“Doves were also prominent animal symbols associated with Inanna/Ishtar. Doves are shown on cultic objects associated with Inanna as early as the beginning of the third millennium BC. Lead dove figurines were discovered in the temple of Ishtar at Aššur, dating to the thirteenth century BC and a painted fresco from Mari, Syria shows a giant dove emerging from a palm tree in the temple of Ishtar, indicating that the goddess herself was sometimes believed to take the form of a dove.”
>> This symbol is also tricky. It can be one of 2 possibilities:
1 – It can the sub-symbol of the Evil Lady. I’ve already talked about the secondary or sub-symbol of the King of kings which I think it’s the fish men. These are the Spiritual Healers which had the same/similar power as the King, but he was the most powerful one among the Healers. These Healers are like a religious order with their own “cast”/ group, non-military, with the King of kings as their head. We’ve also seen the Spider as the secondary = sub-symbol of Neith = the Queen of queens. Just like with the fishmen, this was like a special religious order made of mostly women = Seers. This group had the power of Oracles, just like Neith whom was the most powerful one and their leader. I don’t think there was a big demographic number of these sub-groups. I see them more like a limited number of people with special, rare abilities.
If this was the case for 2 of the Sebetti rulers = the Royal couple, so why couldn’t it be the case for the other Sebetti rulers? I think they do have a sub-symbol, with special ability. I still don’t know what the ability of the Evil Lady is. It’s possible the dove could be her sub-symbol. Even if it turned out to be this, I have no idea what her ability could be so far. Also, if the dove turns out to be her sub-symbol, then it could explain why she is represented with wings sometimes. She didn’t just steal for her armor the wings of the ThunderBirds, but it could also represent the Dove wings. It’s a possibility that should be investigated further. Let’s see what we will find later on.
2 – Since she stole the wings of the ThunderBirds armor and merged them into her own, later generation misunderstood the provenance of the wings and a mutation happened: given them a gentle touch of being those of a dove.
It can be either one of these 2 possibilities.
“As the planet Venus
Inanna was associated with the planet Venus, which is named after her Roman equivalent Venus. Several hymns praise Inanna in her role as the goddess or personification of the planet Venus. Theology professor Jeffrey Cooley has argued that, in many myths, Inanna's movements may correspond with the movements of the planet Venus in the sky. In Inanna's Descent to the Underworld, unlike any other deity, Inanna is able to descend into the netherworld and return to the heavens. The planet Venus appears to make a similar descent, setting in the West and then rising again in the East. An introductory hymn describes Inanna leaving the heavens and heading for Kur, what could be presumed to be the mountains, replicating the rising and setting of Inanna to the West. In Inanna and Shukaletuda, Shukaletuda is described as scanning the heavens in search of Inanna, possibly searching the eastern and western horizons. In the same myth, while searching for her attacker, Inanna herself makes several movements that correspond with the movements of Venus in the sky.”
