The Moons from 1MAR thru MAR5 progress from a New Moon(right next to the Sun to a Waxing Crescent following the Sun by 3 hours.
MAR6 thru MAR8: The Moon goes from a Crescent(3 hrs behind Sun) to a 1st Quarter moon trailing the Sun by 6 hours and rising about noon. These are daytime moons.
MAR9 thru MAR16: Moon goes from Waxing 1st Quarter rising at noon, thru a Waxing Gibbous moon(9 hours behind the Sun) rising at 3pm to a Full Moon rising at sunset. See April discussion about lights and dinner service on the restaurant ships.
Best dates in MAR2014 are from the 17th with a Waning Gibbous moon reducing in appearance until the 22nd with a Last Quarter moon. Am keeping these Last Quarter moons to be conservative. In addition, these Last Quarter moons rising around midnight and possibly being in position of the moon in ROT1 around 3ish in the morning.
