TGP Reporter Confronts Soros-Backed Maricopa County Sheriff After His Meltdown Over Router Request

The Sheriff of Maricopa County, Paul Penzone (D), has been in the news lately for going ballistic when the auditors from the 2020 Election in the County asked for access to the County’s routers. TGP contributor Jordan Conradson asked him about this and more today.

The County claimed that there was personal data that was maintained in these files (which was not true since routers do not record the content of what is being transferred but rather the times and transfer points of data transfers).

We noted in the response to the request from the auditors, the Sheriff of Maricopa County, Paul Penzone, was cc’d in the letter. He is probably better known for the $2 million in support from George Soros in 2016 in the Deep State’s effort to see Sheriff Joe lose for the first time in seven elections. This was reported in Arizona at the time:

When Paul Penzone ran for Maricopa County sheriff in 2016, he famously received a $2 million contribution from billionaire George Soros — the liberal philanthropist’s single biggest investment in a local race that year.

Apparently, when notified of the auditors’ requests, the Sheriff had a meltdown:

Sheriff Paul Penzone (D) said in a statement that providing router information to a shadowy private company led by a conspiracy-embracing CEO would compromise sensitive and highly classified law enforcement data and equipment.

“The Senate Republican Caucus’ audit of the Maricopa County votes from last November’s election has no stopping point,” Penzone said. “Now, its most recent demands jeopardize the entire mission of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.”

It’s difficult to see how the request for router access for review would ‘jeopardize the entire mission of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.” This sounds like an overreaction or the Sheriff’s Department has a mission that he doesn’t want in the open.

This is where Conradson comes in. When he noticed the Sheriff departing the building he decided to ask him a few very good questions.

The Sheriff was not prepared for this and looked very weak walking away from the brave reporter.

Incoming Geomagnetic Storm Expected To Hit Earth Tuesday

This week's solar activity report shows a geomagnetic storm watch is in effect between May 18-19. Two Earth-facing sunspots have been identified by NASA's Solar Dynamic Observatory (SDO) satellite and could produce storms as early as Tuesday.

NASA designated the sunspots as AR2822 and AR2823 and are Earth-facing.

Space Weather's Tony Phillips wrote:

"Minor G1-class geomagnetic storms are possible on May 18-19 when a pair of coronal mass ejections (CMEs) is expected to hit Earth's magnetic field.

"The two CMEs left the sun on consecutive days: One from sunspot AR2822 on May 13th, the next from sunspot AR2823 on May 14th.

"Individually, the CMEs appear to be weak and insubstantial; however, they could add up to a geomagnetic storm when they arrive in quick succession this Tuesday."

Sunspots are mostly harmless, but the resulting solar flares that bombard Earth's magnetosphere could produce a stunning light show in the sky as the atmosphere deflects the solar particles. If a geomagnetic disturbance is strong enough, it could disrupt satellite communication, GPS signal, land-based communication equipment, and power grids.

Officials in Hong Kong reportedly believe Luo Lili – who rubbed shoulders with the likes of Hillary Clinton and Rita Ora – may have taken her own life while suffering from post-natal depression.

The wealthy socialite was found with her five-month-old daughter at the bottom a block of apartments, it has been reported in local media.

It is not known who the father of her child was, although Luo appeared to confirm she was a single mum on social media shortly before her death.

News that such a wealthy and successful women could have taken her own life has shocked people in Hong Kong.

The 34-year-old had appeared happy on social media in the days leading up to her death.

She recently shared pictures on Instagram with her baby daughter, describing her as a “gift from God”.

On the surface, her life appeared to be perfect.

She was the only daughter of Luo Lin, the chairman of the Chengdu real estate company Jinlin Real Estate, whose family that had been involved in Chinese medicine for six generations.

Berkshire Dumps Wells, Exits Synchrony, Sells Half Of Chevron, Adds New Stake In Aon: Full 13F Summary

While Berkshire's portfolio made headline news a few weeks ago when the company held its annual report, moments ago Berkshire Hathaway filed its Q1 13-F which provided a more detailed glimpse into its holdings as of March 31, 2021.

It showed two exits (Synchrony Financial and Suncor), one new position, a 4.1 million stake worth just under $1 billion in British insurer Aon Plc that is working now to close a deal with rival Willis Towers Watson, and perhaps most notably the nearly complete liquidation of Berkshire's remaining position in Wells Fargo.

As a reminder, in addition to dumping its entire stake in JPMorgan and M&T Bank, last quarter Berkshire also continued its gradual selling of its formerly favorite US bank, Wells Fargo, selling 59% of its holdings in Q4. Fast forward three months when there was no more Mr nice guy and as of March 31, Berkshire's position in Wells had collapsed by 99%, leaving Buffett with a tiny stub of just 675,054 WFC shares worth $26.4 million.

Elsewhere, Berkshire - whose long portfolio as of March 31 had a value of just over $270 billion - added to its holdings of Kroger, boosting that stake up 52%, and also bought more Verizon (+8%), RH (+1%) and also Marsh McLennan, adding 24% to its stake.

At the same time, Berkshire also cut quite a few holdings - 11 in total shown in orange below - and in addition to the near liquidation of its Wells holdings, what we found more interesting is that after revealing a 48.5 million stake in Chevron last quarter, worth just over $4 billion, Berkshire has trimmed this in half, and as of March 31 it held just 23.7 million shares, worth $2.5 billion. Is Buffett's infatuation with E&P over, or is the massive fund preparing to reallocate to the company which many had said it would buy all along, Exxon.
