Joint Special Operations Command Personnel Encouraged to Attend Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Conference
Personnel for Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), a secretive component of the United States military’s Special Operations Command, are being encouraged to attend virtual conferences on diversity, equity, and inclusion, among other topics considered beneficial for their “professional development,” according to two sources.
Emails obtained by Breitbart News and sent out from JSOC’s Civilian Training Office to JSOC personnel — both civilian and military — in April and May encouraged them to attend the virtual conferences, which would also be broadcast at their compound at Fort Bragg.
One email sent on May 20, 2021, reminded JSOC personnel that they had access to the conferences “at no cost (normally $500 a session per person).”
The email highlighted the three next upcoming conferences, which would be broadcast in a classroom for JSOC personnel — one on “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion”; another on “Change & Transformation”; and another on “Emotional Well-Being.”
The conference on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, which started on Monday, included panels on:
— Inclusive Leadership for Building Equitable Organizations (featuring professional actors portraying workplace scenarios to “illustrate the responsibility of leaders to mitigate bias and address systemic disparities);
— Psychological Safety & Belonging (the description said: “where people feel free to express who they are, what they believe, and how they feel…”);
— Restorative Justice, Community Trauma, and The Partisan Divide (the description said: “The violent storming of the Capitol on January 6th was just the latest and most extreme example of the division that exists…”);
— Racism, White Supremacy and Anti-Racism (the description said: “Racism is not a new thing but it seems as if recently [it] has gone mainstream. From Meghan Markle on Oprah to the murder of Asian women in Atlanta…”).
The conference on Emotional Well-Being includes an event titled: “Black Emotional Lives Matter: Embedding Diversity and Inclusion in Your Approach to Employee Well-Being.” The description said, “You will hear about issues such as”:
• The impact of secondary trauma and the impact of events such as the murder of George Floyd
• The emotional tax paid by Black employees as they navigate the biases of a white-centric society and have to adapt to fit in with white-dominated work cultures
• The psychic pain caused by microaggressions
• The emotional toll of exclusion
An earlier email sent April 13, 2021, by JSOC’s Civilian Training Office said:
Participating in professional development courses will expose you to new ideas and perspectives, perhaps some you hadn’t thought of before. A wealth of new knowledge can come from actively participating in professional development courses.
It added: “Add these opportunities to your [Individual Development Plan] and invest time in yourself. These opportunities will help you grow professionally over time and do count towards your continuous learning credit hours.”
The email included another forwarded email from the Pentagon’s Defense Civilian Personnel Advisory Service (DCPAS) that said, “DOD employees are being afforded an opportunity to attend an array of FREE virtual conferences sponsored by The Conference Board.”
The Conference Board is a global non-profit “business membership and research group organization” described as “a think tank that delivers trusted insights dealing with subjects impacting business and society.” “These insights,” the email said, “are for all grade levels and ranks.”

Senate Confirms Biden DOJ Nominee Kristen Clarke with One Republican Vote
The Senate confirmed Kristen Clarke to head the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division with only one vote from Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME).
Clarke was confirmed as the first black woman to run the Civil Rights Division with a close 51-48 vote Tuesday afternoon. Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) did not vote. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) reportedly called this vote “particularly poignant and appropriate” as it came on the one-year anniversary of the death of George Floyd.
Vice President Kamala Harris had sworn Clarke on Tuesday evening as the assistant attorney general for civil rights.
Previously, her nomination was stuck in the Senate Judiciary Committee with a split 11 to 11 vote. Under the provisions of S. Res. 27, Schumer reached into the committee and filed a discharge motion for her nomination to place a vote in the full senate. The motion in the Senate to discharge Clarke’s nomination from the Judiciary Committee was voted on by a 50-48 margin.
Democrats have praised voting for Clarke, saying her two-decade-long career as a civil rights attorney made her uniquely qualified to lead a unit.
Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee Dick Durbin (D-IL) previously released a statement supporting Clarke, saying she is “the right person to restore credibility to the Civil Rights Division.” He also added, “at this moment in history, our country needs her combination of expertise, experience, skills, and thoughtfulness to ensure the Civil Rights Division will again work for all Americans.”
The Republicans in the Senate had great opposition to her confirmation. On the eve of her confirmation vote, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell took to the Senate floor calling Clarke unfit for the Justice Department due to her past far-left comments. He argued Clarke will be working in the Justice Department but has argued Americans “must invest less in police.”
McConnell had continued to bring light the time at Harvard in which she “invited, welcomed, introduced, and then defended a famously antisemitic guest speaker who had authored a book literally entitled — now listen to this — The Jewish Onslaught,” he said.
Tuesday, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) released a statement saying, “Let me be clear: Kristen Clarke is completely unfit to serve as Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division.” He added that “Clarke is one of the most radical nominees ever put forward for any position in the federal government, and today Democrats have voted to give her a top position at the Department of Justice.”

Pilots Tell Israeli News Channel They Flattened Gaza Buildings To "Vent Frustration"
According to a report in Israel's prominent Channel 12 news outlet, multiple Israeli pilots which were engaged in bombing operations over Gaza during this month's eleven days of fighting voiced that they often leveled entire buildings to "vent frustration".
A series of pilots were interviewed under anonymity so they'd be willing to speak more freely on things like the controversial 'roof tapping' procedure which warns residents in buildings to get out minutes before they are pummeled, as well as the air force's techniques for entirely flattening buildings.
A total of nine high-rise buildings had essentially collapsed in their own footprints during the bombardment, including the al-Jalaa media building which housed Associated Press and Al Jazeera offices. This would often involve a series of precision strikes at specific angles aimed at a structure's base. Additionally multiple hospitals and other health facilities had also been hit during the aerial campaign which in all took 248 Palestinian lives, among these 66 children, and wounding close to 2,000 more.
One Israeli pilot, identified only as "Major D" in the Channel 12 report, stunned by saying he sought to intentionally level entire towers as "a way to vent frustration" over Hamas' rocket fire and attacks on Jewish Israelis.
"I went on a mission to carry out air strikes with a feeling that destroying the towers is a way to vent frustration over what is happening to us and over the success of the groups in Gaza," the pilot explained according to a translation in Middle East Eye. Major D added: "We failed to stop the rocket fire and to harm the leadership of these groups, so we destroyed the towers."
The report further detailed that Israel's military says the intent of such tower-leveling actions is "to damage Hamas assets" but also "to deter the terrorist organizations in Gaza from continuing to launch rockets at Israeli cities."
As for the rocket count from Hamas and Islamic Jihad, Israel's defense ministry has tallied nearly 4,000 rockets over the period between May 10 and May 21 - after which the current ceasefire (which is over 5 days in) took effect.
While many of these rockets were brought down by the Iron Dome anti-air system, which the US has committed to replenishing for its closest Mideast ally, an unprecedented number scored hits in urban and residential areas, killing 12 civilians and injuring hundreds.

Canadian soldier charged with ‘mutiny’ after calling on troops not to distribute ‘killer’ Covid-19 vaccine
A member of the Canadian Armed Forces has been charged for allegedly trying to encourage fellow servicemen to defy orders in distributing what he called the “killer” Covid-19 vaccine, the Department of National Defence has said.
Officer Cadet Ladislas Kenderesi has been charged with “endeavoring to persuade another person to join in a mutiny” and “behaving in a scandalous manner unbecoming of an officer.”
Kenderesi was charged on May 12 by the Canadian Forces National Investigation Service in relation to an anti-lockdown rally in Toronto on December 5.
“An investigation was initiated shortly thereafter and the individual’s uniform was retrieved in December 2020,” the Canadian Forces said, as reported by Global News on Tuesday.
Footage of Kenderesi shows him taking to the stage at the event last year dressed in his military uniform and name badge, and addressing a crowd on a microphone.
He applauded those gathered for having the “courage” to come out and tell the government that “tyranny doesn’t rule over Canadians.”
He also referred to a Covid-19 “killer vaccine” with unknown side effects and called on active servicemen, truck drivers and others involved in the jab’s rollout not to assist the distribution efforts.
Kenderesi, who is a member of the Reserve Cadet Instructor Cadre in Ontario, is charged under the National Defence Act.
The charge against him is the first of its kind handed down by the Canadian Armed Forces in decades, according to the Ottawa Citizen.
A GoFundMe page set up to finance the officer’s legal costs said Kenderesi could face up to life in prison if convicted over the alleged offense.
However, local media citing defense sources have said such a severe punishment is highly unlikely.
