Totally agree. Not always easy to do on a small retirement budget.
But My purchases are very few anymore except for groceries and old truck repairs.
My diet is changing to avoid brands of processed precooked foods and spices.
Fresh vegetables, meats, beans, and rice.
Salt pepper onion and garlic flavors.
Wish there were some lists of brands.
