Must make one more correction. As regards clouds over CH at night. They would be coming from the SW (from front right towards left rear-over your left shoulder.)

Try it on those clouds over CH at night. Was hoping we might see which one of those pics was taken first, if the cloud was the same cloud.

Fantastic thinking, Anon. In that video taken at Piccadilly Circus on 23DEC2013, we have high winds, the sidewalks are wet with rain. The sidewalks being so wet and the rain itself no doubt prevented those tiny styrofoam pellets from being blown all about. A man can be heard telling someone to watch out for a puddle. That means all of our locations, EMB, CH, and WW along with PICCADILLY were under the same rainy, windy conditions. We have marker for the evening of 23DEC2013 as being a rainy and windy day. NONE of the London pics reflect these conditions.

I vote 23DEC2013 be eliminated from consideration as a possible date for the London pics, to include: PICCADILLY, EMB, CH and WW.

>And keep in mind the stormy interval of about 22-24 DEC 2013. That interval is longer than the actual storm, but concerns were raised at the time, according to news reports, on the 22nd; so might have been gathering on night of 22nd, IDK. Could use some more evidence of the weather conditions. Pics or vids

A DISCUSSION RE 22DECEMBER2013:

So if this was the beginning of the storm, I haven't heard anons say it had caused WW to close on this date. Can we eliminate this day? Going read up more after this. But we can infer that WW opened for business under acceptable weather conditions.

Did WW have to close early due to the storm or did the storm arrive after WW closed at it normal closing time?

We may also be able to eliminate the date of 22DEC from consideration for the EMB pics, which occur late at night(due to moon seen in ROT1) but under dry conditions. Can possibly tie the CH pics EMB as far as their late hour as well. Will have to get an hourly weather report to eliminate PICCADILLY (a daytime scene). Would need daytime rain on this date.

Have to keep in mind that WW opened for business on this date. What was the weather like when WW opened this day?

If they started the day under misting conditions we might be able to eliminate this date for the daylight Ch3 pic.

Technically this is still a viable WW day, until we find out just when that storm arrived and if there were wet conditions all day or mot.

Just on the surface by looking at the opening page for London weather, it shows a current temperature, wind direction and a description of weather condition (in this example "cloudy"), shows the location of the meteorological measuring location, AND a datestamp of the "last report". So the site is gathering live data from all of its measuring locations and, it seems, logging a report at ten minutes before the hour, each hour. The site does post a 14-day forecast as an option, but one must admit this is a popular option found on any respectable weather channel you visit. It makes sense that the site would want to include forecasts to increase users on their site.

With that in mind, it seems logical they would use those measured hourly reports as their source for their archive of past weather reports. Imho

From a prior dig, there is a rather large dining room restaurant on the first floor. Sorry don't have those pics. There is a lounge/bar on the second story. My guess from pictures it is on the Northumberland side of the building but I don't know how much of the second floor it takes up. It may account for that dark bank of windows one sees on the Northumberland side.

I just checked on 22DEC2013. Other than sprinkles reported at 8;50am and later at 4:50pm, the day was alternating passing clouds and clear til midnight.

See caps.

And fyi, the storm is not reported arriving, for LONDON, until 8:50am on 23DEC.

Can't rule out 22DEC2013 for WW imho.

But for EMB we have what must be a short-lived configuration of building lights at the MILLBANK possibly first recorded on 24DEC2013. How many nights could that configuration remain the same?

Just an observation at this point in the conversation which now includes a severe storm with associated high winds (as evidenced by the ruination of the Snow Globe at Piccadilly on 23DEC2013 most likely by high winds causing a puncture from the Peter Pan statue).

There is one of the CH pics which can be considered as capturing the after effects of a storm with high winds.

The CH1 photo depicts leaves, etc at the kerbs and islands in the middle of the street.

I propose for anons to consider that this picture CH1 could have been taken after that storm on 23DEC2013.
