How does a controlled NK suddenly get turned by Trump? Don't get me wrong, I think he's good. Great even, but this seems like something else brought NK to heel here.

I think they gave NK nuclear weapons some time ago, and set them up as a distribution channel for the selling of nuclear fuel - a franchise, if you will, that may be partially based of drug trade models. Trump cut the supply of nuclear fuel. This leaves NK the choice of die a slow death, or make a deal.

Backing out of the Iran deal seems to be the beginnings of the same process there as well. The difference being this deal is being ended in it's early stages. NK has been a nuclear fuel distributor for some time, but Iran was just getting ramped up. A start up franchise, so to speak.

Things like NK being controlled, and the Iran deal need motive explained. While they are evil, unlike movie villains, they need proper motivation for their actions. It doesn't get much more profitable than selling nuclear fuel, and there are fingerprints of it everywhere.

Just a thought
