You're not being nearly as sneaky as you think you are. You glow because the type of questioning you're promoting is designed to sow division and suspicion, with no perceivable positive outcome.
If they are indeed as untrustworthy as you imply, they can lie very easily, and nothing is gained.
If they are honest however, you would have convinced two good people to doubt and antagonize each other.
