Good morning from an EU shithole, anons. Wondering if anyone here has recently flown from continental Europe back to the US, and could share info on the experience?

Anon might like to throw in the towel and return home, but am wondering about shit like

(1) mandatory "virus testing" with that long swab they shove up near your brain;

(2) mandatory masks on flights;

(3) any other equally insane, related shit.

Asking because anon probably would have a panic attack if forced to wear a mask for the 9+ hour flight.

Also, anon recently met a couple who flew within the EU and was forced to do that swab-thing both BEFORE getting on the plane, and then AFTER getting off. Because that makes sense, right? Well, guess what: both of them somehow "caught the virus" while on the plane, and had to be quarantined when they arrived at their destination. It's fucking obvious that they "caught the virus" from the first swab.

All of this has anon feeling trapped here. But if there are workarounds, if e.g. some airlines are less mad than others or some airports or better or whatever, would be grateful for the info, TY

Thanks, that's sort of what anon has been thinking generally … but IF the timeline turns out to be longer than we expect (which has happened 1000 times already), would like to know whether a flight is somehow doable. Gotta think of Plan B
