Turkish Interior Minister Says There Was Attempt to Attack Military Base in Diyarbakir

According to Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu, the attempted attack on the military facility in Diyarbakir did not result in any casualties.

Turkey's Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu on Wednesday tweeted that there was an attempt to attack a military facility in Diyarbakir by "two model aircrafts".

According to the minister, the planes were neutralized, and the attempted attack did not cause any injuries.

The tweet reads: "An attempt was made to attack a military facility in Diyarbakır with 2 model aircrafts, and the model aircrafts were neutralized. There is no injury."

Turkish media outlet Cumhuriyet reported, citing unnamed sources, that a blast occurred near the 8th Main Jet Base, and sirens were later heard in the city. A second explosion reportedly occurred at around 00.52, local time.

No further details were immediately available.

Texas Gov. Abbott: Border Agents Seized Enough Fentanyl To Kill Every New Yorker

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott told Fox News the amount of fentanyl seized at the southwest border could kill everyone in New York.

Abbott said US border agents intercepted a mindboggling 800% increase in fentanyl shipments in April versus the same time last year.

"But I gotta tell you there's a new dynamic about what's going on at the border that Americans need to know about and that is increased apprehension of fentanyl coming across the border," the governor said. Yes, there may be people coming across but there are dangerous drugs coming across the border."

"We had almost an 800% increase April over April of the amount of fentanyl that has been apprehended by the Texas Department of Public Safety," Abbott said, indicating that amount of fentanyl seized could "kill every single person in the state of New York."

The governor bashed the Biden administration for their poor job at managing the crisis at the border.

Readers may recall President Biden canceled U.S.-Mexico border wall construction - only to admit the southern US border is in a "crisis" - then the administration reinstated the US Army Corps of Engineers to continue building on a 13.4 mile stretch of border wall in the Rio Grande Valley.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has sued the Biden administration over alleged immigration law violations. He said his state is working to keep all Americans safe by apprehending illegal immigrants and stopping drugs from flowing onto city streets.

"On the national level with regard to the Border Patrol, they apprehended last month—in the month of April, more than 170,000 people," the governor said. "That is a tenfold increase over the prior April where they apprehended about 17,000 people."

While Abbott is combating drug traffickers as much as he can even though the Biden administration appears clueless about the severity of the border crisis but maybe as of late is beginning to realize the shitshow, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) posted some troubling opioid overdose deaths showing a drastic increase countrywide since the virus pandemic began in March 2020.

Maricopa County Officials Refuse to Meet with Arizona State Senate to Resolve Election Audit Issues

The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors refused an invitation to meet with the Arizona State Senate to discuss how to resolve issues surrounding a State Senate authorized audit of the November 3, 2020 election results in Maricopa County in a sharply worded letter sent on Monday.

“We will not attend your meeting on May 18, 2021,” the supervisors wrote.

“In your letter, you invite us to attend a meeting at the Arizona State Capitol on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., and you request that we bring Election Department officials who would have knowledge of our elections procedures,” they continued.

“We will not be attending. We will not be responding to any additional inquiries from your ‘auditors.’ Their failure to understand basic election processes is an indication you didn’t get the best people to perform in your political theatre.”

“We have wasted enough County resources. People’s tax dollars are real, your ‘auditors’ are not,” the supervisors asserted in the letter.

We also write in response to the May 12th social media post from the Twitter account, run by you or your designee/s, which accused Maricopa County of “deleting a directory full of databases from the 2020 election cycle days before the election equipment was delivered to the audit,” and went on to accuse the County of “spoliation of evidence.”

“These accusations are false, defamatory, and beneath the dignity of the Senate. They are an insult to the dedicated public servants in the Maricopa County Elections Department and Office of the Recorder, who work incredibly long hours conducting the County’s elections with integrity and honor,” they continued.

Unearthed internal Microsoft complaints claim women were ‘abused and degraded’

Newly-unearthed internal complaints detail how women working at Microsoft said they were “ignored, abused and degraded” — and even called “p–y” and “c–t” by their male co-workers, according to a report on Tuesday.

The complaints were part of a since-dismissed 2015 lawsuit against the tech giant, but are attracting new attention amid reports that Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates “pursued” female employees and even had an affair with one.

“It felt like this culture flowed from the top,” Katherine Moussouris, the first plaintiff in the discrimination case, told The Daily Mail in the report published Tuesday.

“It was a culture of testing women poorly with impunity and I think these revelations (about Gates) have shown that to the world.”

Her proposed class-action lawsuit alleged that the company discriminated against women when it came to pay and promotions.

It accused Microsoft of having an “exclusionary ‘boys’ club” atmosphere” that was “rife with sexual harassment.”

According to a filing in the suit, women at Microsoft filed 238 internal complaints about gender discrimination or sexual harassment between 2010 and 2016.

One of the complaints, reported by the Mail on Tuesday, said that a man asked a female co-worker why she was “dressed like a wh–e.”

Another woman complained that a male co-worker bombarded her with inappropriate messages, including offering to “spank” her, according to the report.

Yet another complaint alleged that a man had groped four different women during a work function — but that an internal investigation found he didn’t breach anti-harassment rules, the Mail reported.

One woman wrote to a female superior that the “good ol boy culture and way of behaving at meetings is alive and well.”

Another female staffer dubbed it a “bro culture” that was “not easy or natural for women to fit into,” the report said.

One complained that employees had code-named a project “Wrecking Ball” after Miley Cyrus’ raunchy music videos and that workers had compiled an e-mail list titled “Working Backwards” that “stereotypes and degrades women.”

Out of 118 gender discrimination complaints, only one was deemed “founded” by the company, according to the court documents, which were unsealed in 2018.

Moussouris, a computer security researcher who worked at Microsoft from 2007 to 2014, was joined by two other plaintiffs in the case, according to the Mail.

They sought permission to create a class-action suit that would have allowed more than 8,600 women to join the case and potentially get damages from the company.

Border Patrol Intercepts Child Rapists Entering US Illegally.

Customs and Border Protection officials continue to intercept criminals – including convicted child rapists – attempting to enter the U.S. illegally.

An agency press release notes that a 28-year-old El Salvadorian national previously convicted for raping a child was caught in South Texas:

Saturday evening, McAllen agents working near Abrams, Texas, apprehended a group of ten migrants, including one unaccompanied child, shortly after illegally entering the United States. Criminal records checks revealed that a 28-year-old Salvadoran man within that group, Raul Sanchez, was previously arrested by the Moses Lake Police Department in Washington for Rape of a Child. In 2016, Sanchez was found guilty and sentenced to 34 months imprisonment and 36 months of community service.

In Mission, Texas, agents encountered another El Salvadorian national that had been convicted for sexual abuse of minors:

Early this morning, agents working near Anzalduas Park in south Mission, Texas, encountered a 49-year-old Salvadoran man that had illegally entered into the United States. The man, later identified as, Rafael Rauda-Lopez, was transported to the McAllen Border Patrol Station where records checks revealed a previous arrest by the New York City Police Department for Sexual Contact of a 9-year-old female child in 2014. Rauda-Lopez was convicted in 2016 for Sexual Abuse 2nd: Sexual Contact with Person Less Than 14 Years Old and sentenced to 1 year in jail.

CBP Officers Seize More Than a Ton of Methamphetamine in Medical Supply Shipment

SAN DIEGO – U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Otay Mesa Commercial Facility seized close to 2,500 pounds of methamphetamine concealed in a shipment of medical supplies.

On Saturday, May 15, at approximately 9:45 a.m., a driver entered the Otay Mesa Commercial Facility with a tractor-trailer shipment. The cargo was manifested as various medical supplies. A team of CBP officers were roving through the lanes of trucks that had entered the port and were waiting for their inspection. One CBP officer targeted the truck, driver, and shipment for a more intensive inspection. The officer referred the driver, truck, and shipment for an x-ray screening.

CBP officers screened the truck using the port’s imaging system and found anomalies within the cargo shipment. The truck was moved to an inspection dock where a CBP officer with a canine screened the boxes of cargo; the dog alerted to one of the pallets of medical products. Officers offloaded the shipment and discovered 120 packages comingled with various medical supplies.

CBP officers extracted approximately 2,425 pounds of methamphetamine worth an estimated $5.5 million. CBP officers seized the narcotics and conveyance. The driver, a 29-year-old Mexican male, was arrested and turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations. The driver is facing federal charges and has been transported to the Metropolitan Correctional Center.

“Most of what CBP officers see every day is legitimate travelers and legitimate cargo that needs to speed its way into the U.S. as a critical part of our economy.” said Anne Maricich, acting CBP Director of Field Operations in San Diego. “But CBP officers know that we must remain vigilant; transnational criminal organizations will attempt any avenue they can think of to try and smuggle their illicit drugs into the U.S.”

Hackers Behind Colonial Pipeline Attack Received $90 Million in Bitcoin Ransom Payments

DarkSide, the hacker group behind the Colonial Pipeline attack, received $90 million in bitcoin over the last 9 months, according to the London-based blockchain analysts at Elliptic.

After identifying and analyzing the wallet used by DarkSide, Elliptic found that the hacker group received $90 million in bitcoin from a total of 47 distinct wallets.

Colonial Pipeline reportedly paid $5 million to the hackers before announcing it would restart its operations again.

The largest US refinery shut two crude units in Port Arthur, Texas a couple weekends ago after hackers caused the Colonial Pipeline to shut down.

Several southeastern states reported long lines at gas stations and gas shortages, prompting governors to declare emergencies.

Last Thursday $5.3 million in bitcoin was emptied from the DarkSide’s wallet. There has been speculation that the $5.3 million in bitcoin was seized by the US government.

Joe Biden last Thursday was asked about the reported ransom paid to the hackers.

This is after the Biden Administration sat back and did nothing and said the cyberattack is a “private sector” problem even though it affected gas distribution in 1/3 of the country.

“Were you briefed on the fact that the company did pay the ransom?” a reporter asked.

It took a few seconds for Biden’s brain to catch up and he finally responded, “I have no comment on that.”

Proterra Hired Obama-Connected Lobbying Firm Weeks Before Biden Visit

Weeks before President Joe Biden boosted Proterra with an official tour of its plant, the electric battery company hired a pair of Obama administration alums to lobby the White House for funding, amplifying its already concerning political connections to the Biden administration.

According to disclosure forms filed last Friday, the politically connected electric bus manufacturer brought on lobbying firm Boundary Stone Partners on April 1 to push the administration for increased funding of clean energy infrastructure projects, including the "electrification" of mass transportation vehicles. The two lobbyists registered to Proterra, Pete Gould and Christine Turner, both worked in the top echelons of the Obama administration—Gould was associate director of government affairs for the Department of Transportation, and Turner held numerous trade-related positions throughout the administration, including on the White House National Security Council.

Atop the lobbying firm sits Brandon Hurlbut, who was chief of staff at the Department of Energy and a top energy adviser to Obama at the White House. Hurlbut additionally co-chaired Clean Energy for Biden, a group that raised millions of dollars for Biden's presidential campaign and is now advocating clean energy spending. Along with Hurlbut, both Gould and Turner made several contributions to Biden's campaign, according to campaign finance records.

Proterra's political connections to the administration had already raised ethical flags on Capitol Hill due to the fact that Jennifer Granholm, Biden’s energy secretary, spent years on Proterra’s board and continues to own up to $5 million in Proterra stock. The acquisition of the former Obama officials shows Proterra has even deeper political connections than were previously known.

The lobbying disclosure form is Boundary Stone Partners' first for Proterra, which joins a number of renewable energy companies already employing the firm to lobby the Biden administration. It has not yet been disclosed how much Proterra is paying Boundary Stone Partners. Neither responded to requests for comment.

The disclosure form says Gould and Turner are lobbying on the topics of "[f]unding for transit infrastructure grants provisions related to low or no emission vehicle grant applications, clean energy and infrastructure investments, surface transportation reauthorization, vehicle fleet electrification, and manufacturing loan programs." Lobbying records show Gould has lobbied on similar issues for Proterra since last December as a lobbyist for a different firm, Catapult Policy Strategies, which he left to join Boundary Stone Partners.

Just 19 days after the firm was brought on, Biden and his top economic adviser Brian Deese toured Proterra and pledged that the administration's infrastructure plan would direct money to the company.

It is more than likely that Hurlbut directly engaged with Proterra as a member of the Obama administration. In his official Boundary Stone Partners biography, he boasts that he led the Obama administration's deployment of $90 billion worth of clean energy grants through the stimulus package. Proterra says its first electric bus was manufactured in 2009 due to government funds it received from the Obama administration.

Ex-Catholic school teacher going to prison for repeated sexual assaults of teen student

Camden, N.J. – A former Camden Catholic High School teacher pled guilty and was sentenced on May 14 on charges related to the repeated sexual assault of her former student, according to Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill S. Mayer.

Bridget Sipera, 37, of Cherry Hill, pled guilty to one count of third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child and was sentenced to four years in the New Jersey State Prison.

Sipera, once voted the “coolest” teacher at the school, was charged in August of 2020 after an investigation revealed she repeatedly sexually assaulted a student beginning in January of 2019 when the student was 17-years-old. Detectives said the sexual assault continued through March of 2020.

The victim told investigators he had sex with the teacher “about 60 times over an 18-month period,” the Courier-Post reported.

Under the sentencing agreement, Sipera must also forfeit her teaching license and credentials, register under Megan’s Law, undergo lifelong supervised parole, and have no contact with the victim or the victim’s family.

Children born abroad via surrogacy and IVF to be granted U.S. citizenship, Biden admin. announces

The State Department announced Tuesday the United States will grant citizenship to babies born abroad to parents who used artificial reproductive technology, including surrogacy and IVF:

Recognizing the advances in assisted reproductive technology (ART), the State Department is updating our interpretation and application of Section 301 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), which establishes the requirements for acquisition of U.S. citizenship at birth.

Children born abroad to parents, at least one of whom is a U.S. citizen and who are married to each other at the time of the birth, will be U.S. citizens from birth if they have a genetic or gestational tie to at least one of their parents and meet the INA’s other requirements. Previously, the Department’s interpretation and application of the INA required that children born abroad have a genetic or gestational relationship to a U.S. citizen parent.

This updated interpretation and application of the INA takes into account the realities of modern families and advances in ART from when the Act was enacted in 1952.

This change will allow increased numbers of married couples to transmit U.S. citizenship to their children born overseas, while continuing to follow the citizenship transmission requirements established in the INA. Requirements for children born to unmarried parents remain unchanged.

At the same time, we remain vigilant to the risks of citizenship fraud, exploitation, and abuse. As with all citizenship and immigration benefits we examine, the Department will implement this policy in a manner that addresses these concerns.

Man Charged In Gurnee Sex Abuse Of Juveniles Arrested During Court Hearing After Bond Doubled

A Round Lake Park man was charged with sexually abusing juveniles in Gurnee in exchange for vape materials and cannabis.

A Round Lake Park man charged with sexually abusing juveniles in Gurnee in exchange for vape materials and cannabis was arrested during a court hearing after a judge doubled his bond.

Isai J. Gonzaga, 26, of the 400 block of Brierhill Road in Round Lake Park, attended an in-person court hearing Thursday after previously posting 10% of his $250,000 bond.

Defense attorney Alana DeLeon said in court that Gonzaga could only afford to pay an additional $500 toward a higher bond.

DeLeon said that Gonzaga, who is a Zion-Benton Township High School graduate, had no previous arrests and did well on a pretrial risk assessment.

She also said he was living at home with his parents and siblings, and suggested that electronic monitoring and continued in-person hearings would allow the court to "keep tabs on him."

Assistant State's Attorney Mary Stanton requested the bond increase after an additional victim came forward.

Stanton argued for a significant bond increase and said that the original bond did not reflect the 10 counts recently added due to the third victim.

After hearing from both sides, Shanes ruled that he was doubling Gonzaga's bail to $500,000, noting that while he is presumed innocent, the charges against him involve multiple victims.

"The nature of the charges is quite serious. You are charged with 26 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse," Shanes said. "(Even) One count is a serious charge."

Gonzaga left in handcuffs to be processed at the Lake County Jail. He is charged with 26 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

The Gurnee Police Department began an investigation into Gonzaga after receiving suspicious behavior tips that he was selling vaping materials to minors.

Some on the Internet believe Jones will be calling for a full forensic audit of the 2020 election in Georgia.

Right now we know that Georgia has over 330,000 ballots missing their legally required chain of custody documentation making them illegitimate. But Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger ignored the fact these ballots were illegitimate and included them in the final counts giving the election to Joe Biden. This was not accurate or fair. These ballots alone will award this state to its rightful winners (don’t forget the two Senate seats stolen in this state as well):
