Start a class action lawsuit against your college, they are violating the Nuremberg code and the HIPAA law, they cannot ask you ask your health or anything else. It’s a federal law, sue them and get your buddies in on it. I’m as pissed off as you, but I’ve had 24 years in the insurance industry they are violating federal law and until someone challenges them they’ll get away with. Class action now

I told them No! You’re not my doctor and you are not allowed to give advice on my health, I have a duct or for that. Threatening your job is discrimination and a violation of federal law. Hand the the bill of rights, and tell them I’ve spoken with an attorney, don’t worry I’m not going to sue you.
