I've read the Torah in the original Hebrew - it is man-handled. It was not authored by "Moses", it is a concoction/compilation of 4 independent sources J (Yahwist), E (Eloist), P (Priestly) and D (Deutoronomic) which were heavily redacted and re-compiled under Ezra. It is thoroughly man-handled. What you "believe" about this book is not true & the same was/is true with the Jews/Muslims on the whole. You're reading it in English is your problem.

The Hebrew word translated "divided" is actually "distinguished" and/or "discerned", not "divided". It is written elohim distinguished darkness from the light. The same applies to truth and not truth: one must be able to discern between was is not true (ie. dark) from what is true (ie. light).

What knowledge is to light, "belief" is to darkness as only a "believer" can "believe" evil is good (see: Islam).

If you read the Torah in English, you really won't have a clue what it is actually saying. Nonetheless: it is still man-handled.

The word "Satan" literally means the "expression of being bound in an ongoing state).

One is adversarial if/when they "believe" that which is not true. The alternative is consciously knowing what is true, the same state an all-knowing god would/must be in.
