This Week in Campus Insanity Vol. 44

Welcome back to Campus Insanity, a weekly roundup of the craziest developments at our nation's 4,000-plus institutions of "higher education."

  1. Penn State Nixes Labels Such As ‘Freshman,' ‘Junior,' and ‘Senior,' Citing Lack of Gender Inclusivity | Daily Wire

Faculty at Pennsylvania State University approved an "inclusive language" measure to remove gendered words from university documents. Penn State "has grown out of a typically male-centered world," according to a faculty resolution, which said terms like "freshman" are "parallel to Western male father-son naming conventions."

  1. LSU Names New President Who Has Long History of Critical Race Theory Publications | Campus Reform

Dr. William F. Tate IV is set to take the helm of Louisiana State University in July. The former provost of the University of South Carolina wrote articles promoting critical race theory—the idea that America is inherently racist—in the 90s. Tate attributes educational achievement disparities to "institutional and structural racism" and claimed that "students of color are more segregated than ever before."

  1. Student Government Resolution Targets Christian Charity That Urges Pregnant Women to Choose Life | The College Fix

Colorado State University's student government proposed a resolution that would ban the Alpha Center—a pro-life nonprofit that provides free pregnancy testing and ultrasounds to women—from advertising services on campus. One student senator compared the organization's work to "oppression and colonization" in a meeting discussing the measure.

  1. Students Launch Communist Club at Columbia University | The College Fix

A group of students at Columbia University launched "Columbia Communists," an organization dedicated to "leftist discussion" and "mutual aid." The group's logo is a modified version of Columbia's crown emblem, topped with a hammer and sickle.

  1. Three UMass Students Suspended After Taking Photo Outdoors Without Masks | Campus Reform

The University of Massachusetts Amherst reportedly suspended three freshman students and blocked them from taking their final exams because they posted a picture of themselves outdoors without their masks on. The school's hockey team, however, was allowed to celebrate its national championship victory earlier this year, video of which shows several members of the team without masks.

  1. Michigan Student Government Uses Hamas Attacks to Push Anti-Israel BDS Movement | Washington Free Beacon

In a letter Tuesday, student leaders at the University of Michigan condemned the school for its "complicity in Israel's violence" and advocated for the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement. Michigan's Central Student Government criticized Israel in the letter for defending itself against terrorist rocket fire. Hamas militants launched more than 1,750 rockets toward Israel over the past week, killing at least seven. Israel's targeted counterstrikes have killed several dozen terrorists and taken out weapons caches in the Gaza Strip.

Gretchen Whitmer Uses Nonprofit ‘Social Welfare’ Funds for ‘Personal’ Florida Private Jet Trip

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s (D) office claimed Friday a so-called dark money 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization paid for her secret trip to Florida in March.

When the trip became public in April, Whitmer and her aides steadfastly claimed it was “personal” in nature, a trip to visit her ailing father.

“I’ve said everything I am going to say about my trip to go check on my father,” Whitmer told a 9&10 News journalist when questions persisted. “It was a quick trip. It was an important family reason for doing it. And I have nothing to add.”

“I showed up when I was needed. I did a lot of cooking, a lot of cleaning,” Whitmer said this week.

“When you’re the governor of Michigan, you’re always on the clock, but it does not mean that you’re not also a daughter who shows up when a family member needs her,” she said.

But late Friday, Whitmer’s office claimed her 501(c)(4) organization, Executive Office Account, paid for the flight. Her office said it cost $27,521, and she reimbursed it $855 for her personal seat. It is not clear how either entity arrived at those figures.

Whitmer repeatedly claimed the trip was strictly personal business, which would not allow her to use nonprofit funds for that activity, Michigan Rising Action said after the news broke.

“501(c)(4) groups are social welfare organizations and are not allowed to pay for personal expenses for officials,” the group — itself a 501(c)(4) group — said in a news release.

If Whitmer had a legal justification for using the nonprofit funds for the trip, it would indicate she did other things in Florida besides tend to her father’s alleged needs.

“Today’s revelations that Whitmer’s non-profit paid for her personal trip to Florida is shady and makes it clear why she tried to hide the trip and cover up who paid,” Tori Sachs, Michigan Rising Action’s executive director, said Friday.

“Either Whitmer’s Florida trip was for a legitimate 501(c)(4) purpose, in which case the c4 could pay for it, or it was personal, in which case a c4 can’t pay for it. Whitmer’s personal use of her 501(c)(4) account funds must be investigated.”

That would have to be done by the Internal Revenue Service, which regulates c4 organizations.

Whitmer still has not divulged who else was on the two-hour flight to Florida.

Arizona 2020 election audit allegedly finds deleted data, unsecured ballots, missing chain of custody

The Republican audit of Maricopa County, Arizona 2020 election ballots has already turned up "three serious issues."

According to a letter from Karen Fann, President of the Arizona State Senate, sent to the Maricopa Board of Supervisors, the county continues to flout valid, legislative subpoenas, refusing to hand over virtual images of routers. The county has also allegedly failed to provide the passwords necessary to access vote tabulation devices for the audit.

"…attorneys for Maricopa County have refused to produce virtual images of routers used in connection with the general election."

Karen Fann, Arizona Senate President

A second issue flagged by the audit has to do with "anomalies" in chain of custody processes for ballots. The letter says the county has yet to provide chain of custody documentation, bags storing the ballots were not sealed, batch dividers are missing, and ballot boxes were sealed with regular tape rather than tamper evident seals.

The third issue mentioned is the alleged deletion of "the entire 'Database' directory from the D drive of the machine 'EMSPrimary'.” That would mean subpoenaed data has been removed. According to the audit, there is also evidence that the "main database for all election related data for the 2020 General Election has been removed."

Arizona is one of several important states where Donald Trump enjoyed an initial lead, only to have it disappear as questioned mail-in, dropbox, and absentee votes were counted.

The vast majority of votes cast in Arizona, 2.1 million of nearly 3.4 million ballots, were cast in Maricopa County.

According to the official tally, Biden beat Trump by 10,457 votes, or 0.3 percent.

Over 70,000 more people voted in Maricopa County in 2020 than in 2016.

Joe Biden is only the second Democrat to win Arizona in 70 years.

In not turning over the routers, Maricopa County officials have said that providing them would “endanger the lives of law enforcement officers, their operations, or the protected health information and personal data of Maricopa County’s citizens." The county has also said that producing the internet routers for inspection would cost up to six million dollars.

Governments Around The World Offer Extravagant Bribes In Desperate Effort To Increase COVID Vaccine Uptake

convince the public to take the jab is in full effect.

In early March, CNN reported that “Whole towns are refusing Covid-19 vaccines in Mexico”, profiling two of more than a dozen municipalities which have rejected COVID-19 shots for one reason or another. CNN reported on statements made by residents of Aldama and San Juan Cancuc, small indigenous towns located in the central highlands of the Mexican state of Chiapas.

“Why would I get vaccinated? I’m not sick. It wouldn’t be good if they tried to force us to get vaccinated. I don’t know,” María Magdalena López Santís, an Aldama resident, told CNN.

The indigenous communities of Mexico (and many Mexicans in general) have a history of mistrusting the federal government. After generations of being ignored or colonized, the communities are largely autonomous and operate under their own rule of law. It is this history which has caused several communities in Chiapas and other parts of Mexico to reject the COVID-19 shots altogether.

Of course, CNN reports that “a lack of information and conspiracy theories that have spread in the region like wildfire are to blame for vaccine hesitancy.” Aldama’s town secretary Tomás López Pérez told CNN that because his people “don’t really know what vaccines are made of, we believe that they contain the [Covid-19] virus and that’s the main reason why people don’t want to get vaccinated.”

On February 1st, José López López, mayor of San Juan Cancuc, released a letter to State health authorities detailing why his town would not accept the COVID shot. López López said the people of San Juan Cancuc will, in fact, reject all vaccines from the Mexican state.

The Chiapas State Health Department has stated that it will respect the autonomy of the indigenous populations.

I recently traveled to San Juan Cancuc to find out for myself why these indigenous communities are rejecting the shots. The indigenous of San Juan Cancuc speak a specific dialect of the indigenous Tseltal language known as San Juan Cancuc Tseltal. With the help of a local man interpreting from English to Spanish and Spanish to Tseltal I was able to communicate with members of the San Juan Cancuc council. Although they would not speak on camera without José López López being present, they shared a wealth of information regarding how their community has been responding to COVID-19.

For starters, the council of San Juan Cancuc said they had seen zero COVID-19 cases in their community. They also said the town never enforced masks or social distancing. The council stated that they have their own methods for healing the sick that do not align with the Mexican government’s policies.

Texas passes 'heartbeat' anti-abortion bill that would ban all terminations after just SIX WEEKS and allow pro-life activists around the US to sue doctors

Texas lawmakers passed a bill on Thursday that would ban all abortions after six weeks - before many women even know they are pregnant - and allow private citizens to enforce the rule by suing doctors.

The state Senate vote sends the bill to Republican Gov. Greg Abbott, who is expected to sign it into law. That would bring Texas in line with about a dozen other GOP-led states that have passed so-called 'heartbeat bills' that federal courts have mostly blocked.

The Texas measure is also likely to draw a swift legal challenge from abortion rights groups.

The bill would ban abortions after the first detection of an embryonic 'heartbeat.' Advanced technology can detect an electric signal flutter as early as six weeks into a pregnancy, even though the embryo isn't yet a fetus and doesn't have a heart.

An embryo is termed a fetus beginning in the 11th week of pregnancy, medical experts say.

A unique provision in the Texas bill prohibits state officials from enforcing the ban. Instead, it allows anyone, even someone outside Texas, to sue a doctor or anyone else who may have helped someone get an abortion after the time limit, and seek financial damages of up to $10,000 per defendant.

FBI HIT PIECE??

Husband accused of killing missing mom Suzanne Morphew cast a fraudulent vote on her behalf for Trump: Told FBI 'she would have voted for him and everyone was cheating in the election anyway'

The husband suspected of killing missing Colorado mother Suzanne Morphew has now been charged with voter fraud after he submitted a mail-in ballot voting for President Trump in his wife's name five months after she vanished.

Barry Morphew, 53, was arrested last week on suspicion of murdering his 49-year-old wife after she vanished near their home in Poncha Springs in southern Colorado on Mother's Day in 2020.

Morphew, who is already being held without bail, has now been charged with forgery over the mail-in ballot he allegedly submitted in his wife's name for last year's election.

A Chaffee County Clerk had alerted authorities in October last year that they had received a voting ballot in Suzanne's name even though she was missing.

The ballot was submitted five months after Suzanne, a mother of two adult daughters, went missing. Her body still has not been found.

Authorities say the ballot did not have Suzanne's signature on it but listed her husband as a witness.

When questioned by an FBI agent in April over the ballot, Morphew said he submitted it because he 'wanted Trump to win'.

'I know she (Suzanne) was going to vote for Trump anyways,' he allegedly told the agent.

'I figured all these other guys are cheating,' he said, adding he thought he would 'give him another vote'.

Morphew allegedly said he didn't know submitting a ballot on behalf of a spouse was illegal.

'I didn't know you couldn't do that for your spouse,' he said.

It is not clear whether Morphew filed the ballot because he wanted Trump to win or to make it appear as though his wife was still alive.

Morphew was taken into custody on May 5 on charges of first-degree homicide, tampering with evidence and attempting to influence a public servant in relation to his wife's disappearance.

Zio Media pretends Hamas Struck out of the blue for no reason

Mass Media pretends Hamas Struck out of the blue for no reason. You will not find a talking head that is not blaming Palestinians for initiating the violence. The state supported colonization, theft of private property, and shootings all by the Israelis are ignored. Israel shot a 16 year old boy twice in the back on May 5th and then held him while he bled out for 15 minutes before allowing the Red Crescent access to him. They also shot at his friend, who was another teenager. Two days prior on May 3rd the IDF murdered a 60 year old mother. They claimed she was trying to stab them but video evidence shows otherwise.

Over 500 people were injured including a 1 year old baby in two separate attacked by Israeli police on Palestinian Muslims trying to go to Mosque. 83 were beaten or shot to the point of hospitalization.

The escalation began in Jerusalem during the month of Ramadan, in a series of provocations carried out by the Israeli occupation authorities.

The first in this series was the decision to prevent Palestinians from gathering at Bab al-Amoud (Damascus Gate) in Jerusalem in late April. This sparked a series of protests which eventually forced Israel to rescind the order.

Another – ongoing – provocation, which drew some international attention, is the expulsion orders pending against Palestinian families from their homes in Sheikh Jarrah that Israeli courts have granted to Israeli settlers.

A third Israeli provocation was the storming of al-Aqsa mosque during prayers on the morning of Friday, 7 May. Israeli forces fired tear gas and rubber-coated metal bullets onto worshippers, resulting in over 200 injuries.

In a fourth provocation, settlers announced that on 10 May they would march through Jerusalem to celebrate what they term Jerusalem Day. The intention was to march near al-Aqsa mosque.

This march escalated into a fifth provocation on the morning of 10 May as, for the second time in a week, Israeli forces stormed al-Aqsa, attacking worshippers praying inside and ransacking the sacred site. More than 300 Palestinians were injured.

After all of that as well as the normal ongoing annexation, occupation and blockade, only then did Hamas respond. Israel knows this too, and they know they need something for PR purposes. Maybe that is why they have been posting fake videos from Syria and tiktok to justify the attack on Gaza.
