The CDC last week said fully vaccinated people can quit wearing masks outdoors and in most indoor settings.

But many Americans aren't ready to give up their masks.

''I am worried the CDC's decision will indeed lead millions of unvaccinated people to abandon their masks, leading to a fourth wave of infections in the US that will result in more sick young children and schools shuttering in the fall. Though I am vaccinated, I will continue masking and social distancing for the foreseable future.''
