(Please read from the start)

We still don’t have much information about the Shenu Ring, apart it was used by the Thunderbirds and it had a protective function. As for it being elongated and turning into the Cartouche, well, I rather not make a judgment on that. And I’m repeating that it’s a misinterpretation when they link it to the symbol of eternity, infinity and Ouroboros etc. That is very wrong and misleading.

I want to check some of the artifacts related to it:

1 – I posted the picture of the first item in the previous page = 933. It’s a pendant with Horus holding 2 Shen rings. I want anons to take a close look at the Ankh represented under the wings of the deity. It’s depicted in the same artifact along with the Shenu ring, yet both look different. So in no shape or form the Ankh symbol is a stretched Shenu ring like some people think it is. That is also a wrong interpretation.

2 – The second and third pictures are of Isis with the Shenu ring. Apparently it’s a rare iconography, I managed to find only 3 of them. The first one is in the previous page and the second with third one are attached with this page. I’m not surprised to see Isis with the Shenu ring because she is linked to the Thunderbirds and as I’ve said before, I think she is some kind of their leader.

3 – In the third artifact where Isis is represented, it’s a relief where Nephthys is also represented. It’s a funerary scene where we can see both goddesses on each side of the deceased and we have a ThunderBird flying over the dead person holding the Shen ring. I think it’s to protect the deceased person.

4 – This picture is of a Shenu ring on top of a Solar Disk Crown. The Ancient Egyptian deities were famous for wearing the Solar Disk Crown (at least most of the deity do). Some researchers interpreted the Shenu ring as a form of the Solar Disk Crown. If it was the Solar Disk Crown then why represent it twice, one on top of the other in this relief? It’s represented like that because it’s not the Solar Disk Crown. It’s something else, it has another meaning.

The only difference on how this specific Shen ring is depicted is that it’s upside down. When we compare it to the others, most of the others have the tangent line on the lower side, not the upper like it’s the case with this one. The reason for it to be this way might because of practical, esthetic reasons since we have 2 circular objects. But after observation of all the pictures (including the pictures I’m attaching with the next page), it seems like the Shen Ring is held by the round/circular end/part. While the tangent line is held towards the “target”/opponent or should I say where it’s going to “shoot”.

5 – The last 2 pictures I’m attaching to this page are of 2 stelas. On both of them, the Shenu ring is depicted between 2 Wedjats = Eye of Horus. We usually have the sun disk with 2 snakes, usually depicted between the 2 Wedjats = representing the Eye of Ra (picture page 69). We already know that the Eye of Ra is a weapon and as I’ve said before, I think the Wedjat’s snake shape is the lightning coming out of the ThunderBird’s blasters that are represented as the Eye of Horus. On these stelas we have the Shen ring depicted in the spot usually reserved for the Eye of Ra (= weapon) and we have the Eye of Horus ( = weapon) represented on each side of it. Anons, it’s clear as day here, on these stelas = the Shen Ring is a weapon used by the ThunderBirds. For me, this iconography is a CONFIRMATION the Shen Ring is a weapon.
