Sort of, the security of blockchain is that each block stores the data from the previous block with a hash used to verify that in this current block the data from the last block has not been tampered with in any way. So if the auditor says "yep all is well" and all is NOT well, without open sourcing the blockchain (which w ll not happen cause privacy groups will go fucking bonkers) it is essentially useless as a verification measure
