If you want any more evidence COVID-19 has been a pandemic of inequality - take, for example, Chicago restaurant owners, who plan to introduce vaccinated and non-vaccinated sections, according to CBS Chicago.

This brings us back to the 1990s when there were restaurants offering smoking and smoke-free sections. The division is clear, and the vaccine is dividing us all.

Chicago officials are still in the reopening phase and plan to be fully open by July 4. Per new guidance from Mayor Lori Lightfoot, businesses can operate with no restrictions as long as there is a section for vaccinated people.

This weekend, at Moe's Cantina Chicago, neon bracelets will be handed out to vaccinated people where they can mingle in an unrestricted section in the restaurant. For everyone else, the unvaccinated section will have socially distanced tables and partitions.

Actually they are re-writing foreign policy rules and regulations which allow the states to have their own foreign policies. With all the money laundering the District of Crooks has been doing to foreign countries, it actually makes sense to strip out the foreign policy to collapse the swamp's ability to launder millions to specific foreign countries they favor at the expense of the rest of the nation. The states could do a better job at laundering the tax payer money just like they do a good job at laundering the state payer money to their NPR buddies in each state through the Department of Education and leaving the rest behind to get the crumbs….

China Seeks to Override Washington with ‘Subnational’ U.S. State Deals

China’s state-run Global Times on Sunday hailed Chinese provinces and American state governments for “seeking to boost subnational economic and trade cooperation” — in other words, bypassing U.S. national policy and its restrictions on trade with China.

The Global Times was excited that representatives from U.S. states such as California, New York, and Iowa attended an online forum for economic cooperation run by China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM).

According to MOFCOM, participants in the forum “held in-depth discussions regarding strengthening economic and trade communication at the provincial and state level and promoting mutually beneficial development.”

The American participants in the forum seemed very comfortable with Beijing’s approach to “sub-national cooperation.” Some of them reportedly parroted Chinese propaganda language like “win-win cooperation”:

New York State Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul said via teleconference that as the state is building back stronger than ever after the COVID-19 pandemic, it is committed to promoting win-win economic development.

“We have had a long partnership [with China] and we look forward to continuing this relationship in the future,” said Hochul.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot told the forum that as part of its COVID-19 economic recovery plan, the city plans to invest in areas such as manufacturing, life sciences, transportation and food processing, and it plans to seek cooperation with China over these sectors.
