The third and last thing I want to check is the goddess Neith: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neith
“Neith /ˈniː.ɪθ/ (Koinē Greek: Νηΐθ, a borrowing of the Demotic form Ancient Egyptian: nt, likely originally to have been nrt "she is the terrifying one"; Coptic: also spelled Nit, Net, or Neit) was an early ancient Egyptian deity. She was said to be the first and the prime creator, who created the universe and all it contains, and that she governs how it functions. She was the goddess of the cosmos, fate, wisdom, water, rivers, mothers, childbirth, hunting, weaving, and war.”
>> Holy Heavens! Read and reread this slowly anons. Neith names means = the terrifying one. It echoes with what was said about the Sebetti on page 789 = the champions without peer, the personified weapons and the terrifying Seven. I have a big smile on my face, right now.
Neith is also SAID to be the PRIME and FIRST CREATOR of the Universe and all it contains. She also governs how the Universe functions as in she was a queen.
Look at her characteristics anons and of what Neith was the goddess of: Cosmos, FATE, WISDOM, Rivers, Mothers, CHILDBIRTH, Hunting, Weaving and WAR. Where did we see an almost identical deity in this thread before? = it’s Isis (starting page 846).
Loads of anons are going to ask: how can this be? It’s easy anons, go read back Isis (page 849). First of all Isis’ is not a name, it’s her title that was confused as being her name. In Ancient Egypt her name was ꜣst which meant QUEEN (I call her Isis out of habit despite that I know it’s wrong to do so). Second, in the same page, it’s said that ISIS wasn’t mentioned in NAME, along with Osiris, until the 5th Dynasty in the Old Kingdom. But we know that their cult was incredibly old, going back to pre-dynastic times. Their Egyptians names (ꜣst & ꜣsjr) didn’t show up till the Fifth Dynasty. So what were these 2 names called before = during pre-dynastic times and during the first 4 Dynasties? Where was Isis during these ancient times? What was her name? What was she called?
As for Neith name is an epithet which means the terrifying one; which indicates we still don’t have the real name of the Queen. But the cult of Neith dates back to pre-dynastic times; which means it’s older than the cult of Isis. I’m in the mindset Isis is Neo-Neith = as in a mutated, softer form of Neith.
Not convinced anons? Well, let’s continue to read about Neith to see if the Old Man is right or wrong.
“Neith was the tutelary deity of Sais (Coptic: Sai from Egyptian Zau), where her cult was centered in the western Nile Delta of Lower Egypt. It is attested as early as the First Dynasty. Neith was also one of the three tutelary deities of the southern city of Latopolis (Koinē Greek: Λατόπολις) or Esna (Snē) (Sahidic Coptic: ⲥⲛⲏ from earlier Egyptian: t3-snt, also iwnyt) Latopolis was located on the western bank of the River Nile some 55 kilometres (34 mi) south of Luxor (Thebes).”
>> Neith was from Lower Egypt just like how Isis was. What a coincidence?!
