The Rat-in-a-Trap Dr. Fauci finally admitted in his latest flip-flop that the COVID-19 virus may not have occurred naturally.

Fauci made the comments on far-left Politifact channel, an organization that itself has been pushing fake news on the COVID crisis for over a year.

Politifact hack: Sen. Rand Paul, who you have tangled with in the past, suggested that you and the NIH funded risky research that eventually down the line was connected to COVID-19? I don’t want to dwell on this for too long but I do want to give you that chance to react to his comments today.

Dr. Fauci: That’s actually preposterous. To bring something up is really not helpful. He was saying that we funded a kind of research in China that could lead to dangerous research. That’s not the case. So what he was saying was absolutely not true. It is really unfortunate that he brought that up. It really does nothing but cloud the issue of what we are trying to do. So it was just unfortunate that he said that.

Politifact hack: That has been the subject for a lot of our fact-checking on the coronavirus for the past year. There’s a lot of cloudiness around the origins of COVID-19 still. So I wanted to ask are you still confident that COVID developed naturally?

Dr. Fauci: No actually, that’s the point that I said. And I think that the real unfortunate aspect of what Senator Paul did was he was conflating research in a collaborative way with Chinese scientists which was — you’d almost have to say that if we did not do that then we’d be almost irresponsible because SARS-COVI-1 clearly originated in China… So we really had to learn a whole lot about the viruses that were there, about whether or not people were getting infected with bad viruses. So in a very minor collaboration as part of a sub-contract as part of a grant, we had a collaboration with some Chinese scientists. And what he conflated that was that we were involved in creating the virus. Which is the most ridiculous majestic leap I’ve ever heard of.

There it is.

Fauci just admitted:

** The virus may not have originated naturally — something he refuted earlier until now

** The US DID FUND Chinese research at the Wuhan Labs

** The US funded this research through NIH grants under his leadership

This was right after he accused Senator Paul of lying about this collaboration.

We now know that Senator Paul was 100% correct on his assertions during his Senate testimony.

And we now know that Dr. Anthony Fauci LIED under oath.

Fauci funded the Wuhan labs that leaked the COVID-19 virus and then shut down the US economy after the virus came to America.

It is hard to fathom how much damage this one man did to our country — and then lied about if for months.

And, one more thing — The frauds at Politifact “fact-checked” The Gateway Pundit for our reporting on the lab backin 2020.

13 dead after cable car plunges in Italian Alps, children among injured passengers

A major incident in northern Italy has left at least 13 people dead after a cable snapped, sending a cable car falling near a mountain peak. Two injured children were airlifted to Turin.

The incident happened on Sunday in the Italian Alps on the cableway line which connects the commune of Stresa near Lake Maggiore with the top of Mount Mottarone.

A car fell near a pylon in one of the highest points of the cableway close to the summit. The disaster occurred due to a cable failure, preliminary reports indicate.

The cable car fell from a “relatively high point,” an alpine rescue service spokesman, Walter Milan, told Italy’s Rai News broadcaster, adding that it appears to be “completely crumpled” and almost “destroyed,” indicating that the impact “was obviously significant.”

CNSAS, the Italian alpine rescue service, confirmed that 13 people were killed in the crash, adding that this figure could “unfortunately” rise even further. They also said two air ambulances were among the vehicles dispatched to the site of the incident. They airlifted two children who were injured after the fall to a hospital in Turin.

Italy’s Infrastructure Minister Enrico Giovannini called the incident a “truly terrible tragedy” and said that he already contacted local authorities and the rescue services.

The place where the tragedy happened is a popular tourist destination during both summer and winter. The cableway started operating in the 1960s and underwent an upgrade several years ago, restarting after a pause in 2016. The cable car can accommodate up to 40 passengers.

China has Infiltrated the U.S. Military Biodefense Program at Fort Detrick

The shocking story of how China has infiltrated the U.S. military biodefense program at Fort Detrick.

Chunying Hua, spokeswoman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, has promoted the conspiracy theory that Fort Detrick is the origin of the COVID-19 virus.

Although such a claim is patently ridiculous, there may be a kernel of truth in it, given how much knowledge and skills may have been obtained by Chinese scientists working in Fort Detrick’s virus laboratories.

Make no mistake, the Chinese military is clearly “inside the wire.”

It is important to recognize the fact that, in China, there is no distinction between civilian and military research.

Although unofficial before then, the Chinese Communist Party declared the fusion of civilian and military research as an official goal in its 2016 Thirteenth Five-Year Plan.

It is also a fact that, more often than not, scientists born and trained in the People’s Republic of China (PRC), even after becoming U.S. citizens, never completely sever links with their home universities and research institutions, many of which are connected to the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA).

The U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID) at Fort Detrick has long been an espionage target of the PLA.

The PLA’s pathway to that target has been through the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research, which is inside Fort Detrick, only a few minutes walk from USAMRIID.

We will present a case in point because the examples are too numerous to document here, but they will be addressed in a future article.

Then, a report from Goldman published overnight reinforced just why a crackdown on Chinese mining is a good thing: as the bank's head of commodities, Jeff Currie wrotes, "while PoS protocols raise security concerns due to the need for trusted supervisors in the verification process, Bitcoin is also not 100% secure. Belarus Sends MiG Fighters To Divert Foreign Airliner, Arrests Anti-Lukashenko Journalist On Board

A bizarre and alarming incident which officials are calling unprecedented unfolded over the skies of Eastern Europe on Sunday. A Ryanair flight which had departed Athens and was en route to Vilnius - the capital of Lithuania - was forced to land in Belarus to allow state intelligence and security services to detain a journalist who's long been critical of President Alexander Lukashenko.

Bloomberg has identified the detained journalist is Raman Pratasevich, described as "the former editor-in-chief of the most popular Telegram news channel in Belarus" who was "arrested in the Minsk airport after the plane landed, according to the Minsk-based human rights center Viasna, which is not officially registered by the country’s authorities."

Neighboring Lithuania had earlier issued Pratasevich asylum after Belarusian authorities had put him on a "terror watch list" related to his journalistic activities, given the 26-year old blogger and activist helped spearhead last year's anti-Lukashenko demonstrations which at times shut down large parts of central Minsk following the disputed August 2020 election which resulted in prolonging the autocrat's rule to a sixth term (which will see him into three decades in power).

The journalist has been dubbed an "extremist" for his role in covering and participating in protests which officials also alleged there was a "foreign hand" behind which had covert NATO support. Pratasevich now faces a severe sentence - if he even goes to trial at all, with some supporters going so far as to suggest a possible death penalty case.

Astoundingly, Belarus' military had scrambled MiG fighter jets in order to divert the plane to Minsk. Bloomberg continues, "The plane, which was flying over Belarus en route to Lithuania, was escorted to Minsk by a MiG-29 fighter jet after a bomb threat, Belarusian state news agency Belta reported, citing the Minsk airport’s press service."

The bomb threat, however, is being widely perceived as but a ruse which ensured the plane would be on Belarusian soil in order to facilitate the controversial detention.

Germany's Deutsche Welle details:

An airport spokesperson told the agency that although authorities did not find any explosive devices on the plane, it was unclear when it would be allowed to take off again.

The opposition Telegram channel Nexta also reported that the plane was searched and that authorities detained the outlet's former editor, Roman Protasevich.

"The plane was checked, no bomb was found and all passengers were sent for another security search," said Nexta. "Among them was… Nexta journalist Roman Protasevich. He was detained."

No full access for UN inspectors to nuclear sites after stopgap deal expired – Iranian parliament speaker

As the Vienna nuclear talks have not led to a breakthrough, Iran must ramp up pressure and further limit its commitments under the 2015 nuclear deal, the parliament said. The IAEA could be denied access to surveillance materials.

The Iranian government must not “compromise the technical achievements of the nuclear industry with its political goals and objectives,” and must implement a law that sets a roadmap for moving away from the international nuclear agreement known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), Iranian lawmakers said.

This includes barring the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) from accessing surveillance footage and Tehran’s own records from nuclear sites, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said on Sunday.

“We are determined that the [law] be implemented at specific times,” he said during an open session of parliament. As of May 22, the IAEA “has no right to access the camera footage and information of the Atomic Energy Organization [of Iran].”

Ghalibaf was referring to a law passed by the parliament in December 2020, which instructed the government to take a number of measures to increase the pressure on the other signatories of the JCPOA. The nuclear deal, which was signed under former US President Barack Obama, offered Iran economic sanctions relief and business opportunities in exchange for accepting restrictions on its nuclear industry. The Trump administration withdrew from the agreement and pursued what it called a ‘maximum pressure campaign’, imposing numerous rounds of sanctions on Iran and its trade partners.

Tehran requested that the European signatories shield it from Washington’s pressure, and after finding their response to be unsatisfactory, has gradually reneged more and more on its part of the bargain. The Biden administration said it wanted to return to the agreement, but the talks in Vienna to work out a path to restoring the JCPOA have yet to result in a breakthrough.

The Iranian law set several deadlines by which the government must take steps like installing additional enrichment centrifuges and producing a certain amount of enriched uranium. In February, the Iranian nuclear agency was ordered to suspend the monitoring of nuclear activities by the IAEA under the Additional Protocol.

Teachers union boss gets shellacked for saying teachers, who spent months at home, are exhausted and need to be nourished

The president of the second-largest teachers union in the United States got slammed for recently saying that teachers are "tired and exhausted," despite being at home for months. American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten also said that "we have to find a way to repair and nourish" teachers, which was lampooned by online commenters.

Weingarten appeared on MSNBC Friday night, where she attempted to persuade viewers that the AFT wants to reopen schools, despite having yet to commit to in-person learning in the fall.

"Number one we want schools to reopen for a rapport and we don't want outbreaks," Weingarten said. "We want schools open and we want them to stay open."

But Weingarten said that teachers "don't want to be the mask police," adding that Texas and Iowa made a politically motivated decision to "rush to say no mask mandates when we still don't have a vaccine that's okay for elementary school students."

"Well there's two plans: one is for the summer and one is for the fall," the union boss of 1.7 million members said. "In the fall we have to first and foremost create a safe and welcoming environment."

Weingarten attempted to garner sympathy for teachers.

"Teachers are tired; they are exhausted," she said. "We have to find a way to repair and nourish them as well as families in terms of attracting and retaing our teaching force."

Online commenters mocked Weingarten's comments about teachers being "exhausted."

UNSEEN VIDEO: BLM Founder Labels Police ‘Terrorist Organization,’ ‘Always’ Wanted To ‘Fight Them.’

Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors labeled police a “terrorist organization” in an unearthed video from 2015, where she asserts she “always” wanted “to fight police.”

The remarks come from a speech at King’s College London as part of the Ferguson Solidarity Tour of the United Kingdom. Cullors reveals that her activism is rooted in a lifelong desire to “fight the police” and conflates the group to a “terrorist organization”:

“I joined organization when I was 17 years old, and I remember the first thing I said to the organization was “do you fight police?” That’s what I wanted to do. I always knew I wanted to fight police. They were the single most, sort of, terrorist organization in my life, and I wanted to know how to fight them.”

“So I started doing work when I was 17 years old against the police,” she adds before detailing how she “ran campaigns that focused on trying to get them out of high schools” and “ran campaigns that focused on decriminalizing young people’s lives.”

Cullors also conflates police to terrorists when describing the motives of the Black Lives Matter, alleging her group seeks to combat “the impact that racism, that terrorism – an I say terrorism I’m talking about police – has on our lives.”

During the event, which was hosted by student groups including Action Palestine, the Intersectional Feminist Society, the African Caribbean Society, and King’s Ethnic Minority Association, Cullors also instructs her audience on how to “shut sh*t down.”

In response to the Ferguson Riots, Cullors recounted how it prompted “many of us go back into our own neighborhoods and shut shit down.”

“One of the biggest things I learned about Ferguson is it does not take 2,000 people to shut shit down. Five people can shut a freeway down. We did it in Los Angeles. 10 people can shut a Walmart down. We did it in Ferguson,” she continued.

Cullors also talks about “occupying” Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) headquarters:

“We’ve been shutting shit down since August 9th. We are still shutting shit down. In Los Angeles, for example, we occupied the Los Angeles Police headquarters for 18 days.”

This unearthed video follows The National Pulse revealing Cullors relishing people comparing her work for its similarities to former Chinese Communist Party Mao Zedong’s “Little Red Book” in a 2010 speech. “I was speaking to this young person from Arizona who’s trying to fight SB 1070, and he grabbed a book, and he said, “It’s like Mao’s Red Book.” [Laughter] And I was like man, that’s what I was thinking, and it was just really cool to hear him make that connection, and I was like how about you buy 10 to 15 of these books and you all have like a youth organizing group where you talk about it and you really try to engage this,” the Black Lives Matter co-founder commented.

Gretchen Whitmer Violates Own Coronavirus Orders at Dive Bar

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) hit the bar this weekend and violated her own coronavirus orders, according to a photo Breitbart News has exclusively obtained.

Whitmer and a large group of friends, including her appointed chief operations officer, Tricia Foster, visited the Landshark in East Lansing, violating her restaurant orders in the process, according to a photo one of the attendees posted on Facebook.

The group shot of 13 individuals appeared to violate the governor’s restaurant capacity order issued May 15 on “gathering limitations for entertainment establishments, recreational establishments, and food service establishments”:

b. Gatherings are prohibited at food service establishments, whether indoor or outdoor, unless:

Consumption of food or beverages is permitted only in a designated dining area where patrons are seated, groups of patrons are separated by at least 6 feet, no more than 6 patrons are seated together (at a table, booth, or group of fixed seats), and groups of patrons do not intermingle

While Whitmer’s group did not wear masks, a bouncer at the Landshark — a dive bar in the college town — could be seen with his face covered.

“Last week Whitmer refused to immediately end her ridiculous restrictions, like a maximum of 6 patrons per table for indoor dining,” Tori Sachs, executive director of Michigan Freedom Fund, told Breitbart News.

“Now Whitmer has once again completely disregarded her own rules. Whitmer orders rules she and her staff don’t follow themselves while Michiganders and businesses suffer. Whitmer must end her restrictions immediately.”

Michigan Freedom Fund called on Whitmer to immediately lift all orders this week, a recommendation the governor ignored.

In April, Breitbart News caught Foster defying Whitmer’s demand to not travel to Florida for spring break. Foster posted photos of her trip with unvaccinated teens to the Keys and acknowledged she left one of her children at home “with covid [coronavirus].”

Other bars in East Lansing were targeted by the Ingham County Health Department and East Lansing Police Department in October after the allegedly violated Whitmer’s orders.

Multiple sources have confirmed to ELi that Dublin Square, Lou & Harry’s, FieldHouse and The Tin Can Bar were believed to have violated related to state and county health orders.

The potential violations taken together included being over capacity, people not wearing masks or taking them off too much, people going from tables to the bar to order drinks, and too many people seated in one group, Ingham County Health Officer Linda Vail said.

Vail “found a place way over capacity,” she told ELi, although she declined to name any specific bars.
