Two authors to check out from the last thirty years, Isbot and Gotto (sp?), both spoke at some length… it is not so much an issue of discipline, good and proper discipline is something everybody can use, especially when self-applied.
Issbott/Gotto talked about “deference to Authority”. Not the kind of authority of knowledge, but for the young children to end up coming out of school with a blind deference to authorities of force and superiority.
Absolutely disgusting.
