Anyone else having trouble screen shotting stuff?

I tried to take a screen shot, then a video screen capture to make a meme and all I get is a black screen. That was on Hulu watching Star Trek. Other stuff still works,

I had to take a picture.

Quite Frankly, it is peak gay.
