This has been posted before, but it brings something important to mind:
Namely, the way in which EVERY aspect of the government has been weaponized against the people over the years. Wind back to 2001 or whenever the Patriot Act went into full effect. All the fuckery we've seen from the data skimming agencies, plus the formation of DHS, add to that the thumb print readers on most phones now, the doorbell cameras, and on and ON.
It gets to the point where a Post Office facial scan database comes across as like "Oh yeah, that figures." Just like getting the IRS to harrass tea party voters, or Capitol cameras to identify "insurrectionists." Talk about a fucking dystopia, we are already there my friends.

The entire purpose of market run-ups (and run-downs) is to get the lemmings to jump in and out in a predictable pattern, right. It is the people who KNOW bitcoin is worthless fiat who can calmly take the most advantage of it.
Probably the real story is how they seem to be orchestrating this to keep people's focus off of gold and silver. At least that is my perception. BTC can't be an organic Satoshi next-gen payment system….not when we have a history of DARPA and CIA throwing things at us like FB. See it for what it is, a hype-driven funnel to collect wealth, take advantage if you can. But don't hold out for it to be the future of transaction mediums; more like the future enslavement tool.
A much more compelling use of blockchain, IMO, would be if we could get past the 'currency' aspect into something more like the NFT's that are starting to emerge. If there was a 'unit' that was basically a representation of skillset value, for example. Then I think we would be getting a lot closer to a Star Trek type of system. But in order for that to function correctly it would need to be 100% decentralized and existing apart from international borders and controls. No bankers, no governments, just human to human value recogniztion. Imagine the freedom we would have from the central bankers and land-based governments then.
Plenty of hardware wallets are made of steel, so I don't know why they would not withstand an EMP.
Right, we are still a ways off from a kind of non-monetary human credit system. Not sure how to measure one's 'value' to society. There are some offshoots of NFT's starting to emerge for people like musicians. Baked into the code is a percentage kickback for every time the product is re-sold. That doesn't help someone like a farmer though.
As long as governments control it, that is exactly what it will be like. It would take something completely outside of their control or the central banks for us to really be free IMO. Gold and Silver served that need in centuries past, but would seem impractical for conducting a modern global economy.
I know exactly what MJ12 said about Bitcoin, that it was a clown op. Not sure what specifically they said about blockchain. Catherine Austin Fitts is smart, but I'll believe a QFS system when I see it. The key point in any system to me is, does the government or central bank control it? IF the much vaunted QFS or whatever can wrest control from the overlords and give it back to us, then great. I am skeptical of that.

Saw an awesome storm cloud yesterday evening, off in the distance. It was lighting up from within every few seconds, non stop for at least 20 minutes that I watched. Never did see an actual bolt of lightning, nor hear any thunder. Just repeating flashes of light from within that lit up that whole part of the sky. Must have been too far away to hear, but I would have guessed only about 5 miles.
Never seen one like that before. Sky event was pretty trippy.
