The Biden Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Mayorkas is moving to end a police program in Massachusetts that has helped take child rapists, attempted murderers and carjackers off the street.

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is moving to end a local police program in Bristol County, Massachusetts, that has helped take illegal alien child rapists, attempted murderers, assailants, carjackers, and others off the streets.

Last week, Mayorkas announced he was directing the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency to end its 287(g) agreement with Bristol County, Massachusetts, as well as terminating DHS use of detention facilities in Massachusetts and Georgia — both of which hold criminal illegal aliens.

The 287(g) program allows local police agencies to sign into agreements with ICE to seamlessly identify criminal illegal aliens and turn them over to federal agents for arrest and deportation.

Analysis from Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) Director of Investigations Jon Feere reveals that in Bristol County, the 287(g) program helped local police identify illegal aliens arrested and charged with egregious crimes against children and American citizens so as to more easily turn them over to ICE agents.

Blinken arrives in Tel Aviv to ‘bolster’ Gaza ceasefire as 500+ Biden campaign staffers call to ‘hold Israel accountable’

Over 500 Joe Biden campaign staffers have penned an open letter calling on the White House to pressure Israel to change its behavior, as Secretary of State Antony Blinken embarks on a trip to meet leaders in Tel Aviv.

Addressed directly to Biden, the letter asked the president to “unequivocally condemn Israel’s killing of Palestinian civilians” during a recent flare-up of fighting with armed groups in Gaza, arguing that Tel Aviv must be pressured to change the “underlying conditions” that give rise to periodic violence between the two sides.

“We commend your efforts to broker a ceasefire. Yet, we also cannot unsee the horrific violence that unfolded in recent weeks in Israel/Palestine, and we implore you to continue using the power of your office to hold Israel accountable for its actions and lay the groundwork for justice and lasting peace,” the staffers said.

To ensure a lasting ceasefire and a future of peace and security for Israelis and Palestinians, we ask that you work to end the underlying conditions of occupation, blockade, and settlement expansion…

The letter features a series of demands, urging Biden to push the Israeli government to end the blockade on Gaza and settlement expansion in the West Bank, including in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah, where looming evictions for Palestinian residents served as a flashpoint for the last round of fighting.

DC Attorney General Files Antitrust Lawsuit Against Amazon

Amazon shares skidded to session lows just before noon ET on Tuesday after Washington DC's Attorney General Karl Racine unveiled a new anti-trust lawsuit against the e-commerce giant, alleging that the company's practices have unfairly raised prices for consumers while suppressing competition and innovation.

As a result, the lawsuit is seeking to end Amazon's use of allegedly illegal price agreements to edge out competitors, recover damages and impose penalties. The lawsuit alleges that Amazon's conduct made it virtually impossible for third-party sellers to offer goods at a better price than Amazon.

The lawsuit, filed in Washington DC Superior Court, alleged that Amazon illegally maintained monopoly power by using contract provisions to prevent third-party sellers on its platform from offering their products for lower prices on other platforms. The attorney general’s office claimed the contracts create a “an artificially high price floor across the online retail marketplace,” according to a press release. The AG claimed these agreements ultimately harm both consumers and third-party sellers by reducing competition, innovation and choice.

Until 2019, Amazon included a clause in its third-party seller agreement that they couldn't offer goods on Amazon at a higher price than they were offered on other third-party platforms. Amazon eventually removed that provision amid growing anti-trust scrutiny.

The lawsuit comes as state AGs and the DoJ filed antitrust lawsuits against Google and Facebook; Amazon is also reportedly in the sights of federal regulators. But Tuesday’s action comes from Racine’s office alone.

Racine said on a call with reporters on Tuesday that the central focus of the lawsuit - contracts known as “most favored nation” agreements - was something that he felt should be taken on independently due to the sheer amount of work involved in bringing these types of lawsuits.

The Silvestro Family Supplied Election Tabulators to Most New England States for Decades – Will the Election of 2020 Be Their Last Gig?

The Silvestro Family has been supplying voting machine equipment to New Englanders for decades. But will the 2020 Election be their last?

Father John Silvestro has a LinkedIn profile where he claims to be the CEO and Treasurer of LHS Associates, Inc.

While he was the CEO of LHS Associates, John Silvestro was involved in a hearing in January 2008 to discuss the machines used in New Hampshire. A report of this discussion published in 2016 said:

This video calls into question the accountability of New Hampshire elections. Most New Hampshire vote counts are not observable. Votes have been counted on the Diebold Accuvote ballot scanner technology, which can easily create an incorrect result because it allows alteration of vote results.

Though a new version may address the particular vulnerability that was demonstrated, New Hampshire regulations require approval by the Ballot Law Commission before new versions can be installed, and that commission had not met to approve it prior to the 2008 presidential primary. New England vendor for the system (LHS Associates’ John Silvestro, of Londonderry New Hampshire) attempted to mislead the House Election Committee, making a false statement that the problem had been addressed while knowing that it had not.

The Silvestro’s show that it appears that the individuals who oversee elections in New Hampshire would rather protect their election results and citizens who sell them election products than protect their citizens from election abuse.

UK GCHQ spy agency’s bulk interception of communications ‘not in accordance with the law,’ European court rules

The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has ruled that GCHQ, the UK’s intelligence agency, violated the right to privacy by bulk intercepting online communications, claiming it was “not in accordance with the law.”

The ruling made on Tuesday stated that GCHQ’s approach did not provide sufficient protections for confidential journalistic material by engaging in bulk interception of online communications.

In its findings, the ECHR found three “fundamental deficiencies” in the GCHQ’s interception process: it had been authorised by a politician and not an independent body, search terms that would be flagged by the spy agency had not been included in the application for a warrant, and search terms linked to individuals had not been authorised internally prior to their use.

“In order to minimise the risk of the bulk interception power being abused, the court considers that the process must be subject to ‘end-to-end safeguards’,” the court’s judgement ruled, with the chamber’s judges warning that inaction could allow for spy agencies to establish ‘Big Brother’ in Europe.

The decision by the European court comes after a legal case brought against the UK intelligence agency by Big Brother Watch and others in the wake of whistleblowing revelations made by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden.

It is not the first time that the ECHR has ruled in favour of Big Brother Watch against GCHQ. In 2018, a similar ruling on the bulk interception of online communications stated that the spy agency had violated privacy and not included sufficient safeguards before surveilling citizens.

However, the European court has not always criticized GCHQ, claiming that the agency’s sharing of sensitive digital intelligence with foreign governments was not illegal, as well as stating that bulk collection would be potentially allowed if safeguards were in place.

GCHQ has not issued a public comment at this time in relation to the recent court ruling.

Windham, NH Elections Investigation Reveals Several Local Communities with Bizarre Date and Time Stamps

We are in the final stretch of the audit of the Windham, NH election anomaly which is scheduled to end this Thursday, May 27.

So far, this much we know. We do have a machine problem here in New Hampshire, as folds in the absentee ballots can cause our machines to erroneously record a vote if the fold goes through the oval for a candidate. In hindsight, it was no coincidence that all four of the Republican candidates who were shorted votes, were shorted almost the exact same amount, approximately 300 votes. What was a coincidence was the candidate who improperly gained votes, Kristi St. Laurent, also gained a multiple of 100, when it was discovered that she had incorrectly received an extra 99 votes.

It appears that the discovery of the fold/crease issue was due to the unique position of the New Hampshire House of Representative’s race on the ballot being right at the junction of the middle and lower third of the ballot, where a crease could cause this issue. Because the NH House race is on the same area of the page in each town, we have looked at machine tape results from several other communities, but have not seen the same error rate.

What we have seen though, is that many towns have bizarre date/time stamps on their machine tapes. Two towns, Londonderry and Amherst set one of their machines to zero and counted ballots on October 17 and October 23 respectively, 17 and 11 days before the election! Yes, an incorrectly set time clock could account for this, but why is this an issues in 2 of the 4 towns we have checked? Also, on several of the other Londonderry machines, they set the machine to zero around 11 PM, four hours after the polls closed when all ballots should’ve already been entered into the machines. They then ran final tally tapes three hours later. Were there observers from each party still in the room when this was done, many hours after the polls had closed?

This is also not the only machine problem we have discovered, as not all of the four Windham machines incorrectly read a crease through a candidates oval as a vote. In fact, of the four Windham machines, the one that was purchased last (and is, therefore, the newest) was the one that miscounted votes the most. It was also discovered that this machine is the one out of the four that has gone the longest without being recalibrated. So, the activities at the audit on Monday and Tuesday are designed to look at the innards of these four machines to see if dust or electronic issues can be causing the difference between these machines.

Although the cause of the vote discrepancy does not appear to be due to fraud, that does not absolve the Secretary of State for his lack of curiosity in explaining this abnormality, when he dismissed the discrepancy stating “it didn’t change the outcome of the election.” It also does not excuse the Attorney General for refusing to look into this issue either. Both of these State officials should be ashamed of their track record in this matter, only investigating when forced to do so by the NH Legislature.

So what does New Hampshire do going forward? If we decide to continue with machine voting, should we keep these dinosaurs of a voting machine? Why is it that the newest Windham machine had the most errors? We have been told by the analysts that because they are so old they are much harder to corrupt. If we keep them, do we stop folding absentee ballots and put them in larger manila envelopes so that they can stay flat? Or, if we continue with folding, do we hand count folded absentee ballots instead?

Did other New Hampshire communities also experience flawed machine counting?

My sense is that there is a growing dissatisfaction with machine counting of citizens’ votes and as the decision to machine count versus hand count is made by each town, I suspect there will be a growing din from New Hampshire’s citizens to cast aside electronic voting and return to the trusted hand count method. It’s only what England, Canada and Australia do for their Federal elections.

‘General agreements reached’ on Iran nuclear deal, Tehran says as 5th round of talks with US to revive accord begin

Iranian government spokesman Ali Rabiei has said he is “optimistic” about the progress of indirect negotiations between Tehran and Washington to revive the 2015 Iran nuclear deal ahead of a fifth round of talks in Vienna.

Efforts at securing the US and Iran’s full return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) agreement have been mediated by the treaty’s other signatories for several weeks in the Austrian capital.

“General agreements have been reached on major disputes,” Rabei told a news conference on Tuesday.

On the lifting of sanctions, the remaining cases are very minor, and given the negotiation process, we are optimistic about resolving the remaining minor and practical cases.

Iran's top negotiator at the talks, Abbas Araqchi, was more guarded in his comments to state media, saying “serious and important issues” still needed to be addressed.

There was also a positive outlook on the talks on Tuesday from Mikhail Ulyanov, the Russian negotiator and ambassador to the UN’s nuclear watchdog, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

In a tweet, he said the fifth round of negotiations “can be final,” but said to be on the safe side he “would prefer to say: let’s see.”

His US counterpart, Robert Malley, said in a tweet on Monday night that the previous round of talks was “constructive” but that “much work still needs to be done” to clinch an agreement.

US President Joe Biden has expressed willingness for America to return to the JCPOA, which relieves Iran from sanctions in return for restrictions stopping it from developing nuclear weapons – an aim Tehran denies. A revival of the JCPOA would reverse the 2018 decision by Biden’s predecessor Donald Trump to pull the US out of the agreement and instead impose fresh sanctions on Iran.

Moderna Says Its COVID-19 Vaccine Is 100 Percent Effective in Adolescents

Moderna on Tuesday said its COVID-19 vaccine was shown to be 100 percent effective in children between the ages of 12 and 17.

No cases of COVID-19 were observed in clinical trial participants who received two doses of Moderna’s shot, the Massachusetts-based biotechnology company said in a press release.

Moderna announced the results because it met its primary endpoint, which was a match to the vaccine’s ability to provoke an immune response seen in its trial among adults.

The phase two/three trial of children also showed an efficacy of 93 percent in seronegative participants 14 days or more after the first dose using the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) secondary definition, which requires one COVID-19 symptom and a nasal swab or saliva sample testing positive for the virus that causes the disease.

The trial, dubbed TeenCOVE, enrolled more than 3,700 participants between the ages of 12 and 17 in the United States. Moderna plans to submit the data to a peer-reviewed publication at some point and to regulators around the world next month, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which regulates vaccines and drugs in America.

“We are encouraged that mRNA-1273 was highly effective at preventing COVID-19 in adolescents. It is particularly exciting to see that the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine can prevent SARS-CoV-2 infection,” Stéphane Bancel, Moderna’s CEO, said in a statement. “We will submit these results to the U.S. FDA and regulators globally in early June and request authorization. We remain committed to doing our part to help end the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Moderna said its vaccine, known as mRNA-1273, was generally well tolerated in trial participants. The majority of adverse events were mild or moderate in terms of severity, with the most common being injection site pain, headache, fatigue, myalgia, and chills. Full data, including a breakdown of adverse events, was not provided.

Moderna did not respond when asked whether any participants developed myocarditis, or heart inflammation. The CDC is investigating cases of post-vaccination myocarditis, primarily among youth.

All trial participants will be monitored for one year after their second shot to assess longer-term protection and safety. Participants are located across 18 states, according to the trial record. Approximately two-thirds of participants received Moderna’s shot; the rest got a placebo. They self-reported symptoms or lack of symptoms over the phone and logged entries in an e-Diary about any symptoms.

Walid Gellad, professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Medicine, said the trial results were good news.

“Bias Form” Encourages School Kids to Report on Each Other for Opposing Marxism.

Loudoun County in Virginia is sparking controversy by encouraging parents and students to report on other students’ “biases” through an anonymous form.

Loudoun parents who recently formed themselves into a political action committee named “Fight for Schools” called the new, anonymous “Bias Reporting” form an “Orwellian move from Loudoun County Public Schools.” The committee of parents see the form as a symptom of cancel culture, saying it “asks students to anonymously cancel each other.”

The form allows students to “denote if they wish to have the incident followed up at their respective school.”

“The specific reason behind this action step is to utilize it as a means to amplify and elevate student voice,” claimed a Loudoun spokesperson via email, adding that a 2019 “Systemic Equity Assessment” had “revealed some students who felt marginalized or had experienced bias.” According to the Washington Times:

“The results reportedly will be used to identify ‘staff professional learning opportunities’ and to generate ideas for discussion at meetings hosted by school Student Equity Ambassadors.

The Fight for Schools PAC was created by a local parent in April, and its advocates have been at odds with school officials for months.”

The group began a petition campaign earlier this month in order to remove six out of nine Loudoun county school board members who the PAC says are pushing critical race theory in schools. Interim Superintendent Scott Ziegler denied that critical race theory is being used as a “framework for staff to adhere to” in the county. Critical race theory is a Marxist-influenced way of viewing American history mostly through the lens of race.

The National Pulse previously reported on the targeting of parents who opposed critical race theory in schools by a group that included six members of Loudoun’s school board. The latter group, led by school board member Beth Barts, was sharing the personal information of anti-critical race theory parents in the district.

Critical race theory (CRT) is sparking outrage across the country while schools continue to push the CRT agenda. Last week, a group calling themselves “Parents Against Critical Theory” hosted a “Save Our Schools” rally at a local middle school in Fairfax County, Virginia.

Maryland’s largest school system, Montgomery County Public Schools, is currently working on an “Anti-Racist System Audit” which is costing them over $454,000. The audit, begun in November, is being conducted by the Mid-Atlantic Equity Consortium, which declares itself dedicated to “increasing access to a high quality education for culturally, linguistically and economically diverse learners.”

A spokesperson for the Montgomery County Public Schools told the Washington Times that the audit is meant “to examine systems, practices, and policies in school culture that create barriers to equitable outcomes for students, staff, and families.” Conservative watchdog Judicial Watch, however, uncovered evidence from the audit that a recent curriculum for at least one school in the district, Thomas Pyle Middle School, focused heavily on what were termed white supremacy and “White privilege,” the latter being partly defined as having a good relationship with police.

Meanwhile, President Trump’s slogan “Make America Great Again” was listed as “covert White supremacy,” just below actions and words such as “lynching” and “the N-word” during a lesson for the middle school. A school district spokesperson denied knowing about the middle school’s social justice course and refused to comment.

Defrocked Catholic priest killed 13-year-old altar boy in 1972: DA

A defrocked Roman Catholic priest implicated himself in the 1972 slaying of a Massachusetts altar boy before dying at a hospital last week — saying he gave the boy a “good shove” before he was discovered dead in a river, a prosecutor said.

Richard R. Lavigne, long considered the only suspect in the murder of 13-year-old Danny Croteau, told a Massachusetts State Police trooper during a series of recent interviews that he was the last person to see the Springfield boy alive — when he brought him to the bank of the Chicopee River.

In a press conference Monday, Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni played snippets of the interviews, where Lavigne admitted that he assaulted the boy on the riverbank on April 14, 1972.

The priest later returned and found Danny floating face-down in the water, but didn’t try to save him or notify his parents or cops, the prosecutor said.

Lavigne told state police he gave the teen a “good shove” along the banks of the river but his voice trailed off when asked why, the Boston Globe reported.

“I just remember being heartbroken when I saw his body … knowing I was responsible for giving him a good shove, you know?” Lavigne said.

Gulluni said he now considered the 49-year-old cold-case slaying to be closed, although the disgraced priest did not admit to killing his former altar boy.

Lavigne died Friday at age 80, the same day Gulluni said his office was preparing to prosecute him for the teen’s slaying.

The priest — who pleaded guilty in 1992 to sexually abusing children and was defrocked in 2003 — was a friend of the Croteau family and was assigned to Saint Mary’s Parish in Springfield at the time, Gulluni said.

“Danny’s parents, Carl and Bernice, told reporters that they just wanted answers,” the prosecutor said in a statement announcing the now-closed murder probe.

Officer of the Year Confesses to Child Rape Ring, Names Fellow Cops, Then Kills Himself

Liberty County, TX — Last week, a standoff took place between Liberty County law enforcement and a fellow cop from one county over. Harris County Precinct 1 deputy Robert Johnson engaged in a standoff with multiple SWAT officers for several hours before taking his own life. After his suicide, we learned that during this standoff, this decorated Houston cop had confessed to utterly horrifying crimes against children. He also named names.

According to authorities in Liberty County, Johnson became the subject of an investigation earlier this month over allegations he had sexually abused a child. KPRC reports:

On May 14, the investigation began when a dispatcher was being evaluated on their work performance, according to Pct. Constable Alan Rosen. He said during the evaluation, the dispatcher made an outcry about the child abuse allegations involving Precinct 1 Deputy Constable Robert Johnson.

Rosen said the allegations were reported to Internal Affairs and the investigation began. He said on Monday morning the department contacted the Houston Police Department to investigate the case, where investigators found out the incidents took place in Alvin. Rosen said HPD and CPS contacted the Alvin Police Department about the allegations. He said Alvin police tried to make contact with Johnson.

On Wednesday morning, Rosen said that the same dispatcher who made the outcry said she was with Johnson and that he was threatening to kill her and take his life.

When police attempted to find Johnson for questioning, they engaged in a traffic stop. The stop turned into a dangerous chase with Johnson reportedly travelling at high speeds into oncoming traffic.

Eventually Johnson came to a stop on the FM 787 bridge over the Trinity River where a standoff ensued. During the standoff he reportedly called his supervisor and confessed to the allegations of sex abuse of multiple children. He also named other employees within the Harris county sheriff’s office who were involved.

“Chief Harrison spoke to Johnson for hours because it was important to us to try to prevent a suicide and most importantly to get any and all facts relative to this case that we could get from him,” Harris County Constable Alan Rosen said. “We wanted to know everything. We wanted to know who the victims are and how long this has been going on.”

Two of the people mentioned by Johnson during his confession have since been arrested. Dispatcher Christina McKay and deputy Chonda Shalett Williams were fired from the police department before being arrested for their involvement in the child sex ring as alleged by Johnson.

Senate Republicans introduce resolution to condemn anti-Semitism and denounce incendiary language from House Dems

Republican senators on Tuesday introduced a resolution to condemn the recent rise in hateful violence committed against American Jews and denounce "poisonous rhetoric" from progressive lawmakers who have spoken out against Israel amid renewed conflict in the Middle East.

Sens. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.), Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), and 11 of their GOP colleagues co-sponsored the resolution, which condemns hatred and violence against Jews at home and around the world and denounces recent anti-Israel rhetoric from Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), Cori Bush (D-Mo.), and Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), though those progressive lawmakers are not named.

"In recent weeks, Jewish people in the United States have been threatened and physically assaulted in nearly 200 documented attacks since the start of the most recent conflict between Israel and Palestine," the Republicans said in a press statement.

"The horrific spike in anti-Semitic violence and crimes in the United States and around the world serves as reminder that hateful rhetoric and lies can quickly turn into violence," Rubio said. "We must be very clear that this ancient evil has no place in our society and ensure America's Jewish communities are protected."

Hawley added that "hateful anti-Israel rhetoric from politicians and the media" inspires the "sickening" violence against Jews.

"We must ensure that Jewish people receive the full protection of law owed to them as citizens of the United States," he said.

The text of the resolution cites preliminary findings from the Anti-Defamation League that found at least 193 reports of possible anti-Semitic attacks in the U.S. from May 7-14, the first week of renewed violence between Israel and Hamas. It also calls attention to several specific examples of disgusting attacks on Jews by pro-Palestinian activists in recent weeks, including incidents in New York City and Los Angeles.

The resolution also refers to and denounces recent anti-Israel statements from several Democratic members of Congress. It quotes, for example, Ilhan Omar calling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu an ''ethno-nationalist" on the floor of the House of Representatives and a tweet she sent accusing Israel of war crimes.

Other "poisonous anti-Israel rhetoric" cited includes Rashida Tlaib's declaration that Palestinian "babies, children and their parents" were "being massacred" by Israel, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's statement describing Israel as an "apartheid state," and Cori Bush's tweet accusing Israel of "ethnic cleansing."

Further, the Republicans want the Senate to reject "the biased, incomplete, and inaccurate information promulgated by the news media in the United States about Israel and the Government of Israel's efforts to protect its citizens from terrorism."

The resolution is co-sponsored by GOP Sens. Rick Scott (Fla.), Mike Braun (Ind.), Thom Tillis (N.C.), Joni Ernst (Iowa), Ted Cruz (Texas), John Kennedy (La.), Roger Marshall (Kan.), Steve Daines (Mont.), Kevin Cramer (N.D.), Marsha Blackburn (Tenn.), Mike Crapo (Idaho), Bill Hagerty (Tenn.), and Bill Cassidy (La.).

Democratic leadership in Congress has condemned the anti-Semitic attacks against Jews, but so far remained silent on the anti-Israel statements made by Democrats in the House. Given the Democrats' apparent hesitance to condemn elected members of their own party, it is unlikely the GOP resolution will find bipartisan support in the Senate.

Frank Luntz Held ‘Focus Group’ That Said Trump Voters Will Accept Vaccine Passports To Go On Vacation

In the Washington Post‘s article that revealed the Biden administration’s plan to leverage the power of large corporations to force Americans to accept the controversial COVID-19 vaccine passports, the Post revealed that Frank Luntz, recently made infamous by Tucker Carlson’s reporting, held a focus group that purportedly claimed conservative Trump voters would accept the vaccine passports if it were required to resume leisure travel.

The Washington Post reported in March of this year that the threat of vaccine passports “could motivate skeptical Americans to get shots.” The left wing newspaper then explained, “Several vaccine-hesitant participants at a recent focus group of Trump voters led by pollster Frank Luntz suggested their desire to see family, go on vacation and resume other aspects of daily life outpaced fear of the shots, particularly if travel companies and others moved to require proof of vaccination,” emphasis added by National File.

Luntz was hired by the de Beaumont Foundation to provide insight about Americans’ hesitance to get one of the controversial vaccines. They claim that Luntz’s focus group – which have been described as scams by his former employees – revealed that conservative Americans may consent to the vaccines and vaccine passports under certain conditions. Reflecting on the session later, Luntz concluded, “Trump Republicans remain the last significant holdout in embracing the COVID-19 vaccine — but we now have hope. A combination of key medical facts, enumerated clearly without any political undertones, and a human story of just how random and deadly the virus has been, is a convincing, motivating message. If the elected officials and the public health experts adopt this strategy, they will save thousands of lives,” de Beaumont Foundation wrote on its website.

This came months before three of Luntz former employees would speak to Salon, another left wing publication, and characterize Luntz’s business as a “scam” and Luntz as a “slimeball” and a “a pay-for-play pawn in Washington” who sways the opinion of those in his focus groups with the goal of providing a desirable outcome to his clients. “The actions were basically contrived: He screened out anybody that isn’t going to give the viewers the opinion that Frank, on behalf of his client, is looking for. Somehow, he is able to bullshit people,” said Chris Ingram, who previously worked as Luntz’s senior vice president.

Tucker Carlson famously exposed Luntz’s deep financial ties to large pharmaceutical companies and left wing Big Tech companies including Google. In the process, Carlson received information suggesting Luntz rents part of his palatial 7,000 square foot penthouse apartment in Washington, D.C. to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, the top Republican in the House of Representatives.

Wall Street Journal Promotes Article Demanding Vaccine Passports To Make Airlines Happy

The Wall Street Journal declares that digital COVID-19 vaccine passports will likely become necessary for international travel

The Wall Street Journal is paying Twitter to promote an article that describes the need for vaccine passports to please airlines, who are apparently being deceived by large numbers of passengers presenting falsified proof they received one of the controversial COVID-19 vaccines.

In a promoted post on Twitter, the Wall Street Journal declares that “Airlines are battling a scourge of passengers traveling with falsified COVID-19 health certificates, with test results easy to manipulate. Because of that, vaccine cards may be coming.” In the article, it becomes clear the “vaccine cards” described by The Washington Post are the distrusted and often banned vaccine passports proposed by the Biden administration.

The article, dated April 13, 2021, is titled “Fake Covid-19 Certificates Hit Airlines, Which Now Have to Police Them”. The article makes the case for universal COVID-19 passports to please airlines, who in turn must please international governments who are requiring proof of vaccination or proof that individuals do not have COVID-19 prior to entering flights. According to the Wall Street Journal, this constitutes a need for the highly partisan and extremely controversial vaccine passports.

“Airlines are pushing for digital health passes that can store vaccine certificates and the results of Covid-19 and antibody tests,” the article reveals. “The industry says this will make it easier to track the veracity of documents and avoid the need to physically check them at airports. But even this sort of system “will not stop people still trying to bring fraudulent certificates,” said Akbar Al Baker, chief executive of Qatar Airways Ltd.”

Previously, the Washington Post revealed that the Biden regime is working with top corporations in the private sector to develop a digital vaccine passport that must be presented on smartphones. The Post explains that Biden and those around him want the vaccine passports to be entirely driven by the private sector, using large corporations to force private citizens to engage in their system of tracking in order to participate in the modern economy, rather than using the force of the federal government.

“The passports are expected to be free and available through applications for smartphones,” the Post reported in March. “Which could display a scannable code similar to an airline boarding pass. Americans without smartphone access should be able to print out the passports, developers have said.” The far left newspaper added, “There is evidence vaccine passports could motivate skeptical Americans to get shots. Several vaccine-hesitant participants at a recent focus group of Trump voters led by pollster Frank Luntz suggested their desire to see family, go on vacation and resume other aspects of daily life outpaced fear of the shots, particularly if travel companies and others moved to require proof of vaccination.”

Netanyahu Publicly Rebuffs US Efforts To Re-Enter Iran Nuclear Deal In Front Of Blinken

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly rebuffed U.S. efforts to re-enter the Iran nuclear deal during remarks in front of Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday.

President Joe Biden wants to revive the deal canceled by former President Donald Trump three years ago despite pushback from both parties, Politico previously reported. The deal, officially dubbed the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), was brokered by former President Barack Obama in 2015 when Biden served as vice president.

Netanyahu pushed back on the Biden administration’s recent efforts and expressed his hope that the U.S. would forgo its plans. The prime minister voiced concern for the implications of Iran having “an arsenal of nuclear weapons with international legitimacy.”

“The second point is – naturally, is Iran. We discussed many regional issues, but none is greater than Iran. And I can tell you that I hope that the United States will not go back to the old JCPOA because we believe that that deal paves the way for Iran to have an arsenal of nuclear weapons with international legitimacy,” Netanyahu said during the joint press event.

“We also reiterated that whatever happens, Israel will always reserve the right to defend itself against a regime committed to our destruction, committed to getting the weapons of mass destruction for that end,” he added.

The event came in the wake of an 11-day conflict between Israel and militants in Gaza. Blinken traveled to Jerusalem at Biden’s request in an effort to “discuss essential follow-up efforts to consolidate the ceasefire and reduce risks of further conflict over the coming months,” the State Department previously announced.

Blinken responded by pushing back on Netanyahu’s hope, noting that the U.S. plans to continue working “together to counter Iran’s destabilizing actions in the region.”

In St. Louis, Mo., the worst-in-country murder rate is at a 50-year high, the police department has nearly 100 unfilled jobs, and the mayor wants to defund the department and shut down a city jail.

St. Louis’ Tishaura Jones, who became the city’s first Black female mayor last month, had campaigned on a promise to enact progressive criminal justice reforms.

The head of the city’s corrections department is also on his way out. Jones announced his resignation last week, saying she hadn’t requested he step down but making clear she wasn’t satisfied with how he ran things.

The homicide rate in Deep Blue St. Louis is 87 per 100,000. How bad is that? Well, second place is Democrat-run Baltimore with 57 per 100,000.

This ridiculously dangerous mayor actually says she does not believe additional police will have any effect on the crime and murder rates.

“More police doesn’t prevent crime,” the 49-year-old, Harvard-educated mayor told the Telegraph last week. “Research done in the police department shows that 50 percent of calls can be answered by someone other than police. So, why not deploy someone other than police, and free up police to do the work that they were trained to do in our academy.”

She’s also closing a prison that holds 600 so the $7 million that saves each year can be spent on “mental health emergency workers and social services.”

St. Louis is already a shithole city, and now it is stone-cold doomed.

Even before this explosion in violence, the murder rate in St. Louis rivaled Latin America.

The idea of sending someone out to a police call other than a trained police officer is pure delusion. What happens when things go sideways? What happens when on the call (where studies show a police officer isn’t needed), it turns into something else, something dangerous and out of control?

What makes police officers effective, outside of their training, is the authority they carry. They carry a badge, gun, uniform, and physical training. Everyone knows a police officer can handle himself. Regardless of the situation, this authority is a game changer, and if instead you send out a mealy-mouthed, soft-bellied social worker in glasses, no good can come from it.

Do Democrats really want to own the cons so badly they’re willing to doom their own city, and by extension their own property values, tax base, and schools?

Are Democrats so twisted and bitter that on the settled-science of how a strong law enforcement presence backed with the support of elected officials can improve everyone’s quality of life, they are rejecting this commons sense, and doing so at the expense of their own safety and the safety of their children?

Are Democrats so warped, they won’t even agree with us on something we’ve all agreed on for decades, something that proved to be effective from the early 1990s straight through to the rise of the terrorist group Black Lives Matter and the insanity of “defund the police?”

It is fascinating to witness. I don’t really care what the people of St. Louis or any Democrat-run city do to destroy themselves. It’s no skin off my nose. I live in Rural MAGA Land where none of this craziness affects anything. Out here, people of all races and creeds live together in relative harmony and safety. There are no racial tensions or riots or looting or any violent crime crises. Life is good.

But still… It really is something to watch as Democrats get exactly what they voted for and then pretend that what they voted for was not an act of urban suicide.

During a Tuesday appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” former Democratic Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams criticized the audits of votes cast in Arizona and Georgia for the 2020 election.

Abrams, who has still not conceded defeat in her 2018 loss, described the audits as “schemes designed to perpetuate not only the big lie” but also the January 6 “insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol.

Co-host Mika Brzezinski asked Abrams, “What do you make of these so-called audits still happening and recounts in Arizona and Georgia?”

“These are schemes designed to perpetuate not only the big lie, but more concerning to me, it is to perpetuate the insurrection,” Abrams replied. “We have to remember that what caused that behavior on January 6 was an attempt to rewrite history and to sublimate the notion that all voters should have the right to be heard, that the election administration that occurred was done correctly, and that the outcome of the election was correct.”

HuffPo Reporter: January 6 Riot ‘1000 Percent Worse’ than 9/11

HuffPost reporter S.V. Dáte said the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol is “1000 percent worse” than the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, which resulted in the death of nearly 3,000 people, repeating the charge touted by many leftists in the weeks following the incident.

Dáte, the senior White House correspondent at HuffPost, originally responded to a detailed thread by the Washington Examiner’s Byron York, who attempted to add some perspective to the left’s desire to compare the two events.

“The 9/11 al Qaeda attacks killed roughly 3,000 people, brought down New York’s tallest skyscrapers, destroyed part of the Pentagon, crashed four passenger jetliners, and changed U.S. foreign policy for decades,” York said, explaining that the January 6 riot resulted in the “natural-causes death of one Capitol Police officer, the death of one rioter at the hands of police, the ‘acute amphetamine intoxication’ death of another rioter, and the natural causes deaths of two more.”

“Parts of the Capitol were ransacked, but not seriously enough that Congress could not meet and finish its work on the night of the riot. It was appalling, but nothing like September 11,” York added.

However, Dáte argued the 9/11 terrorists “never threatened the heart of the American experiment.”

“The 1/6 terrorists and Donald Trump absolutely did exactly that,” he said. “Trump continues that effort today.”

One commenter reminded Dáte that United 93 should have crashed into the U.S. Capitol but did not due to the courageous, sacrificial acts of passengers on the plane.

Earlier this year, Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) criticized Democrats who made similar comparisons, likening the January 6 riot to 9/11.

“First of all, I don’t like 9/11 being used on anything,” he said. “On 9/11, we lost 3,000 people. Three-thousand is horrific. Now, this is a tragedy in itself. But it wasn’t even close to what happened on that day,” he said.

“I think you’re seeing the Democrats just kind of throwing that back and say, ‘Listen, this was a 9/11 comparison,'” he said, repeating his stance that this “wasn’t even close.”

Britain’s National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) has announced a new Police Plan of Action on Inclusion and Race and Independent Oversight and Scrutiny Board in response to the death of George Floyd in the United States.

“The legitimacy and effectiveness of our policing is built on relationships between the police and the public but there are long-standing challenges in our relationships with many Black communities, explained Sir Dave Thompson, Vice Chair[man] of the National Police Chiefs’ Council and Chair[man] of the new Police Plan of Action on Inclusion and Race, capitalising the word “Black” in the manner prescribed by woke activists and the Associated Press.

“Levels of trust and confidence in policing are significantly lower among some Black people and racial disparities exist that we cannot fully explain,” he suggested in an official NPCC statement.

To address these alleged issues, “the NPCC and College of Policing have committed senior leadership and resources to developing a programme of change in policing to earn the confidence of Black people” — including the aforementioned Police Plan of Action on Inclusion and Race and a new Independent Oversight and Scrutiny Board which will have the “authority” to “check and challenge” police forces.

Windham 2020 election auditor says error rate 'way higher than we expected'

An auditor in Windham, New Hampshire, said the majority of ballots had a fold in them and are being reviewed through the town's audit process investigating the 2020 election.

As many as 60% of ballots with machine-made or handmade folds were improperly counted by the town's four scanning machines, Harri Hursti, one of three auditors selected for the process, told the New Hampshire Union Leader on Monday.

"The error rate was way higher than we expected," Hursti said.

After the results of the 2020 state House race for the town were particularly close, a hand recount was requested. That resulted in four candidates in Rockingham District 7 gaining around 300 votes and one candidate losing around 100.

The ensuing audit, which is not meant to alter the results of the November vote, mandated that all 10,000 ballots for the town's state House, governor, and U.S. senator races be examined to determine what went wrong.

Two of the auditors previously expressed their suspicion that the folds may have been to blame, but Hursti's comments on Monday provided more context to the scope of the issue.

"Because if someone voted for all four Republican candidates and the ballot happened to have its fold line going through St. Laurent's target, then that might be interpreted by the machines as an overvote, which would then subtract votes from each of those four Republican candidates," said Philip Stark, another member of the three-person audit team, according to a WMUR 9 report last week. "Conversely, if there were not four votes already in that contest by the voter, a fold line through that target could have caused the machine to interpret it as a vote for St. Laurent."

The counting machines used in Windham, as well as in 85% of New Hampshire cities and towns, are some of the oldest in circulation, the New Hampshire Union Leader reported.

The age of the machines, which come from AccuVote, makes them harder to hack, Hursti told the outlet.

Although the audit does not cover the presidential election, former President Donald Trump has touted it as a victory.

"Congratulations to the great Patriots of Windham, New Hampshire for their incredible fight to seek out the truth on the massive Election Fraud which took place in New Hampshire and the 2020 Presidential Election," he said in a May 6 statement.

Mark Lindeman, the third auditor, said they were on track to finish the process by Thursday as required by state law.

Secret Recordings Reveal Officials Discussing 'Filthy' Conditions of 4,632 Immigrant Kids Held in Texas Tent Camp

More than 4,500 immigrant children and teens are being held in enormous, filthy tents on a military base in Texas without access to basic necessities, including underwear, according to interviews, photos, documents, and recordings obtained . Hundreds of senior federal employees from various agencies have been detailed to the facility, where they are being highly compensated to perform tasks for which they have little training or direction.

"If you took a poll, probably about 98 percent of the federal workers here would say it's appalling," a federal employee detailed to the facility told . "Everybody tries in their own way to quietly disobey and get things done, but it can be difficult."

The shelter, which is largely populated by teenage boys, is housed at Fort Bliss, an Army base near El Paso, where the harsh desert climate is used to simulate conditions in Afghanistan and Iraq. As other shelters are being shut down, the Fort Bliss shelter is swelling. In theory, these shelters are a way station for kids who are waiting to be reunited with relatives or other connections in the United States. In fact, staffing problems and other issues have left many kids stuck in limbo for up to a month or more.

The Associated Press first reported earlier this month that, after moving them out of Customs and Border Protection detention centers, the Biden administration is holding "tens of thousands of asylum-seeking children in an opaque network of some 200 facilities." On Monday, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra said the Fort Bliss facility was not fit for "tender age" children, but thousands of teens continue to be housed there.

The shelter is staffed by a mix of contractors and federal employees detailed to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), many of whom signed up for the duty out of a desire to help stranded immigrant kids. Roughly 750 federal employees work there, according to a May 22 . A federal employee said most of them are essentially working as "babysitters and clerks." As of May 22, the shelter held 4,632 minors—3,873 boys and 759 girls.

Recordings obtained by Reason reveal the stress the influx of unaccompanied minors has put on the federal government. They also reveal that leaders at the shelter are well aware that they are failing to provide basic necessities, including medical care and physical safety, to the children under its supervision.

Federal employees detailed to the Fort Bliss shelter, speaking on the condition of anonymity, told Reason they are working 12-hour shifts six days a week. Basic forms and equipment, including lice kits, are in short supply, and frustration is mounting.

In a recording of a recent training session for federal employees run by a staffer from Chenega, an Alaska Native–owned corporation that is providing workers for the shelter, the trainer acknowledges a variety of failures.

"I'm not going to lie, we've got people dropping like flies because it's just not something that they're used to," the trainer says in the recording, not releasing to protect the source's identity. To distract from Gaza slaughter, Israel lobby manufactures antisemitism freakout

With deceptively edited videos and dubious allegations, the Israel lobby has manufactured an antisemitism epidemic to turn the media’s gaze away from dead children in Gaza.

Following an 11-day assault on the Gaza Strip in which the Israeli army killed over 220 people, including more than 65 children, and days of videotaped rampages of Jewish extremist mobs against Palestinian people and property inside Israeli cities, Israel lobbyists in the US and Canada have launched a carefully coordinated public relations campaign to deflect outrage.

Having failed to successfully defend massacres of entire families in their homes and the deliberate demolition of civilian residential towers and media offices in Gaza City, the US Israel lobby and the Israeli government it advocates for have manufactured an epidemic of antisemitic violence with the goal of portraying American Jewry as the true victim of the crisis.

Led by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), Israel lobbyists have portrayed a series of street scuffles between supporters of Palestine and pro-Israel activists as anti-Jewish pogroms. In nearly every case, no evidence exists to substantiate claims that Jews were targeted as Jews for violent assault. There is ample proof of deception, however, as video and photographic evidence reveals pro-Israel elements provoking demonstrators, initiating violence and falsifying or embellishing their testimonies.

Since the Israeli government and Palestinian political factions signed a ceasefire, the media has provided Israel lobbyists with an uncritical platform to baselessly accuse Palestine solidarity activists of triggering a wave of antisemitic violence, and even claim without a shred of evidence that Jews are being hunted in their homes.

Everyone from President Joseph Biden to members of the progressive congressional “Squad” have lent their voices to the chorus of condemnation. Meanwhile, celebrity influencers have posted blue squares on their Instagram accounts to symbolize solidarity with an American Jewish community supposedly under siege.

Biden's DOJ appeals order to release Russia memo in full which cleared Trump of obstruction - but does agree to make a portion public

The Biden administration said Monday that it would appeal a judge's order directing it to release legal memo explaining why Attorney General Bill Barr didn't choose to prosecute President Donald Trump for obstruction of justice by allegedly thwarting Robert Muller's Russia investigation.

But it also agreed to make a brief portion of the document public, which shows that two senior Justice Department leaders advised Barr that, in their view, Mueller's evidence could not support an obstruction conclusion beyond a reasonable doubt.

U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson earlier this month ordered Biden's DOJ to release the entire March 2019 memo as part of a public records lawsuit from a Washington-based advocacy organization.

She said the department, under Attorney General William Barr, had misstated the purpose of the document in arguing that it was legally entitled to withhold it from the group, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.

In a motion filed late Monday, the deadline for deciding whether it would comply with the judge's decision or appeal it, the Justice Department said that it continued to believe even that the full document should be exempt from disclosure.

It appears Biden's DOJ took the decision to avoid setting a new precedent where more sensitive internal documents would have to be released, Politico reported.

Presidents and administrations of both parties have constantly fought to keep these documents secret.

Though the department agreed to release one section of the document, the lawyers asked Jackson to put her order on hold to give a federal appeals court a chance to review the ruling.

At issue is a March 24, 2019 memo from the Justice Department's Office of Legal Counsel that was prepared for Barr to evaluate whether evidence collected in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation could support an obstruction of justice prosecution of the president. Barr has said he looked to that opinion in determining that Trump did not illegally obstruct the Russia probe.

The Justice Department turned over other documents to CREW as part of the group's lawsuit, but declined to give it the OLC memo.

Government lawyers said they were entitled under public records law to withhold the memo because it reflected internal deliberations among lawyers before any formal decision had been reached.

Israel: Police begin mass arrests of Palestinians

Palestinian citizens of Israel call the 48-hour operation, set to arrest 500 people, a 'declaration of war'

Israeli police on Monday launched an operation of mass arrests of Palestinian citizens of Israel, following two weeks of protests in mixed cities against Israeli settlement policies in the occupied East Jerusalem and the bombardment of the Gaza Strip.

Israeli police planned to arrest 500 Palestinians inside Israel under operation “Law and Order”, authorities announced on Sunday, in a plan approved by the Minister of Internal Security Amir Ohana and the Commissioner of Israeli Police Kobi Shabtai.

The 48-hour arrest campaign, which began on Monday morning, aims to target “criminal elements in the Arab sector [of society], including some senior targets”, and some linked to organised gangs, Ynet reported, without giving names.

Israeli police concluded that their power of deterrence had been severely damaged among the Palestinian community inside Israel, after confrontations in mixed cities including Lod, Acre and Haifa, the news site reported, and are attempting to regain it with this campaign.

Israel has mobilised thousands of police officers from all districts and units, including the Border Police, to carry out the arrests.

Authorities have reportedly prepared a “bank of targets” of 500 names, and say that they have already built up cases with evidence to allow for speedy indictments to be filed in court. Charges will vary from vandalism to violence and incitement, all documented by the Lahav 433 cyber unit, the Israeli equivalent of the FBI.

'Declaration of war'

Two Palestinian citizens of Israeli have been killed in the past two weeks - Mousa Hassouna, in Lod, known as Lydd by Palestinians, during a confrontation with Israeli far-right group backed by settlers from the occupied West Bank; and Mohammad Kiwan, who was shot by police near Umm al-Fahm, in the north of Israel.

Palestinian citizens of Israel, who make up 20 per cent of the country's population, have widely shared a social media post warning of the Israeli mass arrests.

"This is a declaration of war, the Israelis will storm more than 500 homes to kidnap our children and youth," the post reads.

"This is not just an attempt at intimidation, and it is not just a policy of intimidation. This is an unprecedented war on Palestinians at home, and it will be carried out under the cover of a humiliating silence," it continued.

"Our people must act now and immediately to thwart this war. The whole world must be shaken now."

Since early May, Israel's State Attorney's Office has filed more than 140 indictments against 230 people - mostly Palestinian Arabs - who were involved in recent protests and confrontations in mixed cities.

Biden Left Out 1 Big Name in His Cybersecurity Order, And It's Starting to Look Suspicious

Cybercriminals launched a serious attack on the Microsoft Exchange Server in March.

After assessing the breach, the company’s Threat Intelligence Center concluded with “high confidence” the attack had originated in China, from the sophisticated Chinese hacking group Hafnium, according to the Washington Examiner.

This group is said to have ties to the Chinese Communist Party. Outside cybersecurity experts agreed with Microsoft’s findings.

On May 12, President Joe Biden signed an executive order “to improve the nation’s cybersecurity and protect federal government networks.” According to the White House fact sheet, “recent cybersecurity incidents such as SolarWinds, Microsoft Exchange, and the Colonial Pipeline incident are a sobering reminder that U.S. public and private sector entities increasingly face sophisticated malicious cyber activity from both nation-state actors and cyber criminals.”

The Examiner’s Jerry Dunleavy finds it very strange that the Biden administration has yet to acknowledge publicly that China is likely behind the cyberattack on the Microsoft Exchange Server. He pointed out that in April, the administration formally blamed the massive SolarWinds attack on Russia’s SVR, the country’s foreign intelligence service, in a White House fact sheet.

Biden openly attributed the recent Colonial Pipeline ransomware attack to a hacker group called DarkSide, which operates out of Russia.

That’s why the refusal of Biden administration officials and agencies to name China as the source of the attack on the Microsoft Exchange Server strikes Dunleavy, and many of us, as odd.

Dunleavy’s not exaggerating. He described the runaround he’s gotten from government agencies:

“A spokesperson for the National Security Agency told the Washington Examiner to reach out to the National Security Council. The NSC did not provide a comment. A spokesperson for DHS said to ‘please contact the FBI for help with this inquiry.’ The FBI spokesperson said that ‘unfortunately, we do not have a comment.’ A DOJ spokesperson said they ‘don’t have anything to share with you on this at this time.’ A spokesperson for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency said that ‘we do not have a comment on attribution.’ And the Office of the Director of National Intelligence did not respond to a request for comment.”

At a March White House media briefing, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan was asked if China was responsible for the Microsoft attack.

According to an official White House transcript, Sullivan replied, “I’m not in a position, standing here today, to provide attribution, but I do pledge to you that we will be in a position to attribute that attack at some point in the near future. And we won’t hide the ball on that. We will come forward and say who we believe perpetrated the attack.”

Biden Lifts Restrictions on South Korea’s Missile Development

US restrictions previously banned Seoul from developing missiles with a range greater than 800 km (497 mi)

The US has lifted restrictions on South Korea’s ability to develop and possess long-range missiles, a move that is seen as part of Washington’s strategy against Beijing. South Korean President Moon Jae-in announced the change in policy on Friday after a meeting with President Biden.

Previously, South Korea could not develop missiles with a range greater than 800km (497 miles). Without the restriction, Seoul can develop any type of long-range ballistic missile, potentially putting China in range of a US ally’s weapons.

“We are pleased to announce the end of the missile guidelines. This is a symbolic and practical measure to externally show the solidity of the ROK-US alliance along with the conclusion of the ROK-US defense cost agreement in the early days of the Biden administration’s inauguration,” Moon said.

Washington and Seoul recently agreed to a new cost-sharing deal for the approximately 28,500 US troops stationed in South Korea. Seoul agreed to a 13.9 percent increase in the cost to house US troops, totaling about $1.03 billion for 2021.

When it comes to North Korea, the Biden administration has not been clear how it will approach Pyongyang, if at all. In the latest vague comments from Biden officials, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said he expects no “grand bargain” with North Korea, insisting any deal would take a long time.

DOJ CHARGES BLM Supporter Who Allegedly Stormed Capitol, Instigated Trump Supporters

A huge development in the Capitol incident has developed on your Tuesday, as a Black Lives Matter supporting activist already facing several charges for his actions on January 6 is now facing additional counts and allegedly told witnesses that he brought a bullhorn to instigate Trump supporters to attack the Capitol.

John Earle Sullivan of Utah has now been hit with weapons charges, according to new court documents filed by federal prosecutors last week and reported by The Epoch Times.

If you haven’t heard Sullivan’s name before, you’ve probably seen the footage captured by pro-Trump activist Ashli Babbit’s shooting death during the Capitol incursion, which he reportedly sold to news networks for tens of thousands of dollars.

In an absolutely sickening moment, Prosecutors say he was captured on another individuals’s recording “expressing excitement” that he had Babbit’s death on camera.

“Everybody’s gonna want this. Nobody has it. I’m selling it, I could make millions of dollars,” Sullivan was quoted as saying.

Last week, authorities sized $90,000 from Sullivan that he reportedly had been paid by multiple major news outlets for the Babbit footage.

According to the court documents, he also allegedly was heard telling someone on speakerphone, “I brought my megaphone to instigate s. I was like, guys we’re going inside, we’re fing s up. … I’m gonna make these Trump supporters f all this s up. … But I mean you’ll see. I have it all, I have everything, everything on camera, everything I just told you, and I mean everything. Trust me when I say my footage is worth like a million of dollars, millions of dollars. I’m holding on to that s.”

“Hey guys, I have a knife. I have a knife. Let me up,” he was also heard saying, according to prosecutors, as well as telling Capitol Hill police officers that “there are too many people, you gotta stand down.”

Sullivan himself considered himself as a journalist on the scene who had entered the Capitol with the sole intention of filming the chaos. However an affidavit when he was initially charged for his involvement says he broke windows and encouraged protestors to enter.

“Sullivan approaches a window, also seen in the screenshot below, and states, ‘We did this s. We took this s.’ While at the window, a knocking noise is heard off-screen. The camera then pans to show more of the window and a broken pane can be seen that was not broken on Sullivan’s approach to the window: Sullivan can then be heard saying, ‘I broke it. My bad, my apologies. Well, they already broke a window, so, you know, I didn’t know I hit it that hard. No one got that on camera.’ Sullivan then exits the office,” the affidavit stated.

Sullivan had been in several far-left riots prior to Jan. 6, The Epoch Times noted.

Or, as prosecutors say he put it at the scene of the Capitol Hill incursion, “I am ready, bro. I’ve been to too many riots. I’ve been in so many riots.”

Sullivan wasn’t lying about rioting, he was even charged in July with rioting charges, threatening violence, and criminal mischief. He took part in an anti-police counterdemonstration to a “Back the Blue” event in Provo, Utah.

Arizona secretary of state slams 'highly partisan,' 'fringe' election audit

PHOENIX — Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs (D) is raising new concerns about the way auditors hired by the Republican-controlled state Senate have handled more than 2.1 million ballots from the 2020 election that sat for more than a week in hot and humid trailers waiting to be counted.

The auditors, overseen by a Florida firm that has no experience auditing elections, earlier this month left ballots cast in November in Maricopa County in a trailer outside Phoenix Memorial Coliseum, a few blocks from the state capital, after their count took longer than expected.

Temperatures neared 100 degrees in Phoenix last week as auditors paused the count to allow previously scheduled high school graduation ceremonies to take place in the building.

“Where the ballots were being stored, it was not a facility that was suitable for storage, because everything was exposed to heat and also humidity because of the method of cooling in the building,” Hobbs said in an interview Monday, as auditors resumed their process. “Any time you’re doing any process like this, the idea of having to start and stop, that interruption, we were already concerned that there were a lot of procedures that were changing and errors that were happening, and I think this increases the chance for those errors.”

Randy Pullen, a former chairman of the Arizona Republican Party who is handling media requests for the audit team, said storing ballots in trailers had been the team’s plan from the beginning.

“The reason we had them in the trailers was because they had really good air conditioning in there,” Pullen said. “It’s water-cooled air conditioning, so that puts a little more humidity in the air than normal. But it wasn’t a lot of humidity, we were checking it.”

President Biden won Maricopa County by about 45,000 votes, and Arizona by just over 10,000 ballots.

But the Republican-controlled state Senate opened the audit after pressure from former President Trump, who continues to spread unproven and disproven conspiracy theories about the election’s integrity.

Auditors have counted about 500,000 ballots so far, just under a quarter of the total cast in Maricopa County last year. They hope to complete the count by the end of June, when their rental term on the coliseum ends.

“I’m pretty confident we’ll easily be done by the end of the month. We’ll know a little bit more by the end of this week because we’ve been ramping up,” Pullen said. “There’s more volunteers coming. We got all of that worked out last week in terms of improving the system, doing the background checks.”

Pullen said auditors had more volunteers counting ballots on Monday, when the count resumed, than on any previous day.

“They don’t know what they’re doing and they didn’t have a clue how long it was going to take them to do this,” Hobbs said. “They’re not following best practices. In fact they’re doing a lot of things that make no sense if you’re trying to get a valid result.”

Chinese Propaganda Outlet Paid Millions to American Newspapers and Magazines, Records Show

China Daily pays to place interviews with pro-China Quincy Institute scholar

A news agency controlled by the Chinese Communist Party paid millions of dollars to American newspapers and magazines over the past six months, even as U.S. officials have sounded the alarm on Beijing's propaganda activities.

China Daily paid more than $1.6 million for advertising campaigns in Time magazine, the Los Angeles Times, Financial Times, and Foreign Policy magazine, according to disclosures filed with the Justice Department. The Beijing-controlled news agency paid another $1 million to American newspapers, including the L.A. Times, Chicago Tribune, and Houston Chronicle, to print copies of its own publications.

U.S. officials have increasingly drawn attention to CCP propaganda campaigns in the West. The Justice Department requires several Chinese news companies, including China Daily, to disclose their activities under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. Officials have also warned that CCP-affiliated groups have hosted events with American think tanks and educational institutions in an attempt to boost their influence in the West.

Several American newspapers have come under fire for publishing China Daily inserts entitled "China Watch." Though designed to look like normal newspaper stories, the inserts contain articles that portray the Chinese government and life in China in a positive light.

The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post have all severed ties in recent years with China Daily amid complaints that they were publishing CCP propaganda. The Times purged hundreds of China Daily advertorials from its website last year because of concerns about working with state-run media.

China Daily increased its advertising spending by more than 36 percent over the past six months, from nearly $3.3 million to more than $4.5 million, according to its latest foreign agent disclosure.

Time magazine took in $700,000 for advertising, while the Los Angeles Times received $272,000. Foreign Policy and Financial Times received $291,000 and $371,577, respectively. The Globe and Mail, a Canadian newspaper, raked in $329,898 for advertising.

Time appears to be a new China Daily client. The magazine's website features articles from China Daily with the disclosure "paid partner content," though without any mention of its affiliation with the Chinese government.

Its most recent partner content is an interview with Charles Freeman, a U.S. diplomat affiliated with the isolationist Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, a controversial foreign policy think tank supported by billionaires Charles Koch and George Soros. Freeman has blamed the so-called Israel lobby for blocking his appointment to lead the National Intelligence Council during the Obama administration.

In the China Daily article, Freeman discusses his work as chief interpreter for President Richard Nixon during his first visit to China in 1972. Freeman praises what he says is China's rapid modernization since the Nixon visit, saying, "I knew China would change, but I never imagined how much and how fast it has changed."

Quincy Institute scholars have defended the Chinese government against allegations that it has committed genocide against Muslim minority groups in Western China.

Many of the newspapers working with China Daily face severe financial problems. The Los Angeles Times furloughed workers last year as advertising revenue cratered during the coronavirus pandemic. Papers like the Chicago Tribune and Boston Globe have failed to turn a profit for years.

China Daily paid $89,700 to the Los Angeles Times for printing services and $164,000 in all to the Chicago Tribune, Houston Chronicle, and Boston Globe.

Gaza reconstruction would undermine Hamas, Blinken says

US, Israel to promote civil projects for WB Palestinians if they stop incitement; Blinken calls rising antisemitism in the US “shocking, despicable.”

Rebuilding the Gaza Strip and creating opportunities for its residents would hurt Hamas, not help it, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on his visit to Jerusalem on Tuesday.

“If we do this right,” Blinken said, “reconstruction and relief for the people of Gaza, far from empowering Hamas, has the potential to undermine it. I say that because Hamas thrives, unfortunately, on despair, misery, desperation, on a lack of opportunity.”

Rebuilding of Gaza would not only answer immediate needs for water and electricity, but should “offer genuine prospect for opportunity, progress and material improvement in people’s lives,” he said in a news conference.

If the US, UN, Israel, the Palestinian Authority and others work toward that aim, “Hamas’s foothold in Gaza will slip,” Blinken argued. “We know that, and I think Hamas knows that.”

Israel has said that any aid to Gaza must be closely watched to ensure that it does not reach Hamas, with the Defense Ministry working this week on developing such a system.

Blinken arrived in Israel early Tuesday in his first trip to the region as Secretary of State, a visit that also included a stop in Ramallah. He is set to continue to Jordan and Egypt.

Former Trump counsel McGahn likely to testify next week on Russia inquiry obstruction

McGahn previously refused to testify in 2019, during Muller's investigation into Trump.

Former Trump White House Counsel Don McGahn has agreed to testify behind closed doors before the House Judiciary Committee on whether President Trump obstructed justice during the Russia investigation.

McGahn, the Justice Department, and lawyers for House Democrats struck an agreement for him to testify earlier in May, according to The New York Times.

Under their agreement, committee members can ask McGahn about incidents documented in the Mueller report about Trump's attempts to fire the special counselor and block the Russia investigation. His agreement was also contingent on there being no legal challenge to his participation in the matter.

Trump was under investigation at the time to determine whether he obstructed with an investigation to determine if Russia hacked the 2016 presidential election. Mueller later chose not to charge Trump with obstruction of justice.

McGahn had previously refused to testify in 2019 and resulted in Democratic Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler, a Democrat, issuing a subpoena to force McGahn to testify.

Rand Paul fighting to ensure dangerous virus research doesn’t receive U.S. funding

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is fighting SB 1260 which calls for an increase in scientific research funding, by introducing an amendment to ensure gain of function research is banned from receiving any government funds. He’s sponsoring this move after reports that the coronavirus may have originated from Wuhan’s Institute of Virology lab.

“We don’t know whether the pandemic started in a lab in Wuhan or evolved naturally,” Paul said in a statement. “While Washington bureaucrats deny funding gain-of-function research in Wuhan, experts believe otherwise. My amendment will ensure that this never happens in the future.”

Paul took to the Senate floor for the second time Tuesday to promote his amendment. In the meanwhile, he also pointed out the National Science Foundation’s wasteful spending.

“We spend about $8 billion a year with the National Science Foundation,” Paul said. “This bill’s going to increase their funding by 68% . . . don’t you think the American people deserve to know where their money is being spent?” He started with an example from the National Institute of Health, a sister organization to NSF. They spent over $800k to study the sexual promiscuity of Japanese Quails.

And the list goes on. Every poster he shared on the floor he also tweeted out online. He shared studies that cost anywhere from $30,000 to $1.5 million just to study inconsequential animal behaviors.

“We should not reward these people with more money,” Paul said. But, most importantly, “There’s a great deal of circumstantial evidence now that NIH money went to the Wuhan Virology Institute,” Paul said. So, he made his amendment because “the entire world’s economy” is at stake.

The phrase “rules-based international order” is being used a lot by Washington’s representatives who wish to make clear, as indicated by Secretary of State Antony Blinken, that they consider the alternative “is a world in which might makes right and winners take all, and that would be a far more violent and unstable world for all of us.”

No doubt his statement attracted adverse reaction among those in the many countries that have suffered from the crushing effects of U.S. military might, and where violence and instability are now prevalent (Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya), but there is no possibility that President Biden will cease his push for the exercise of “global power”, which he has declared to be the “grounding wire of our global policy.”

Mr Biden continued that “we must start with diplomacy rooted in America’s most cherished democratic values : defending freedom, championing opportunity, upholding universal rights, respecting the rule of law, and treating every person with dignity,” but demonstrated reluctance to uphold universal rights by refusing to endorse a UN Security Council Resolution that called for observation of his “most cherished democratic values.” On May 17, as reported by the Times of Israel, fourteen of the Council’s fifteen members expressed “grave concern regarding the crisis related to Gaza and the loss of civilian lives and casualties, and called for de-escalation of the situation, cessation of violence and respect for international humanitarian law, including the protection of civilians, especially children.”

Rejection of a resolution calling for “respect for international humanitarian law” is not consistent with Washington’s intention to abide by the “rules-based international order” which is apparently the solution to all the world’s problems — providing the rules are not applied to Israel.

According to the United Nations, in half-a-century the United States has vetoed over fifty draft Security Council resolutions that were critical of Israel, thus ensuring that there is a far more violent and unstable Middle East than there otherwise would have been. Yet on May 7 Secretary Blinken gave a speech at the Security Council in which he said that “human rights and dignity must stay at the core of the international order.” He emphasised that “there are certain rights to which every person, everywhere, is entitled” and that “domestic jurisdiction doesn’t give any state a blank check to enslave, torture, disappear, ethnically cleanse their people, or violate their human rights in any other way.” All of these sentiments are laudable, but the U.S. government is selective in endorsing and applying international law, and Mr Blinken actually admitted that “some of our actions in recent years have undermined the rules-based order and led others to question whether we are still committed to it. Rather than take our word for it, we ask the world to judge our commitment by our actions.”

The Palestinians are indeed questioning Washington’s commitment to the rules-based order, and they and much of the rest of the world (including all fifteen other members of the Security Council) are judging the Biden Administration accordingly.

It is regrettably apparent that President Biden and his appointees and associates are unrelentingly opposed to criticism of Israel for its violations of human rights and dignity. There is no possibility that Mr Biden will take firm action to prevent Israel from taking whatever action it wishes in order to subjugate the Palestinians. To be sure, the random rocketing of southern Israel by the Hamas organisation is reprehensible in the extreme, and even though it has done little damage and caused a tiny number of fatalities (12, compared with 248 Palestinian deaths), it can in no way be recognised as legal.

DA ethically obligated to pull covid injections off the market, or risk becoming complicit in crimes against humanity

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) was under intense political pressure to give emergency use authorization (EUA) to three experimental injections manufactured by Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson. Now that these experiments have been carried out on roughly one third of the US population, serious issues have emerged.

A well-cited petition has been filed by Children’s Health Defense and Millions Against Medical Mandates, calling on the FDA to revoke EUAs for all experimental covid vaccines. After a careful review of the evidence, the FDA is ethically obligated to pull covid injections off the market, or the agency and all its affiliates risk becoming complicit in crimes against humanity.

The CDC’s passive vaccine injury surveillance system, VAERS, has managed to capture 192,954 adverse events and 4,057 deaths between Dec. 14, 2020 and May 7, 2021. Similarly, Europe’s vaccine injury surveillance system, EudraVigilance has tallied 405,259 injuries and 10,570 deaths as of May 8, 2021. These crimes against humanity would never have been tolerated decades ago. In 1976, the swine flu vaccine campaign was cut short after thirty deaths and four hundred cases of Guillain-Barre syndrome.

Fact checking organizations that work for the vaccine industry are trying to downplay the hundreds of thousands of vaccine injuries and thousands of premature death reports, claiming that healthcare workers and patients are making their vaccine injuries up, and misleading the public with their exaggerated first-hand experiences.

Even though doctors and patients are heavily discouraged from reporting vaccine injury, the reports are still flooding into the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System. One forum on reddit has over 25,000 reports of vaccine injury. Facebook has taken down groups that report on tens of thousands of vaccine injuries. The CDC is now limiting the tracking of “breakthrough” coronavirus infections that occur in fully vaccinated people, to make the shots appear effective.

The authoritarian push for vaccine compliance has led many people to hide their medical issues following vaccination or pretend their week-long sickness after vaccination is somehow a normal part of the scientific process. Some medical professionals still cling to the promise that vaccines are 100 percent safe, while many others are beginning to speak up about the problems they see with vaccinated patients.
