That would be Ray Gricar. He also prosecuted the case with the [believed to be serial killer] trucker who murdered Dawn Marie Birnbaum. I don't think they are directly connected, but still interesting since many of these kinds of crimes appear orchestrated by the same people.
Yes, he's the one. There were several accounts of him looking into kids claiming sexual types of crimes, that somehow ended up being swept under the rug. Kept hitting dead ends, iirc. The papers kept leaving me with the impression that he had discovered Sandusky's whole operation and couldn't handle the weight of it, or how it would destroy the community and the university. I always had my reasons for thinking that Graham spanier and a few others knew Sandusky was running a child trafficking org dressed up as a charity. That charity had its logo feces on everything back in the day. I suspect a lot of VIPs would have known about it and frequented it, especially in football season.
As soon as JS was arrested, the org folded like a cheap suit, and disappeared from all papers, ads, etc. Media never mentioned them ever again, like they had never existed.
