Mmmm. Wood pulp.

"McDonald's had the most menu items containing cellulose, with the wood-pulp additive present in shredded cheese, fish fillet patties, biscuits, sausage and scrambled egg mix, smoothie base, syrup, ice cream, barbecue sauce, sweet 'n' sour sauce and honey mustard sauce.

Quartz reported McDonald’s finished first, with 14 menu items containing cellulose. Burger King trailed closely behind with 13 menu items like buns, tortillas, tacos, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, pancakes and several others."

"Food scientist John Coupland of Penn State says it doesn't matter much where the cellulose comes from. In theory, you could extract it from any plant, from asparagus to onions, but he says that would be a waste of good food."

Cellulose is basically plant fiber, and one of the most common sources is wood pulp. Manufacturers grind up the wood and extract the cellulose.

Doctors are recommending the shingles vax.

"Shingles is caused by the varicella-zoster virus — the same virus that causes chickenpox. After you've had chickenpox, the virus lies inactive in nerve tissue near your spinal cord and brain. Years later, the virus may reactivate as shingles.

Shingles isn't a life-threatening condition, but it can be very painful. Vaccines can help reduce the risk of shingles."

>(re: wood pulp in modern foods) good roughage

Yes. But also basically fraud:

"Are you getting what you pay for on your plate?

The recent class-action lawsuit brought against Taco Bell raised questions about the quality of food many Americans eat each day."

Also - Kommissbrot

"The nutritional value of kommissbrot was studied by Prausnitz in 1893 and by Wenceslaus Plagge and Georg Lebbin in 1897.

It was used as military provisions in World War I, when sawdust was sometimes added to compensate for shortages of flour"

>Shingles is after the fact and ONLY if you had chicken pox. I have my first shot in

Yeah. I did the two earlier this year. Asked the nurse to let me read the insert prior getting jacked. I asked her if it was "experimental" or "emergency use only" (knowing it wasn't, but subtly reminding her that the co-vaxx is experimental).

The shingles vax has been around for quite some time and well tested.

Not to arbitrarily trust doctors, but if it is recommended to take it later, I wouldn't take it earlier. I don't like unknown (to me) stuff getting jacked into my veins.
