"We will also continue to listen more, learn more and do more to promote a culture in which every person feels that they belong, are respected and are valued in Scouting, in their community and across America," adding that it will review the names of everything in their organization, including any and all insignia, to "ensure that symbols of oppression are not in use today or in the future."

Diversity training will also now be mandator for all employees of the organization, with another version forthcoming for volunteers as well, and a "specific diversity and inclusion merit badge" has now been made a requirement in order to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. This badge will "require scouts to learn about and angage with the other groups and cultures to increase understanding and spur positive action".

"As a movement, we are committed to working together with our employees, volunteers, youth members, and communities so we can all become a better version of ourselves and continue to prepare young people to become the leaders of character our communities and our country need to heal and grow," concludes the statement.

The Boy Scout organization itself doesn't exactly have an untarnished past when it comes to issues such as racism and homophobia. They didn't integrate until the 1970s. Gay kids were banned from the organization all the way up to the year 2014. In fact, individual councils are still allowed to discriminate in terms of which adults are allowed to take part in the organization.

The Scouts have also been embroiled in historical and recent sexual assault scandals, to the tune of a whopping 7,800 leaders and 12,000 scouts being involved over several decades. Also, the organization has fallen on financial hard time, and even had to file for bankruptcy last year.

One Killed, Six Injured In Ramming Attack On Israeli Police Post (Videos)

On May 16, six Israeli police officers were injured as a result of a ramming attack in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in eastern Jerusalem.

A video of the attack shows a car ramming the officers who were gathered under an umbrella in one of Sheikh Jarrah main streets. The attacker, a Palestinian, was shot and killed on the spot by the Israeli Police. It remains unclear if he was armed.

According to Israeli sources, at least one of the injured officers is receiving treatment for moderate wounds in Shaarei Zedek hospital. The injures of the other officers were described as minor.

The attack was praised by Abu Ubaida, a spokesman for the military wing of the Hamas Movement, who described it as a “heroic operation”.

“We praise the daring heroic operation in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, which proves that the spirit of the revolution and motivation to resist the occupation is rooted in the heroes of our people in Jerusalem,” the spokesman said in a brief statement.

The Israeli Police stepped up its security measures in Sheikh Jarrah earlier this month, when the neighborhood’s Arab residents protested against government plans to forcible evict some of them.

The protests sparked a heated battle in the Gaza Strip. Palestinian factions launched dozens of rockets at Jerusalem to warn the Israeli government against evicting Arabs from Sheikh Jarrah. The Israeli military responded with a large-scale military operation.

Israel’s operation in Gaza has claimed the lives of more than 190 Palestinians, so far. The heated battle will not likely end soon. Many in Israel are warried that the operation in Gaza is threatening stability in the country. Today’s attack in Sheikh Jarrah may be the first of many.

Adding global insult to injury, in February 2021, Shibo Jiang was elected to the American Academy of Microbiology.

Shibo Jiang, now Professor and Director, Institute of Medical Microbiology at China’s Fudan University in Shanghai, obtained his MS and MD degrees from the First and the Fourth Medical University of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA).

Between 1987 and 1990, he received his postdoctoral training at the Rockefeller University in New York, largely through HIV AIDS funding provided by Dr. Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).

For nearly twenty years afterward, Shibo Jiang worked in or has been associated with the Lindsley F. Kimball Research Institute of the New York Blood Center.

He developed an extensive network of collaborative research with other major U.S. virus research laboratories and received more than $17 million in U.S. research grants, the vast majority coming from Fauci’s NIAID.

During that entire period, Shibo Jiang maintained extensive collaborative research with PLA laboratories, described in detail here, while simultaneously inviting into his U.S. laboratory and training scientists linked to the Chinese military.

After the onset of the November 2002 SARS pandemic originating in Foshan, Guangdong, China, the PLA, and Shibo Jiang would play an outsized role in human coronavirus research.

Much of the work focused on the junction of the S1 and S2 segments of the spike protein and how it was cleaved by human enzymes as an initiator of virus entry into human cells.

Those studies would eventually lead to a smoking gun, revealing the laboratory origin of COVID-19.

FBI releases documents on Seth Rich’s murder

When DNC staffer Seth Rich was murdered in 2018, the mainstream press reported that his death might have stemmed from a botched robbery in which nothing was taken, but the newly released FBI files on Rich allude to something different.

According to the FBI files, top officials from the Department of Justice met to discuss why Rich may have been gunned down in front of his D.C. home while walking back from a local bar intoxicated.

The files suggest that someone may have paid for Rich’s murder, even though the mainline press denied any allegations of such a scenario. Not to mention, someone took Rich’s laptop after his death.

Attorneys have now requested over one thousand FBI documents about the matter, but it is unknown if the bureau will comply with the requests.

Additionally, it is important to note that Roger Stone and Dr. Jerome Corsi’s names also appear in the files. The FBI appears to have been concerned with Stones’ conversations with Republican campaign consultant Paul Manafort and Corsi’s potential contact with Wikileaks frontman Julian Assange. Agents with the bureau searched Corsi’s computers.

40,000 Illegal 'Got-Aways' Crossed the Border in April

Last month, there were more than 173,000 illegal aliens detained at our southern border. If they were unaccompanied children, they were allowed to stay in a DHS shelter for a few days until room opened in another shelter run by HHS. If they were families with children, they got even luckier. Chances are very good they were released into the United States with a slip of paper with a court date written on it.

But in addition to those detained, there were at least 40,000 “got aways” at the border. Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) revealed the shocking fact at a Senate hearing this past week and DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas did not dispute it.

A “known got away” is “an unlawful border crosser who is directly or indirectly observed making an unlawful entry into the United States” who is not apprehended and who does not turn back into Mexico.

Once they get a few miles from the border, these got-aways are pretty much free and clear of any border patrol action.

Of course, that number doesn’t include the thousands of illegals who enter the U.S. completely under the radar. Earlier this month, police pulled over a semi truck carrying 50 illegals and the passengers scooted away. Most of them were eventually caught but how many semi-trucks coming over the border every month with illegals make it through without being detected? There are a dozen ways that coyotes bring their customers across the border and avoid detection. That 40,000 number is only a fraction of the got-aways.

These aren’t people who are seeking asylum (if they were, they would turn themselves in). Rather, as Portman put it: “We have no idea who these individuals are.” As saliently, the United States and DHS have no idea where they are from, where they are going, or what their intentions are.

Keep in mind that the more than 40,000 got-aways in April were in addition to more than 173,000 migrants that agents at the Southwest border did apprehend last month, a 21-year high.

And, to give you some perspective, the more than 40,000 got-aways last month are almost as many aliens as Border Patrol actually did apprehend at the Southwest border in the first three full months — February to April — of the Trump administration (February to April 2017, 42,076), combined.

New DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas does not have a handle on the situation — neither the people nor the drugs pouring across the border.

2 Chicago Police Officers and a Suspect Shot on the City’s West Side

Two Chicago police officers were shot on the west side of the city Sunday morning and have been released from the hospital, and the suspected gunman was also shot, according to the Chicago Police Department.

Police Superintendent David Brown said officers responded to a ShotSpotter gunshot detection alert and calls of shots fired on South Lawndale Avenue after 7 a.m. CT. Two officers arrived and saw a man in a vacant alley nearby, and as they approached, the man turned and began firing at the officers, Brown said.

“This offender had no regard for their position as police officers—no regard—and began trying to kill them,” he said.

One officer was struck in the hand, and another was struck in the leg and in the shoulder above his vest, Brown said.

One officer returned fire, hitting the man in the leg, police said in a statement. The man was then placed into custody, and a weapon was recovered, police said.

Both officers—who were in uniform—were taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, Brown said. The suspect is recovering in stable condition at a separate hospital, he said.

It was the 29th time in 2021 that a Chicago officer has been shot or shot at by a suspect, Brown said. Today marks the fifth and sixth time an officer has been shot in 2021, he said.

“Thankfully none of the injuries were life threatening,” Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot said Sunday morning. “It underscores the danger that our men and women in the police department face every single day. They run to danger to protect us. And we can’t ever forget that.”

City crime data shows there have been 865 shooting incidents in Chicago as of May 2 this year, a 33 percent increase over last year’s total at this same point.

Amid ongoing global vaccination efforts, the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine has stood out for its side effects, with health authorities around the world reporting dozens of cases of potentially lethal blood clots in the brain. Dozens of nations have temporarily restricted the jab’s use, or issued updated guidelines for the preparation’s use.

Princess Michael of Kent has been ill for a month and is suffering from blood clots after getting her two doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, The Sun reports, citing a source close to the princess.

“The princess has been unwell and has sought medical attention. It has been a worrying time for those around her. It has been difficult for those close to her to see her suffering. She’s really been through it,” the source said.

The princess, 76, is married to Prince Michael of Kent, 78, a paternal first cousin to Queen Elizabeth II.

She already battled with Covid in November, self-isolating at Kensington Palace in West London after feeling “extreme fatigue and terrible fevers”. She had apparently caught the bug from a housekeeper. Her diagnosis came after Prince Charles and Prince William also said that they had contracted Covid last year.

Earlier this month, British health authorities urged people under 40 to be provided with an alternative to the Oxford-AstraZeneca preparation as a precaution “where practically possible” due to blood clot fears.

The Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine has received full authorisation in Australia and Brazil, and emergency authorisation in most of Europe, including Britain, much of Latin America, Africa, Iran, India and other Asian nations. The vaccine’s use was permanently suspended in Norway and Malaysia, and temporarily halted in multiple European countries in March after dozens of reports of complications involving blood clots. South Africa, Canada and Indonesia also temporarily halted use for safety reviews before giving it the all clear, citing the “rare” chance of severe complications.

Australia revised its vaccination guidelines for AstraZeneca’s Covid preparation last month, recommending that it not be used by people under the age of 50. The United States’ Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulator has yet to approve the vaccine. Last week, US media that a US pharmaceuticals factory producing AstraZeneca jabs for export may have compromised as many as 70 million Johnson & Johnson vaccine doses, also mostly for export, after contaminating them with ingredients used in AstraZeneca’s formula.

History: Israel’s Move to Destroy the Palestinian Authority Is a Calculated Plan, Long in the Making

In mainstream political discourse, Israel's recent atrocities are described as 'retaliatory acts' - answering the last wave of terror attacks on Israeli civilians. But in fact, this 'retaliation' had been carefully prepared long before.

Already in October 2000, at the outset of the Palestinian uprising, military circles were ready with detailed operative plans to topple Arafat and the Palestinian Authority. This was before the Palestinian terror attacks started. (The first attack on Israeli civilians was on November 3, 2000, in a market in Jerusalem). A document prepared by the security services, at the request of then PM Barak, stated on October 15, 2000 that “Arafat, the person, is a severe threat to the security of the state [of Israel] and the damage which will result from his disappearance is less than the damage caused by his existence”. (Details of the document were published in Ma’ariv, July 6, 2001.) The operative plan, known as ‘Fields of Thorns’ had been prepared back in 1996, and was then updated during the Intifada. (Amir Oren, Ha’aretz, Nov. 23, 2001). The plan includes everything that Israel has been executing lately, and more.(1)

The political echelon for its part (Barak’s circles), worked on preparing public opinion to the toppling of Arafat. On November 20, 2000, Nahman Shai, then public-affairs coordinator of the Barak Government, released in a meeting with the press, a 60 page document titled “Palestinian Authority non-compliance… A record of bad faith and misconduct”,

The document, informally referred to as the “White Book”, was prepared by Barak’s aid, Danny Yatom.(2) According to the “White Book”, Arafat’s present crime – “orchestrating the Intifada”, is just the last in a long chain of proofs that he has never deserted the “option of violence and ‘struggle'”.

“As early as Arafat’s own speech on the White House lawn, on September 13, 1993, there were indications that for him, the D.O.P. [declaration of principles] did not necessarily signify an end to the conflict. He did not, at any point, relinquish his uniform, symbolic of his status as a revolutionary commander” (Section 2). This uniform, incidentally, is the only ‘indication’ that the report cites, of Arafat’s hidden intentions, on that occasion.

A large section of the document is devoted to establishing Arafat’s “ambivalence and compliance” regarding terror.

“In March 1997 there was once again more than a hint of a ‘Green Light’ from Arafat to the Hamas, prior to the bombing in Tel Aviv… This is implicit in the statement made by a Hamas-affiliated member of Arafat’s Cabinet, Imad Faluji, to an American paper (Miami Herald, April 5, 1997).”

No further hints are provided regarding how this links Arafat to that bombing, but this is the “green light to terror” theme which the Military Intelligence (Ama”n) has been promoting since 1997, when its anti-Oslo line was consolidated. This theme was since repeated again and again by military circles, and eventually became the mantra of Israeli propaganda – Arafat is still a terrorist and is personally responsible for the acts of all groups, from Hamas and the Islamic Jihad to Hizbollah.

The ‘Foreign Report’ (Jane’s information) of July 12, 2001 disclosed that the Israeli army (under Sharon’s government) has updated its plans for an “all-out assault to smash the Palestinian authority, force out leader Yasser Arafat and kill or detain its army”. The blueprint, titled “The Destruction of the Palestinian Authority and Disarmament of All Armed Forces”, was presented to the Israeli government by chief of staff Shaul Mofaz, on July 8. The assault would be launched, at the government’s discretion, after a big suicide bomb attack in Israel, causing widespread deaths and injuries, citing the bloodshed as justification.

NIH established a “public health emergency” loophole, enabling Chinese scientists to exploit moratorium on gain-of-function coronavirus research

At a May 11 Senate hearing, Dr. Rand Paul interrogated Dr. Anthony Fauci on the role of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in advancing coronavirus gain-of-function research. As director of the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) at the NIH, Dr. Fauci tried to dissociate the NIH, its director, Dr. Francis Collins, and himself from having any connection to coronavirus gain-of-function research. A moratorium was placed on this unethical virus experimentation in 2014, but the NIH established a loophole in the moratorium, allowing American and Chinese scientists a way to continue these dangerous virus, animal, and human experiments.

Dr. Fauci adamantly asserted in the Senate hearing that the NIH had no involvement in this dangerous medical experimentation, even though the NIH approved and funded this research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology through grants dispersed to Dr. Daszak at Eco Health Alliance. In truth, either Fauci, Collins, or both men helped establish a loophole to keep money flowing to Chinese virologists and American scientists to advance gain-of-function research.

The 2014 moratorium on gain-of-function research contained a footnote on page two, granting an exception to the ban. “An exception from the research pause may be obtained if the head of the USG funding agency determines that the research is urgently necessary to protect the public health or national security.” This is yet another example of government officials using the “protect the public health” excuse to experiment on humans and threaten their life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. Every emergency order and medical edict during the covid-19 scandal is premised on this grandiose excuse.

In an interview with Independent Science News, molecular biologist Dr. Richard H. Ebright, said, “Unfortunately, the NIAID director and the NIH director exploited this loophole to issue exemptions to projects subject to the Pause—preposterously asserting the exempted research was ‘urgently necessary to protect public health or national security’ — thereby nullifying the Pause.” Ebright is part of a twenty-six-member investigation team who is conducting a forensic analysis into the origins of covid-19.

A Legal System Corrupted

I’ve always had great respect for our legal system. It’s as good as any of which I’m aware. No, I’m not naive. I’m fully aware that every institution depends on the competence and integrity of those involved and that means sometimes decisions are rendered that are wrong muddy thinking and sometimes corrupt judges; self-seeking prosecutors; incompetent counsel; bad and poorly written laws; false testimony by liars all contribute now and then to unjust resolutions. But in recent years, my faith has been even more badly shaken by continued and obvious corruption all the way down the line.

This week there are three instances that confirm my belief that something is seriously amiss in our justice system:

The FBI’s hidden and far-too-tardy acknowledgment that the Bernie Sanders supporter who tried to murder the Republican House leadership in 2017 was a domestic terrorist.

The continued mistreatment (overcharging and continued solitary confinement) of several of the January 6 Capitol demonstrators compounded by the officials’ lies about it and the Department of Justice’s refusal to make available to the public the videos of that event.

And a claim by one of the three defendants in the George Floyd case that a key witness in the Chauvin trial had been improperly coerced to change his testimony and the prosecution (the Minnesota attorney general’s office) did nothing to inform the defense of the interactions the defendant asserts were coercive.

Since the press has quickly smothered this story, let me remind you. In June 2017 Hodgkinson, a Bernie Sanders supporter who had posted on Facebook that “Trump is a Traitor. Trump has Destroyed our democracy. It’s Time to destroy Trump & Co,” and had otherwise demonstrated his extreme hostility to Republicans, traveled to Virginia from his home in Illinois, and after learning that the men playing ball there were Republican congressmen, opened fired on them, wounding five people including Congressman Steve Scalise, who nearly bled to death and required multiple surgeries before he could return to Congress.

While Attorney General Merrick Garland claims that white supremacists are the biggest terror threat facing us, and the press regularly hypes such a danger, the truth is that this was the most serious partisan political terrorist act in recent years on our soil.

Now, four years later and hidden as deeply as possible:

The FBI quietly admitted Friday that the 2017 Alexandria, Virginia, baseball field shooting that nearly killed Rep. Steve Scalise has been classified as ‘domestic terrorism’ carried out by a ‘domestic violent extremist ‘targeting Republicans after the bureau previously classified is as ‘suicide by cop.’

The revelation appears in the middle of an appendix on page 35 of a 40-page FBI-DHS report released on Friday titled “Security Strategic Intelligence Assessment and Data on Domestic Terrorism.” In a section describing approximately 85 different “FBI-Designated Significant Domestic Terrorism Incidents in the United States from 2015 through 2019,” the Alexandria baseball field shooting appears, with the FBI categorizing the perpetrator as a “Domestic Violent Extremist” and describing the incident thusly: “An individual with a personalized violent ideology targeted and shot Republican members of Congress at a baseball field and wounded five people. The subject died as a result of engagement with law enforcement.”

Liz Cheney says Trump supporters are 'misled,' calls Trump a 'real danger' to American democracy

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.), the recently ousted chairwoman of the House Republican Conference, claimed Sunday that Republicans who continue to support former President Donald Trump are "misled."

During an interview on "Fox and Friends," host Chris Wallace asked Cheney why she continues to vocally criticize Trump, seemingly alienating the tens of millions of Republicans who support him.

In response, Cheney called Trump a "real danger" to American democracy.

"Former President Trump continues to be a real danger. What he is doing and what he is saying, his claims, his refusal to accept decisions by the courts, his claims…that somehow this election was stolen. What he is doing is he is causing people to believe that they can't count on our electoral process to actually convey the will of the people," Cheney began.

"We have to be a nation of laws. If you reject the rulings of the courts, if you work against the rulings of the courts, then you really are at war with the Constitution," she continued. "He is a continuing danger to our system."

"Those millions of people that you mention who supported the president have been misled. They've been betrayed," Cheney said. "And certainly, as we see his continued action to attack our democracy, his continued refusal to accept the results of the last election, you see that ongoing danger."

209 Palestinian martyrs, 5600 wounded as Israeli occupation escalates aggression on Gaza and West Bank

Occupied Jerusalem, SANA-The number of Palestinian victims from the Israeli continued aggression on the besieged Gaza Strip and West Bank rose to 209 martyrs and more than 5600 wounded according to statistics of Palestinian Health Ministry.

Earlier, 26 Palestinians were martyred and more than 50 others were wounded in the bombing of the Israeli warplanes at dawn today on al-Wehda Street in the besieged Gaza Strip.

Palestinian Maan News Agency reported that the Israeli warplanes targeted Palestinian homes in al-Wehda Street in al-Rimal neighborhood in the western Gaza Strip, as 26 Palestinians were martyred, including an infant, seven children and 10 women, and more than 50 others were wounded.

The medics and civil defense teams are still recovering the bodies of the martyrs and rescuing the wounded in al-Wehda street and they face a great difficulty due to the heavy bombing by the occupation’s warplanes.

Study Casts Doubt on Pro-Abortion Talking Point

Abortion is rarely used to space children, contra advocate claims

Researchers who reviewed data on millions of pregnant women threw cold water on the pro-abortion talking point that women use the procedure for family planning.

A study published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Primary Care and Community Health found that just 1 percent of almost five million Medicaid-eligible women who have an abortion after having given birth once go on to give birth again. The findings cast doubt on the argument that abortion is often used in between births to further space young children. The Biden administration, following through on comments Joe Biden made during the campaign, has already freed up billions in dollars in taxpayer funding that can be used to fund abortion services. The funding primarily came from the American Rescue Plan, which passed without Hyde Amendment protections.

The use of abortion as a method of family planning has been cited by such authorities as the American Public Health Association, which listed child spacing as a reason for its support for taxpayer funding of abortion. "APHA considers the availability of safe, legal, and affordable abortion care to be essential for safeguarding maternal health, reducing maternal mortality and morbidity, and enabling healthy spacing of pregnancies," the association states. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists also listed "spacing" to justify its support for abortion. And a branch of the pro-abortion organization NARAL promoted a series of articles exploring how "abortion makes parenting possible."

But the study found that the data do not support the conclusion that women use abortion for child spacing.

Researchers looked at 17 states where Medicaid, the entitlement program designed to help low-income Americans, includes coverage of abortions through state taxpayer funding. The time frame was 1999 to 2014. Out of the 4,875,511 Medicaid-eligible women and girls, 50,012 followed a pattern of a live birth, then an abortion, then another live birth. "[Our] findings support the conclusion that it is quite uncommon for Medicaid eligible women to utilize abortion for the purpose of child spacing," the study states.

The study was commissioned by the Charlotte Lozier Institute, the research arm of the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List. Its authors said that the argument for using abortion for family planning is not supported by the data. In fact, they said, the opposite appears to be true.

"The data is clear … abortion is almost never used as a family planning tool," Stephen Billy, executive director of the Charlotte Lozier Institute, said.

"What pro-abortion researchers would like you to believe is that abortion is a happy circumstance that leads to a child-spaced family. What actually happens is that an abortion leads to more pregnancies, but those pregnancies lead to more abortions," said James Studnicki, the lead author of the study. "Abortion begets abortion."

The data also suggest that taxpayer-funded abortion has a disparate racial impact. Black women composed 19 percent of the study's population but made up 37 percent of the women with one or more abortions, according to the results. The study's authors said that expanded taxpayer funding for abortion would have negative impacts on minorities.

"If you expand taxpayer funding of abortion, more abortions will occur, and those abortions are going to be disproportionately affecting minority communities," Billy said.

As Turkmenistan’s People go Hungry, President’s Nephew Profits off Food Imports

As Turkmen citizens stand in long lines for scarce, government-subsidized food, members of the ruling family are living large. For the first time, reporters found documentary proof of how connections to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov can mean lucrative insider deals.

Amid widespread food shortages, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov granted a $25.7-million contract to import state-subsidized staples to a firm registered in the United Kingdom.

That firm, which has no public history of activity in food imports, is controlled by the president’s nephew, Hajymyrat Rejepov.

After receiving the contract, Rejepov acquired a luxurious mansion in an elite Ashgabat neighborhood.

Every day across Turkmenistan, hungry citizens line up for hours to buy small amounts of subsidized food amid an economic meltdown. Ruled by a closed circle of corrupt autocrats, Turkmenistan has spent decades isolated from the world. But its food crisis began in 2016, when Russia abruptly stopped purchasing its natural gas. Suddenly, the Turkmen government was desperately short of dollars to pay its debts.

The Central Asian country was hit by hyperinflation, its currency collapsed, and the government imposed tight restrictions on exchanges.

As a result, imports plummeted, driving food prices out of reach of most families. The government began subsidizing imports by select companies, but supplies are still short.

“They bring very little of everything, and it’s not enough for people,” a public sector employee said on condition of anonymity for fear of retribution.

Little is known about how this food import scheme works, as the government releases no public information about its contractors or the value of the imports.

But reporters for Turkmen.News and Gundogar, OCCRP’s Turkmen partners, found that one of the companies that received a food import contract belongs to a 39-year-old nephew of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Hajymyrat Rejepov.

Rejepov’s U.K.-registered firm, which has no website and no public history of business activity, received a US$25.7-million contract to import staples like chicken, sugar, and cooking oil as the result of a decree signed by his uncle in November 2016. The document has never before been made public.

The source of Rejepov’s wealth has long been a mystery, though it is widely assumed that he benefits from his familial connection to the president. This deal is the first documentary evidence that he does.

Reporters also discovered where he has spent some of his money.

Pakistan-Based CNN Contributor Tweets ‘The World Today Needs A Hitler’

Adeel Raja has been a freelance contributor for CNN since 2013, and appears to be based in Pakistan.

Images of a now-deleted tweet purportedly tweeted by a journalist named Adeel Raja reveals Raja suggested that “the world today needs a Hitler”, likely in response to the ongoing unrest in Israel and Palestine. On his LinkedIn, Raja identifies himself as a freelance contributor for CNN, and has written dozens of articles for the far left website since 2015.

Raja’s LinkedIn profile reveals he has been a freelance contributor for CNN since 2013, and the first article he contributed appears to have been published on January 2, 2014. The CNN website suggests he contributed articles to CNN as recently as September 16, 2020, with several articles published throughout the spring and summer of that year.

Raja’s LinkedIn profile also reveals that he is seemingly based in Pakistan, and has worked in news since at least 2007. He began by working for a company called DawnNews, based in Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2007. After stints at Dunya TV, and Aaj TV, he began working as an executive producer at ARY News in 2014, apparently supplementing his freelance work at CNN, which he began just over a year before starting at ARY. On LinkedIn, he claims to be ‘A creative producer/director with experience in television, current affairs and live event. Extensive experience working with political talk shows.”

While some point out that Raja’s profile photos on LinkedIn and Twitter do not match due to Raja’s apparently recent decision to grow a beard, Raja has identified himself as a CNN journalist numerous times on his Twitter account. On September 30 of 2020, he entreated his followers to “check out” his story published “for CNN.” On June 1, 2020, he wrote, “I do report for [CNN International]”, and on January 11, 2018, he shared a story he wrote for CNN.

US Ready to Help Israel, Palestinians If They Seek a Ceasefire

The United States told the United Nations Security Council on Sunday it has made clear to Israel, the Palestinians and others that it is ready to offer support “should the parties seek a ceasefire” to end the worsening violence between Israel and Palestinian terrorist groups in Gaza.

“The United States has been working tirelessly through diplomatic channels to try to bring an end to this conflict,” U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Linda Thomas-Greenfield told the 15-member council. “Because we believe Israelis and Palestinians equally have a right to live in safety and security.”

As the U.N. Security Council convened to discuss the worst Israeli-Palestinian violence in years, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel’s campaign in Gaza was continuing at “full force.”

Netanyahu also defended an Israeli air strike on Saturday that destroyed a 12-story building where the Associated Press and the Al Jazeera TV network had offices. He said the structure also housed a terrorist group’s intelligence office and was thus a legitimate target.

“We are acting now, (and) for as long as necessary, to restore calm and quiet to you, Israel’s citizens. It will take time,” Netanyahu said in a televised address after meeting with his security cabinet.

U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said the United Nations is “actively engaging all sides toward an immediate ceasefire” and called on them “to allow mediation efforts to intensify and succeed.”

The truce efforts by Egypt, Qatar and the United Nations have so far offered no sign of progress. The United States sent an envoy to the region and U.S. President Joe Biden spoke with Netanyahu and Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas on Saturday.

“In all these engagements with Israeli officials, the Palestinian Authority, and all regional partners, the United States has made clear that we are prepared to lend our support and good offices should the parties seek a ceasefire,” Thomas-Greenfield said.

The death toll in Gaza jumped to 192, including 58 children, its health ministry said, amid an intensive Israeli air and artillery barrage since the fighting erupted last Monday. Ten people have been killed in Israel, including two children, in thousands of rocket attacks by Hamas and other terrorist groups.

Israel’s U.N. Ambassador Gilad Erdan said Israel’s response to indiscriminate attacks by Hamas strictly adhered to international law and that the country was taking “unparalleled steps to prevent civilian casualties.”

“Israel uses its missiles to protect its children. Hamas uses children to protect its missiles,” Erdan said.

CDC Director Walensky Defends Updated Mask Guidance: “We Now Have Science That Really Just Evolved in the Last Two Weeks”

Aren’t we always told not to question anything because the “science is settled”?

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky on Sunday defended the agency’s updated mask guidance during an appearance on ABC’s “This Week.”

Out of no where the CDC on Thursday announced fully vaccinated people will no longer be required to wear masks indoors.

Just a few weeks ago CDC Director Walensky was on tv warning of an “impending doom” — now all of a sudden the pandemic is over?

It is crystal clear to anyone paying attention that the Biden White House TOLD the CDC to end the mask requirement for political reasons because the Biden regime is buried in crises.

Walensky said she’s just following the evolving science.

“We now have science that has really just evolved even in the last two weeks that demonstrates that these vaccines are safe, they are effective,” Walensky told Martha Raddatz.
