories.

“Hector Daniel Martinez-Martinez, a 45-year old Mexican national, was one of seven undocumented individuals apprehended yesterday morning by Zapata Station agents after responding to a Zapata County Sheriff’s Office report of multiple undocumented individuals running through a residential area,” says the Border Patrol statement posted to Facebook. “Records checks on [Hector Daniel] Martinez-Martinez revealed an extensive criminal history to include a felony conviction for Sexual Assault of a 15-year old child in Houston, TX.”

A second man arrested in the Laredo area is a convicted murderer.

“Juan Manuel Ibarra-Gonzalez, a 42-year old Mexican national, was one of six undocumented individuals apprehended yesterday evening by Zapata Station agents,” the Border Patrol statement says. “The individuals were walking through ranchland property south of Zapata, Texas. Records checks on Ibarra-Gonzalez revealed an extensive criminal history to include a felony conviction for 2nd Degree Reckless Homicide in Milwaukee, WI.”

In both cases, the arrested criminals were among groups spotted moving through private property where American families live.

These are among the ones caught illegally crossing into the United States. Many are never caught at all; an estimated 6,000 cross illegally each day. There were 178,622 illegals apprehended in April 2021. This represents a 21-year high and follows the more than 100,000 apprehended in March.

Along with the arrests of illegal criminal crossers, Border Patrol reports sharp increases in heroin and fentanyl traffic across the border.

“Nationwide, drug seizures were up 6 percent in April from March 2021,” the Border Patrol reports. “Cocaine interceptions decreased 41 percent. Seizures of methamphetamine decreased 16 percent. Seizures of heroin increased 97 percent and seizures of fentanyl increased 34 percent. So far in Fiscal Year 2021, fentanyl seizures have already surpassed those from all of Fiscal Year 2020, with 6,494 through April 2021 compared to 4,776 for all of Fiscal Year 2020.”

Fentanyl is feeding the opioid addiction crisis that the Brookings Institute describes as the “deadliest drug epidemic in American history.” The vast majority of fentanyl and the chemicals used to manufacture it come to the United States from one source: China.
