End Times Delusions # 47: Battle Of The ISMs - Historicism: When History And Prophecy Shake Hands

Today literally millions of people who study bible prophecy have their eyes fixed upon Jerusalem. Right now, all over "planet Earth", Christians are talking about the modern state of Israel, a rebuilt Jewish temple and a final battle called Armageddon involving Russia, China and the Jews.

What is the (biblical) truth?

Does the book of revelation really focus on the middle East?

Walter Veith - The Battle Is Raging In The Church - Episode 1

SPIRITUAL WARFARE is needed in

these last days…

Evil is a living reality in the world we live in. Evil in the media, blatant blasphemy. If evil is a reality then God is a reality too. If the devil has removed God from public venues, we can be sure he works to remove Him from the hearts of people and replace the truth about God with false doctrines. Is the world improving in morality? If they’re getting worse on the natural level, how much more on the spiritual level. Where is the battle raging? In the church. Shouldn’t we expect the devil to be most active in the church? We shouldn’t be surprised by false doctrines even within the church. Syncretism – we claim to believe God but worship Him in the style of Baal. There is only one truth. The truth, in each of its Bible definitions, is being attacked. The war needs to be fought. God doesn’t use Satan’s weapons. The Word has to be paramount. Reformers believed the Word was the absolute criteria – Sola Scriptura. And so must it be to the end of time.

Do you know what a pig in a human body is, or how about a wolf in sheep's clothing? In searching out the root cause of all of these events we will reveal how they connect to the mysteries of Daniel's prophecy which is found in Daniel chapter 9 and the coming end of the world.

Nachash: Seed of the Serpent in Genesis

May 21, 2021

JUST IN anons: Trey Smith

Biblical Hebrew there is a strong connection between the ‘Nachash’ and dark supernatural forces. The Biblical Hebrew word for ‘sorcery’ or ‘witchcraft’ is serpent, meaning "Nachash".

So, this is a documentary on Genesis about that angelic, serpentine, shining one. We will also be looking at the Enuma Elish which also seems to tell us about this otherworldly Nachash serpent, called the Tiamat in Akkadian.

Genesis 3:

Now the serpent (Nachash) was more crafty (Arum) than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made.

Nachash said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?” 2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, 3 but God said, ‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’” 4 But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

Nachash: Seed of the Serpent has a run time of roughly 1 hour 35 minutes. This documentary is part II of the Genesis series by the God in Nutshell project.

Over at God in a Nutshell there is an EXTREMELY extended version of this film. Additionally, the part I of the Genesis series, "Garments from the Garden of God," also is available for immediate streaming.

Nazareth, Jesus' Hometown, Mt. Precipice, Christ Rejected, Church of Annunciation, Synagogue Church

HolyLandSite

May 21, 2021

Jesus returned to His hometown of Nazareth and was rejected by His own people. They were so angry that He claimed to be the Messiah that they attempted to throw Him off a cliff close-by to their town. Click the donate link below to support our work in producing videos about the Holy Land

Location

  1. Nazareth is in the northern part of Israel in the Lower Galilee area.

  2. It’s about 15 miles (24 km.) southwest of the Sea of Galilee, about 3.5 miles (5.6 km.) southwest of Cana, and about 23 miles (37 km.) inland from the Mediterranean Sea.

Historical Background

  1. Nazareth had an estimated population of around 300 during the time of Christ.

  2. It’s a famous town because this is where the Angel Gabriel announced the miraculous virgin birth to Mary.

  3. Nazareth is also the place where Jesus grew up.

  4. It was a small farming town where everyone knew each other.

  5. For some reason, Nazareth had a bad reputation (John 1:43-46).

Places of Interest

  1. Church of the Annunciation (also known as the Basilica of the Annunciation)

  2. Mary’s Well

  3. Greek Catholic Church

  4. Synagogue Church

  5. Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation

  6. St. Joseph’s Church

  7. Mensa Christi Church

  8. Greek Catholic Church

  9. Mt. Precipice

Nazareth & Mt. Precipice In the Bible

  1. Nazareth was the home of Joseph and Mary and the place where the angel Gabriel was sent to announce to the Virgin Mary that she would be the mother of Christ the Messiah (Luke 1:26-38).

  2. There have been two churches built here to commemorate this announcement. One is called, the “Church of the Annunciation,” and the other, the “Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation.” The most likely place, which has the most archaeological and historical evidence is the Church of the Annunciation.

  3. After living in Egypt for some time after Christ’s birth, His parents returned to Nazareth where Jesus grew up (Matthew 2:19-23).

  4. Jesus lived in Nazareth until He started His earthly ministry at the age of 30. From Nazareth, Christ relocated and set up His ministry home base in Capernaum (Matthew 4:13–17).

  5. Jesus was rejected by His own townspeople at Nazareth and was unable to perform many miracles there due to their lack of faith in Him (Luke 4:14-27).

  6. Those who knew Christ best rejected Him and attempted to throw Him off a cliff close-by to their town. Today, this place is called Mount Precipice (Luke 4:28–30).

Faith Lesson from Nazareth

  1. Nazareth had a bad reputation. God oftentimes places light in the dark so the light can illuminate the darkness. Are we being lights where we live?

  2. The people of Nazareth largely rejected Christ. It shouldn’t surprise us if we too are rejected because of our faith in Christ and adherence to His Word.

  3. Christ was rejected so He understands when we are rejected by our close friends and family members because of our faith in Him.

  4. Do we reject Christ by refusing His offer of salvation, by refusing to be obedient Him, or by not sharing our faith with those around us?
