For those that did and do care: the amish, anabaptist, left Europe to try a new life elsewhere away from the insanity of masses of people who believe loads of crap. Living a way of life is a different thing from ‘defending it’ and different again from PUSHING it upon others. The anabaptist today are light years ahead in terms of survival and prosperity when/if people really want to discuss the basic necessities of life. To imagine big guns, tanks and space lasers come first in importance to food, clothing and shelter… is the ultimate folly of those who think the “Amish enjoy the protections of that which they can’t do for themselves”
