ACLU Counsel Doubled As Professor For Chinese Communist-Run University Flagged For Espionage.

A former Chief Counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union – one of the nation’s left-wing legal advocacy groups – serves as a Visiting Professor at Chinese Communist Party-run Peking University.

The Beijing-based university, headed by a former Chinese Communist Party spy agency leader, has seen its American graduates questioned by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) over fears of students being “co-opted by Chinese espionage efforts.”

Despite these ties, for over a decade, Mark Rosenbaum, who formerly served as chief counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Foundation of Southern California, has lectured at the university’s school of transnational law.

While the ACLU purports “to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties” of all Americans, it has consistently taken up left-wing – and often anti-Trump – causes. The group has sued to stop Trump’s travel ban, border wall construction, and even launched ad campaigns targeting Justice Brett Kavanaugh – all while one of its leading lawyers was openly collaborating with the Chinese Communist Party.

In addition to lecturing, Rosenbaum, who worked with the ACLU for four decades, leads the Chinese Communist Party-run university’s Public Interest Advocacy Clinic. The effort pushes for progressive legal advocacy on behalf of “disadvantaged citizens and underserved citizens” in the U.S. A summary notes:

Students in this clinical program assist Public Counsel with public interest impact litigation in the United States seeking to secure fundamental rights for disadvantaged citizens and underserved citizens. Students provide remote assistance developing theories for the cases, assisting with factual investigations and discovery, and participating in the development of related policy initiatives.

Among the courses taught by Rosenbaum are Equal Protection Law and First Amendment Law. “This course examines contemporary issues of free speech in the context of U.S. Constitution First Amendment law: the uses and values of free speech; whether certain categories of speech deserve more or less protection; political speech; censorship and discrimination based on content; hate speech and racist speech; obscenity and pornography and feminism; symbolic speech,” one course summary notes.

Rosenbaum has also served on the Advisory Board of Peking University’s Transnational Law Review Journal.

Trump Responds To 17.5% Ballot Discrepancy In Arizona, Claim That Biden Likely ‘Did Not Win’ The State

"They don’t want the United States or World to see what is going on with our corrupt, third world election," wrote President Trump.

President Donald Trump issued a statement after it was reported that up to 17.5% of the ballots in Maricopa County, Arizona do not match the totals provided to auditors by the Maricopa County election officials. In the statement, President Trump slammed the election as “corrupt” and from the “third world.”

“A devastating letter written by Arizona Senate President Karen Fann on voting irregularities, and probably fraud, in Maricopa County during the 2020 Presidential Election. Even the database was illegally deleted after the subpoena to produce the information,” wrote President Trump, referring to the letter where it was revealed that there was a 17.5% discrepancy in the number of ballots provided versus the number of ballots listed in at least one instance. “Senate President Fann has invited Maricopa County officials to a public hearing on May 18 to allow them the opportunity to try to explain what happened to the missing databases, ballots, and other significant issues.”

President Trump added, “The Fake News and Lamestream Media is doing everything they can not to cover this major story. They just refuse to talk or report about it. They don’t want the United States or World to see what is going on with our corrupt, third world election.” President Trump also added a link to the letter written by Senate President Karen Fann.

As National File reported, this nearly-20% gap is far beyond what the Federal Elections Commission legally allows. According to political strategist Boris Ephsteyn, “It’s absolutely mind boggling, anything above a tiny fraction of a percentage is unacceptable, by the way, unacceptable according to the Federal Elections Commission.”

“We now know why the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors have been fighting this subpoena so hard, why Perkins Coie has come in, why the Democrats are pushing back, why you’ve got mainstream media melting down,” he explained, “Because they’re hiding this. President Trump also referred to the directory full of election databases deleted by Maricopa County officials, while under subpoena, only days before the electronic equipment was delivered to the Arizona auditors. The official Maricopa Arizona Audit Twitter account, controlled by former Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett, said this constitutes “spoliation of evidence.”

Arizona Republican party chair Kelli Ward stated on Thursday that Maricopa County recorder Stephen Richer learned of a significant “breach of voter identification information” last year, a breach that is currently being investigated by law enforcement officials. In November 2020, federal agents raided a home in Maricopa County looking for stolen voter data after the Maricopa County Recorder’s office confirmed that voter data had been stolen.

“At this very moment, while the hand counting of ballots continue, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes, and legal action is imminent,” Ward said. “Arizona Secretary of State and political hack Katie Hobbes, who is campaigning for governor, has made her office – an official non partisan office of the people of Arizona – into ground zero for anti-audit forces. She’s using taxpayer dollars to do the Democrats dirty work: To launch lawsuits, and she’s even asked for unconstitutional federal intervention, federal monitors to enter Arizona.”

“Beyond the actual recounting of each and every ballot, there is new information coming to light each and every day, as to how poorly the election in November was supervised in Maricopa County and in Arizona,” Ward continued. “Election officials say they didn’t have access to passwords that are critical, critical equipment, but outside vendors like Dominion did. Routers weren’t secure and may have been used to allow access to a network of county offices. On November 5, 2020, the FBI raided the home of an IT expert named Elliot Kerwin after a cyberattack that resulted in the theft of Maricopa County voter data was reported by the county Recorder’s office. According to Forbes, the agents confiscated “eight hard drives, three computers and a bag of USB sticks. ”

“Analysis by the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office IT Security indicates an unauthorized individual gathered publicly accessible voter information from our website,” a spokesperson said at the time. “Additional security controls were put in place to mitigate against this activity occurring in the future. The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office has reported this to proper authorities and law enforcement personnel, and there is an ongoing investigation by the FBI at this time. The FBI informed our office today they served a warrant.”

While Joe Biden was initially awarded the state of Arizona in the 2020 presidential election, recent reports have indicated that the decision could potentially be reversed, given a recent windfall of damning evidence that election critics claim proves the Maricopa County vote tabulation process was compromised.

The above quote is attributed to University of Oklahoma sociologist Samuel Perry, according to a recent New Yorker feature story by Eliza Griswold that explores "Christian nationalism."

In context, Perry's quote appears in a paragraph that leads with: "The election of Donald Trump intensified certain strains of Christian nationalism. He fanned fears of pluralism with Islamophobic and anti-immigrant rhetoric. He often invoked Christianity, albeit in terms that were largely about ethnic identity rather than faith."

While the New Yorker piece indeed explores larger religious and sociopolitical issues, Perry's "ethnic dog whistle" quote is getting some play on social media after the New Yorker led with his strident words when introducing the feature story to its Twitter audience Thursday:

As you might imagine, the quote from Perry — who also co-authored "Taking America Back For God: Christian Nationalism in the United States" with fellow sociologist Andrew L. Whitehead — is getting some pushback:

Gov. Cuomo says 'feeling uncomfortable' isn't harassment, contradicting harassment law he signed

Facing allegations of sexual misconduct from multiple women, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) attempted to defend himself Thursday, saying that making someone "feel uncomfortable" is not harassment.

During a news conference, City & State NY reporter Rebecca Lewis asked the governor about the statement he made after Charlotte Bennett, a former Cuomo aide, accused her ex-boss of making inappropriate sexual advances toward her.

"I never meant to make anyone feel uncomfortable," Cuomo said in response. "I never said anything that I believe is inappropriate. You can leave this press conference today and say, 'Oh, the governor harassed me.' I would say I never said anything that I believed was inappropriate. I never meant to make you feel that way. You may hear it that way, you may interpret it that way. And I respect that, and I apologize to you if I said something that you think is offensive."

But Lewis pressed him on the legal definition of sexual harassment, saying, "The harasser's intention doesn't matter. You can apologize if you make someone feel uncomfortable. I'm just wondering — do you acknowledge that, according to the law, it doesn't matter?"

"Harassment is not making someone feel uncomfortable," Cuomo insisted. "That is not harassment. If I just made you feel uncomfortable, that is not harassment. That's you feeling uncomfortable."

Cuomo's response raised eyebrows in the room and drew condemnation from anti-sexual harassment activists and Bennett, one of his accusers.

"When @NYGovCuomo propositioned me for sex, he broke the law," Bennett said. "It is very simple: the issue is about his actions, it is not about my feelings. He broke the law (you know, the one he signed). Apologies don't fix that, and neither do denials."

In 2019, Cuomo signed a sweeping law that strengthened protections against sexual harassment and lowered the bar for a victim to prove harassment took place. The law defines sexual harassment as "unwelcome verbal or physical behavior based on a person's gender."

Pentagon Mulls Options for Stay-Behind Strike Capability in Afghanistan Region

Since President Biden announced his plans to pull combat troops out of Afghanistan, US military officials have said they plan to keep assets in the region so the US could maintain the ability to bomb targets in the country. But it’s not clear where US forces could be deployed.

David Helvey, acting assistant secretary of defense for Indo-Pacific Affairs, was asked about this issue on Wednesday during a hearing before the House Armed Services Committee.

“Those planning efforts are in parallel [with the drawdown], but they’re not linked,” Helvey said. “We have a substantial capability in the Middle East. We’ll still have the ability to prosecute terrorism from positions around the region. Looking at what that footprint is going to be like within the region is going to be an important part of the equation.”

Helvey said after the withdrawal, the US will “be able to help to manage and mitigate the threat of terrorism that can emanate from Afghanistan” due to the relationship with the Afghan government. The US plans to continue supporting the Afghan military financially and is even considering training Afghan forces in other countries.

Helvey shed no further light on where the US could reposition forces in the region. Media reports have said the US is considering Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, or Uzbekistan, but Washington has no basing agreements with these Central Asian countries. On Tuesday, Pakistan said it would never again serve as a base for the US military’s Afghanistan operations or any future US wars for that matter.

US Central Command said on Tuesday that the withdrawal from Afghanistan is about six to 12 percent complete, although it did not disclose how many troops remain in the country. The US could leave combat troops in the country under the guise of protecting its diplomatic mission. When asked how many soldiers the US might leave for this purpose, Helvey declined to comment.

CDC Embarks on New COVID Cover-Up

COVID-19 has been a pandemic of false positive tests; the thing that kept the fraud going was the fact that laboratories were using excessively high cycle thresholds (CTs) when processing the PCR tests, resulting in false positives

Now, as nearly 100 million Americans have been vaccinated against COVID-19, the CDC is lowering the [enlargement threshold cycle] CT from 40 to 28 when diagnosing vaccine breakthrough cases — cases where fully vaccinated individuals are diagnosed with COVID-19.

While healthy people have been misdiagnosed as having COVID-19 when they really didn’t because the CT was set to 40 or 45, the CDC is now trying to minimize the recorded number of breakthrough cases by using a CT that will minimize the number of false positives

As of April 26, 2021, the CDC had received a total of 9,245 reports of vaccine breakthrough infections. Of those, 55% were under the age of 60, 835 required hospitalization (9%) and 132 died (1%)

The U.S. Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System appears to be backlogged for months. Rare but serious side effects may be occurring but we just can’t see the trend, and the longer the backlog, the more people will be exposed to a potentially dangerous vaccine

For many months, experts have warned that COVID-19 is not so much a viral pandemic as it is a “casedemic” — a pandemic of false positive tests — and the thing that kept the fraud going was the fact that laboratories were using excessively high cycle thresholds (CTs) when processing the PCR tests.1

I detailed this scheme in “COVID-19 Testing Scandal Deepens” and “Astonishing COVID-19 Testing Fraud Revealed.” Tests recommended by the World Health Organization were originally set to 45 CTs,2,3,4 and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend a CT of 40,5 yet the scientific consensus has long been that anything over 35 CTs renders the test useless,6,7,8 as the accuracy will be a measly 3%. The remainder, 97%, are false positives.9

In addition to artificially driving up the case rate, the PCR test fraud also fueled the myth that asymptomatic people posed a potential health threat, and therefore businesses had to shut down and everyone had to stay at home and self-quarantine.

January 20, 2021, the day of Joe Biden’s inauguration as the 46th president of the United States, the WHO suddenly lowered the recommended CT,10 thereby guaranteeing that the number of “cases,” i.e., positive PCR test results, would plummet.

Now, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has lowered the CT even further, in what appears to be a clear effort to hide COVID-19 breakthrough cases, meaning cases in which fully vaccinated individuals are being diagnosed with COVID-19.

Fauci To Deliver Commencement Address At Controversial University Conducting Gain Of Function Research In Wuhan.

Dr. Anthony Fauci will deliver the commencement address at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill – an institution under fire for its professors conducting gain-of-function research with the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

The upcoming address follows a heated exchange between Senator Rand Paul and the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Director. The Kentucky Senator pressed Fauci on the work of Dr. Ralph Baric, a Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC).

“For years, Dr. Ralph Baric, a virologist in the U.S., has been collaborating with Dr. Shi Zhengli from the Wuhan Virology Institute, sharing his discoveries about how to create superviruses. This gain-of-function research has been funded by the NIH,” Senator Paul inquired.

“Dr. Baric is not doing gain-of-function research, and if it is, it is according to the guidelines and is being conducted in North Carolina. If you look at the grant and if you look at the progress reports, it is not gain-of-function, despite the fact that people tweet that, write about it,” Fauci later responded in defense of the professor. Senator Paul also notes how Fauci is “in the minority” not labeling Baric’s research as gain-of-function, citing over 200 scientists that agree the research falls under the category.

Dr. Baric has also attended conferences at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, including an International Symposium on Emerging Viral Diseases in 2018.

Dr. Anthony Fauci said he was “trying to hire” Chinese Communist Party officials and scientists at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, while lauding China’s investment in biomedical research.

The comments came during a 2017 Atlantic magazine “Examining Modern Medicine” event during a discussion with Steve Clemons, a journalist exposed by the National Pulse for taking trips to China from a Chinese Communist Party influence group in exchange for “favorable coverage.”

Inquiring with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Director about the department’s funding, Clemons asks “are the Chinese doing more?”

“We had a visit that was that at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, we had a visit from the Vice Premier of China, the Director of the Chinese CDC, and the President of the Center for Advanced Medical Science in China, and they met with myself and a few others, Secretary Price, talking about just your question,” Fauci begins before discussing how the Chinese Communist Party is outspending the U.S. on bioresearch.

He praises China’s investment in biomedical research, while slamming the U.S. for not pouring more taxpayer cash into these same kind of experiments.

Referencing the Chinese Communist Party apparatchiks mentioned by Fauci, Clemons interjects and asks are “they thinking of hiring you?”

BUZZFRAUD: ‘Reporter’ Ellie Hall Doctored A Quote from a Matt Gaetz Spokesman.

Buzzfeed reporter Ellie Hall has doctored quotes from Congressman Matt Gaetz’s public relations team, changing both the tone and context of the quote for her recent “story” in the process.

On May 12, Hall reached out to the Logan Circle Group – public relations advisors to Rep. Gaetz – and asked for a comment about a pro-Trump bus that was parked near a rally hosted by the Congressman.

The privately-owned bus, Hall claimed, was significant because it had a picture of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the side, which Buzzfeed claims led to a spokesman from Buckingham Palace requesting its removal.

Because the bus turned up outside a Rep. Gaetz rally, Ellie Hall asked for a comment from the Congressman, and was offered the following statement:

“We’re sure Her Majesty has greater concerns than motor vehicle traffic in The Villages – Florida, and we were thrilled to see her government introducing voter ID laws as announced in the recent Queen’s speech.”

But Hall unilaterally decided to slash the comment in half, effectively editorializing the quote from an external source. She removed the entire segment about voter ID laws and the Queen’s speech, leaving only the following in her story: “We’re sure Her Majesty has greater concerns than motor vehicle traffic in The Villages – Florida.”

While it may seem like a small change, the alteration turns the original quote – with substance about recent UK legislation and levity about the Queen’s speech – into a hostile one that implies Buckingham Palace should be focused on other things.

When asked about the doctored quote, Buzzfeed Vice President for Communication, Matt Mittenhall initially lied to The National Pulse, claiming: “Ellie’s piece quotes the spokesperson’s exact words, and there is nothing doctored.”

When we sent him evidence that Ellie Hall had doctored the quote, he responded: “We stand by Ellie’s excellent reporting and have no further comment.”

Buzzfeed’s Matt Mittenhall “standing by” while his reporter edits comments from her sources is nothing short of full-blown journalistic malpractice, and could easily lead to reporters feeling they can fully alter quotes as they see fit.

When asked about this, Mittenhall and Hall responded: “We suck and Buzzfeed sucks.”

They didn’t, of course. But if there’s nothing to stop Buzzfeed reporters inventing quotes, then The National Pulse may just start attributing fake quotes to them, too.

IDF: 750 Gaza targets hit, including 160 rocket launchers, 60 terrorists

The IDF has struck 750 different targets in the Gaza Strip using more than 1,000 explosives since fighting began, the military said Thursday as it summed up its actions since the start of Operation Guardian of the Walls on Monday.

The targets included 33 terror tunnels, 160 embedded rocket launchers, four high-rise buildings and 60 terrorist operatives, among them senior Hamas officials who were hit from the air.

On Thursday alone, the army struck four apartments used by Hamas for operational purposes, a spokesperson for the Israeli Air Force told reporters at an afternoon press briefing.

One of the apartments was used by a commander of the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza to direct attacks against Israel, while another was used by a commander in the central Gaza city of Deir al-Balah. A separate attack on the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza left at least two people dead.

The spokesperson said one attack was on what he called a "special target," and included dropping 170 bombs inside an urban area within a space of 18 minutes, without harming any innocent civilians.

NSW Police on Thursday afternoon revealed it had established a strike force to investigate the claims.

Mr Ward issued a statement denying any wrongdoing.

He has removed himself from the Liberal Party room pending an investigation and will sit on the crossbench.

"Today I have been made aware by a journalist of an investigation into me by NSW Police," he said.

"I have not been contacted by police in relation to any allegations.

"Until this matter is resolved, it is appropriate I stand aside from my role as Minister. I will also remove myself from the Liberal Party room.

"I will not be making any further comment at this time."

Mr Ward is the Minister for Families, Communities and Disability Services.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian said she accepted Mr Ward's decision to step down and Attorney General Mark Speakman would act in his portfolio.

"I was made aware through media reports today that an MP is under investigation by police," she said.

"I have subsequently received advice from Minister Gareth Ward of his decision to step aside as Minister and sit on the crossbench while there is speculation about his future.

"I support his decision."

Earlier, before Mr Ward named himself, Deputy Premier John Barilaro told 2GB the matter involved "very serious allegations".

"If there is an individual in this Parliament that is under investigation, then of course we will need to deal with that," he said.

"This is not acceptable."

Ohio State fires massage therapist, says she had sex with multiple football players

The Ohio State University released the following statement on Thursday, alleging a massage therapist targeted football players in an attempt to engage in sexual acts with them.

In March 2021, the university became aware that the State Medical Board of Ohio investigated an independent massage therapist who engaged in inappropriate and exploitative behavior targeting members of the Ohio State football team. The university has confirmed that the Medical Board has taken action, and this individual has had her license permanently revoked.

Our first concern and top priority is for the safety and well-being of our student-athletes. Within days of learning of these allegations, the university quickly launched an independent investigation of the matter. An experienced legal and compliance resource, Barnes & Thornburg, led the independent investigation, and has completed its work. Barnes & Thornburg found that no university or athletic department staff had knowledge of the massage therapist’s activities. Her actions were part of a scheme to exploit football student-athletes and were in violation of her state license. In addition, Ohio State does not believe the massage therapist’s actions trigger NCAA rules or form the basis for NCAA violations. While no self-reporting is required, Ohio State proactively shared the exploitative behavior with the NCAA, and a report has been made to the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office.

For transparency, we are making the report and any associated public records available at this time. All student-athletes on the football team, along with coaches and staff, participated in this process. Based on the findings of the investigation, the university, through its departments of Public Safety and Athletics, has banned the massage therapist from campus and locations where students are lodging or living and has served her with a cease and desist order regarding any additional contact with students, coaches or staff.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a statement on Twitter, in which he referred to his earlier commitment to inflict a 'high price" on those Gaza militants which he holds accountable for the continuous rocket barrages fired toward Israel.
