the rabbit hole is deep.

The Biscione

The biscione[a] ("grass snake"), also less commonly known as the vipera[b] ("viper"), is a heraldic charge showing on argent an azure serpent in the act of consuming a human (usually a child and sometimes described as a Moor or an Ottoman Turk). It is a historic symbol of the city of Milan.

The ruling bloodlines of Milan, the Visconti, the Sforza. This symbol is very old, reminds me of the myth of Dionysus turning into a half fish after he jumped to the river in an attempt to escape saturn the titan.

There is a lot of ancient cosmology in this myth, while the royal serpent swallowing a child is probably much more straight forward.

Now this is interesting:

Silvio Berlusconi, who was born and remains based in Milan, uses stylized biscione symbols in the logos for his companies Mediaset and Fininvest (with the child replaced by a flower); .

Remember when Q told us about their symbolism of slave gardens and deflowering?

The more we know.
