I think Hobbs was reacting to the voting machine screw ups in the primaries.
My SWAG is that there was a good guy intervention designed to show the bad guys that they, the good guys, knew the algorithm and what was going on.
Hobbs, informed by the bad guys that the AZ boys pulled it off because they decrypted/reverse -engineered the algorithm off the AZ machines, called to tell the other AGs to watch their 6 and to raise the defcon level.
IOW, war between good and bad coders and it's not good for the bad guys wrt upcoming audits and lawsuits.
Ratinale on my part is because I think bad guys, in view of current scrutiny, would make sure these primaries were spotless in order to show the normies that there was no basis for the ongoing audits.
