Bought a new one, this time it was black.
Sanitized it.
Then made coffee, tow separate times - coffee reeked and tasted like plastic/petroleum.
Returned it. based on blackness.
Got a cheaper white one.
Made coffee, smells and tastes great.
Am I racist?
and the return lady was black.
She said it was impossible that it was because the kettle was black.

Probably an older model, I used to have black too, in the past.
I just think that the chinks use spent petroleum to make their coffee pots these days - if they can hide it - because it's black.
