I can definitely see the monetary factor at play for those not wanting to work, but I think there are other factor's, as well.
Who knows WTF the real story is with virus's, disease agents, etc. Do you really want to mix in public until that is clarified?
With the demonizing of law & order and the emphasis on victim's rights, including a monetary windfall, who would to be out in that environment if you don't have to be?
With the lack of any recognizable vision and predictable course forward presented by the government, why risk taking on a job when it could be closed down when the next "wave" is proclaimed to be underway? If you gave up your unemployment to take a job, would you have to run the risk of a dry spell when you reapply?
How much are the intangibles worth dollar-wise? What's the bottom line figure necessary before someone is confident that giving up the bird in the hand is worth the risk? I'd guess it has to be in the hundreds.
That could be why the people seem to be waking up. The government in place now isn't trustworthy enough to risk your financial status quo on any decisions they make. The government is fucking with, and has complete control over, the normies ability to make a living.
